Fantastic experience: My first time visiting Bupa Dental Bourke Street and I’m very happy with the service. Everyone was very friendly. The oral health therapist kept me well informed after each process and gave me heads up when things were going to get a bit uncomfortable. The dentist was also very friendly and gave me good explanation.

Fantastic experience: On May 8th, I had an emergency dental appointment due to a toothache. Dentist David was attentive and professional , recommending a tooth extraction based on my condition. Dentist Lachlan managed to fit me in and performed the extraction on the same day. He did an incredible work . The overall service was excellent. I want to specially thank the receptionist Malika for her exceptional kindness and helpfulness. In my eight years visiting this dental practice, I’ve never encountered a receptionist as warm and kind as Malika. Thank you!

Negative experience: Rude receptionist ever (Tina). Called to book an appointment and the way receptionist was speaking was unbelievable. Ask question and doesn’t let you speak and cuts off while one is speaking. Maybe go get some customer service training before you start taking calls or serving clients.

Dr. Izzat Midinov’s skills are exceptional, I can’t recommend him enough. He explained all my options and answered all my questions. The procedure was virtually painless, and the follow-up care was thorough. The atmosphere in the clinic was warm and welcoming, making me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a new dentist to take advantage of my BUPA coverage as I need $6k in work. I chose Dr Liu based on his reviews. It turned out to be a good choice. He is trustworthy, skilled, and has a great chairside manner. My wife will also be becoming a patient. Reception /admin staff were also very good - professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Negative experience: Be careful going here for major dental work. I was told that my crown should last 10 years, but it broke after 3 years. Went to another dentist who said my crown was quite thin, and that was probably the reason for the break. They said that I should call the previous dentist for a warranty. The warranty here is only 6 months, which compared to other dentists is quite low. Other dentists provide years of warranty. Highly recommend checking around before choosing where to get your crown. I wish I was aware of the possibility before paying so much for a crown that didn’t last. I’d like to add that they did offer me a 10-20% discount to get a new crown at their location after I complained, but as I have moved up north, and I am worried about the same result, I didn’t take the offer.

Positive experience: Dr Liu Very good dentist, made you feel comfortable. I am one who does not enjoy going to the dentist. I paid in advance with my dental treatment and had a credit of $175. I cancelled my last appointment after being told I had no credit left. I was very disappointed with the attitude from the receptionist who failed to explain what happened to my credit.

Fantastic experience: I was quite nervous coming into Bupa Dental (aren’t we all) as I have had poor experiences at the Dentists (not with Bupa) in the past in regards to teeth cleaning procedures. With my wedding coming up I thought it woukd be a good time for a check-up and clean and my word, what a decision it was to come here. I was attended to by the dentist Helen who was nothing short of accomodating, patient and excellent in her work. She was careful to ensure I understood the current state of my teeth and provided excellent advice on how to care for them moving forward. The clean itself was the best part. What I thought would be a nervewracking experience was actually quite enjoyable. So much so, that I do not recall letting out a verbal sound of pain, which is a testament to Helen’s care and excellence. Really happy with my experience and I send my thanks to Helen for building up my positive experience at the Dentists. Will definitely be back to see her.

Fantastic experience: I have been 3 times to the BUPA dental clinic in Melbourne CBD. The clinic is modern, well organised and absolutely up to date. The standard of care, thoughtfulness and support from my dentist was outstanding as was the friendliness and efficiency from the auxiliary staff. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation. I am female, 68 years old and have had a lot of dental work over the years.

Fantastic experience: Been seen by different dentists here for regular check ups and more elaborate work, all seem good and are friendly. Reception staff friendly too. Managed to fit me in at short notice on a Saturday when I'd cracked a molar. Ouch. Were also good at recognising and fixing a problem I had with an implant. TV on ceiling tuned to SBS, so that's a plus in my books too. I have some photos of my extracted molar but will spare you the details.

Negative experience: While the experience onsite was OK, quality of the work done has been terrible. Had 2 fillings done there. Less than 6 months have passed and both have collapsed, to a point that I need to do them again. I will never come back and strongly suggest anyone to go somewhere else.

I can't thank them enough for helping me through my fears by talking me through each procedure, making sure I'm comfortable at each step, and just overall being super kind and understanding. On top of that the facilities are immaculately clean and well presented. I will never go anywhere else in Melbourne!

I started going to this clinic when I worked in the CBD, as it was convenient, however I have continued to go there as it's a wonderful clinic. The team are always so warm and welcoming, especially Lucy on Saturday mornings. My appointments have always been on time and I love that they are open on Saturdays.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I used to go the Bourke St Bupa Dental clinic purely out of convenience, but it has since won my loyalty with exceptional service and care. Staff members are always polite, helpful and never pushy; their dentists and hygienists are also very professional and caring. Even though I no longer have to travel to CBD for work and like everyone is doing with the current situation, keeping my activities to my local, I am still willing to travel to CBD (yes even with painful traffic and parking). Fantastic experience: I am a nervous dentist visitor and the staff here have been excellent at calming me down and quickly checking/cleaning/updating filings before I gag or my rogue tongue tries to kick them out of my mouth. They explain each step of the process so I always know what is going on. I keep coming back because it is easy to get to (on a tram line), easy to make an appointment, friendly/welcoming front staff, efficient and knowledgeable dental staff and dentist.
