Positive experience: Fully recommend Primary Dental to anyone looking for the right dentist — especially Dr. Andrew Cerexhe. He is very experienced and explains each step in detail during tooth scaling. Their reception staff are also friendly and provide helpful information. Overall good but slightly expensive but was good service

Fantastic experience: I found the service provided by the receptionist, doctor, and assistant to be courteous, attentive, and professional. They took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, and I never felt rushed during my visit. Additionally, I found the pricing of their services to be very reasonable.

Negative experience: Terrible service, unorganised and discriminatory. Im in excruciating pain and this dentist has sent me away. I was booked in for a 5:30 appointment days prior to the appointment date. I organised for my children to be taken care of while I attend the appointment and when I attended I was told that there was no time and that the dentist on duty wouldn’t see me because I was referred by the government (despite accepting that the government can refer people to their services). When I explained that I had to organise a babysitter to attend this appointment the woman told me someone booked me by accident however she knew who I was when I attended and no one called me to cancel. Instead of notifying me prior I was told at the appointment when I could have made an appointment with someone else who has availability. Now I have to spend another night in pain with hopes I can find another dentist who has availability tomorrow.

Fantastic experience: Apt was on time, check and clean of teeth was thorough with good advice for care of a sensitive tooth given. Both desk and dental staff were friendly and caring.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a great experience with my dentist that really stood out. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and made me feel at ease. The dentist took time to explain everything thoroughly before starting the procedure, which helped calm my nerves. The office was modern and clean, and they used the latest technology to make the treatment more efficient and comfortable. I appreciated how gentle the dentist was, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. It was one of the best dental visits I’ve ever had!

Positive experience: Highly recommend Dr Andrew Cerexhe if you're looking for a dentist great with children, including high needs neurodiverse. He is so easy going and even encourages children to engage in the process. Dr Albert Tong is also an excellent dentist for any adult patients. I've read a couple reviews on here suggesting he comes across as exhausted or disinterested in his work. This is far from the truth in my opinion. He is a quiet, reserved person but he has always taken every care and done an excellent job caring for my teeth. Extractions he has done for me have been done with precision and care, and unlike many Dentists these days he always takes into account the cost factor of procedures and is sensitive about the fact that not everyone can afford expensive dentistry (I have had many Dentists just tell me I should get a procedure done and when I query them on price its thousands of dollars, such as one that referred me to a private doctor instead of ever considering I might want/need to go the public health care route).

Negative experience: Terrible experience with one of the female dentists (I don't recall which one it was) but I booked my child with her as the website said she was great with children. Yet pretty much from the moment I mentioned that my child was neurodiverse she decided they were too difficult to treat (she wouldn't even attempt a cleaning or X-ray) and her ONLY recommendation was for me to pay a private doctor to put them under general anaesthetic for treatment she didn't even mention the public health route (not everyone is made of money). Low and behold I got on to community services and the kind dentists there were able to do cleaning, X-rays, sealant and even a filling. Simply because they were willing to be kind and patient and give my child the time of day.

Fantastic experience: First time there, referred for an emergency check up. Everyone was super nice. Amazing place.

Fantastic experience: I found my experience seeing Dr Andrew amazing with his assistant, he talked me through everything and made my decision less daunting. He was respectful, kind, and has a genuine heart of gold. He was the best dentist I have seen in several years.

Fantastic experience: Dr Helen (who works at both Phillip and Belconnen practices) is the first dentist, my 9-year-old and I feel happy and excited goingbyo see. I've leant a lot about my teeth, from different sessions about things I had no idea; the medical logic behind what I've been noticing and wondering about. Dr Helen's insights are calming and profound.

Negative experience: Check before you go. Having made an enquiry via the website, the Belconnen branch made contact and booked me in for an ortho consultation. I confirmed this at the time of booking. Having got there however, sat in the chair and explaining my issue to the dentist, I was told they did not do any involved orthodontics treatment and I should go elsewhere. I explained that I'd booked a consultation appointment, the details of which was on thier website and confirmed by the receptionist at time of booking - there was no attempt of any apology or the miscommunication on their part. They were very dismissive. A waste of time so check before going and spending any money there.

Fantastic experience: This was my second visit, and Albert Tong has been absolutely wonderful. No judgement whatsoever. Explained what needs to be done and will continue to see him. I highly recommend him.

Negative experience: +1 star for pain management, if youre thinking of going here for something complex... dont, if you come here, i dont see much complaint about dr corby and i wish i had her. alas i was a child so i didnt know but i just had poor care and dr tong seems kind of unconfident and exhausted which i get, but the most respectful thing people can do is admit they dunno what theyre doing or maybe i was too difficult idk it was years ago, but they could send you to a more suitable person.

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to Dr Corby and her female dental assistant for giving me root canal therapy and a crown. They are both pleasant and professional, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Although I needed five appointments (including an initial check-up), I felt reassured and comfortable at all times. As such, I'd highly recommend Primary Dental. I intend to visit twice a year from this point onwards. The secretaries are also kind and efficient, and the waiting room is calming with nice photos and paintings of nature.

I have been here twice, the first time with Dr. Thais Corby, I had a check up and cleaning, she was very professional and the session was literally painless, I was surprised with how skillful she was. Second time was with Dr. Albert Tong. I came for check up and cleaning. During the session he found out that I have another issue with my teeth. He explains to me everything and provide me with treatment plan for that issue. He was so understanding and patient and he answered all my questions and concerns about the issue. I highly recommend this dental clinic, they are highly professional.

Fantastic experience: I was in great pain with a tooth access and could not get an appointment with my regular dentist for three qeeks In spite of not being a regular patient, Primary Dentist squeezed me in, I got excellent emergency advice and prescriptions for pain and infection, which meant I was able to survive!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ankita is amazing, my son won't see anyone else. I often need local anesthetic, Dr Ankita is so very skilled and gentle! The entire staff are so helpful and friendly! Dilprit makes sure everything runs smoothly from the moment we book to the time we leave. It took a long time for us to find the right surgery, it's hard enough getting kids to see a dentist... but when the surgery staff don't get ASD, it can be an absolute nightmare. PRIMARY DENTAL BELCONNEN are hands down the most accommodating and understanding team we have met!

Fantastic experience: Dr Thais Corby is incredible. I’ve had dental trauma at another dental practice and when I came to see her at primary dental she was calm, reassuring and listened to me. This is the second time I’ve seen her, and had to have an extraction, she was very professional, the process was fast and then she clearly explained the follow up. The receptionist Alice is also really lovely, and helpful went above and beyond to get me seen. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the dentist and reception staff at Ginnderra Dental Centre. Reception staff were professional, communicative, helpful and empathetic. The dentist I saw was very informative, helpful, communicative and professional. A special shout out of praise to Alice, the lovely receptionist who looked after me today and to the lovely receptionist who took my phone call yesterday and to Dr Albert Tong, the dentist who treated me. Service was prompt and reasonably priced. Prices explained well too. Keep up the great work team!

Negative experience: I had a back molar side filling- cheek side done and Dr Corby drilled into my cheek. I now have a hole / ditch (pinky nail size) in my cheek that I doubt will ever close up to normal (its been6 weeks). It has gotten better but its obviously there. When I went back 1 week after my filling, she said it didn't bleed so it couldn't have been her. There is no way I can bite sideways with my teeth to make such a huge hole. I've had many fillings done and this is my worse experience. They hurt me and now my cheek is deformed. I will not post a photo because it is too graphic.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful staff, made me feel welcome and comfortable. Only thing I found difficult was when they were asking me lots of questions whilst my mouth was wedged open during treatment, where I couldn't answer, otherwise amazing dentist who was thoughtful, kind and considerate. Will definitely recommend as Dr Albert Tong was lovely. Albert Tong was very thorough and explained everything, giving me options of what is needed for future visits etc without any pressure.
