Dr. Medagoda was extremely professional and thorough, quickly identifying the exact issue and providing the right treatment with great care. Negative experience: My mother in law attended this dental clinic with Dr Dumi. She had a horrible experience. She went in for a clean and filling and Dr Dumi began doing a root canal after explicitly being told NOT to do one. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dandenong Dental Care has a fantastic team, from reception to treatment was friendly and supportive. Dr Julian and his assistant Pradeeni were kind, informative and careful. There's was calming music playing which helped with my anxiety and they checked on me throughout to make sure I was OK. Dr Julian gave information and help set up a treatment plan without causing fear and without judgement. I have seen denists at other clinics in the past and had been bullied but it was a completely different environment here and a very understanding and realistic team. Afterward I was surprised to find that there were no cuts or damage to my lips as I have experienced at other clinics. I can't wait to be proud of my smile again with the help of this team I highly recommend Dr Julian for anyone. He is fantastic with people who are anxious or stressed about the dentist and I imagine he would be great with kids as he has a soft presence which would be great for giving kids the most comfortable experience to help them be comfortable and confident to seek dental care

Today I had a root canal and Dr Francis was so gentle all my preconceptions of how painful it would be were wrong. He was quick while still careful. Definitely recommended!

Negative experience: No transparency, scare tactics to get me to spend more on cosmetic dental and over priced services. Terrible misleading reception staff. Tried coming back in 2023, was told I grind my teeth to get veneers. Bull. Spent 400 on unused mouth guard. Dentists run away from here each time someone new. Tried again last week Oct 2024, receptionist told us just to come in to see if daughter eligible but she could had checked on phone, then lied to me saying she offered over ph. Anything to get you in there. Then had audacity to try charge cancellation of appointment fee. This business has gone down the hole. Do not bother unless you like to pay double and have limited rebates considered. General detail check and clean over $260. Complete rip off. 2 years ago in 2022 I had this to say: Zac is amazing, kind, gentle and very clear on his procedures. Excellent dentistry too. My clean and subsequent filling went so smoothly and had perfect results. Was covered. Thank you

And relaxed pain free! Second time I had five feelings once again made to feel comfortable and painless ! Great experience! my third time I had aching wisdom teeth. I rang these guys up and as busy as they were they fit me in same day and had me booked in to get my. Wisdom teeth that were causing me so much pain out the next day ! it was absolutely painless ! I did not feel a thing ! And no pain today super happy and my procedure was complicated as they were sideways ! I could not recommend these guys any more 10 out of 10 if you are scared of the dentist, these guys will cure your fears thank you so much guys

Fantastic experience: Great Dentistry! Pam and Emma at reception are awesome, welcoming, warm and super switched on with all the info and what we needed. We felt good as soon as we walked in. Dr Julian is amazing. He did everything possibly to give me the best value as well as what my personal priorities were. He was really supportive and caring, explained everything really clearly and even let my 9yo watch a bit of the action up close. He’s the best dentist we’ve ever had. We left pain free and in smiles. They even gifted us toothpaste & brushes, and a tooth pen! The facilities are clean and the dental helpers were nice and super efficient. We will definitely come back here for all our future dental care.

Fantastic experience: When it comes to having to go to the dentist, I had avoided it like the plague, until I’m in so much pain that I can’t avoid it any longer. Having a past bad experience with a dentist once before, has made me develop a fear for all dentist. I would need the gas to help calm my nerves. Today I went in to have a tooth extraction and was able to go through the procedure without the gas. Dr Julian Francis and his assistant was absolutly amazing by providing a safe and calming space for me. Dr Julian answered all my 101 questions and his assistant allowed me to hold her hand throughout the procedure. I left the dentist today feeling amazing and ever so grateful. Thank you so much to Dr Julian and the amazing team at Dandenong dental care. I feel less nervous now about going to the dentist and will be back for my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr Julian is really good. I’m a type of person who gets very nervous when it comes to dental thing and he successfully calms me down. He did the tooth extraction with extra care. Definitely recommended.

Negative experience: I went in for a clean and polish. Came out with three fillings. Other dentist clinics said I don't need them, for years I was told I just had stains. Dr Julian was 15 minutes late. Dr Julian drilled my right hand moler so much it was pointy and very painful. I went back and Dr Julian drilled my moler deeper and filled the tooth again. He asked me which one feels better. I said neither this one feels too high. My jaw didn't close properly for a week and the sharp tooth ache caused facial trigeminal neuralgia. I was and still am on heavy pain killers a week later. My filling feels like playdo. The filling still soft after a week. I can poke it with a cotton bud and it molds into the cotton bud. I have never been afraid of dentists in my life until this experience. I was first quoted $190 for clean and polish at the booking of the appointment. The end of the appointment it costed me $670 for damage to healthy teeth with dodgy fillings and intense pain that I could have gone without. I am still in a lot of pain and discomfort which I did not have before attending this clinic. I now have an overbite. Friends used to say I had the perfect teeth. Now I'm grieving that loss. When I sneeze my teeth clunk. I've never experienced that before.
