Fantastic experience: Our whole family have been patients at AboutSmiles Zetland for several years, even after moving to another suburb. Both Dr Ash and Dr Cindy have been excellent in making our kids feel comfortable at the dentist, supporting me through a wisdom tooth extraction, identifying my daughters need for retainers at the right time and assisting my husband with a complex crown replacement. Fantastic experience: I visited About Smiles Zetland for general check up and clean. Dr.Ash is very professional. During the prosedure I didn't feel any pain and discomfort. My teeth became much whiter after the prosedure. Also, Dr.Ash explained me what problems I might have in future with my teeth. Fantastic experience: A big thank you to Dr Aodhan and his team at about smiles, my whole experience from the first consult to the end was so pleasant :) I was always very self conscious of my smile and thought about getting veneers but I was extremely nervous. Dr Aodhan makes you feel very comfortable and reassured. His level of expertise and Knowledge of his work is simply amazing! The attention to detail and preciseness is unmatched, he makes you feel very confident about the whole process and really works with you to achieve your prefect smile, his work is incredibly flawless!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Alex for some time now and he has been fantastic. Couldn’t recommend him more! He is very knowledgeable and friendly and always talks me through what he is doing. Prices for their service are very reasonable and pretty similar to what you would normally pay anywhere else. They are also very conveniently located across from East Village shopping centre so parking is super easy.

Negative experience: I went for a bleeding gum issue. They have taken 420$ for the first checkup, cleaning and xrays for nothing and asked me to come for another appointment and did the same thing and took 320$ and recommended me to go for another specialist for extractions which could cost me another 500$ to 600$. Honestly i am disappointed as the bleeding issue i have is not resolved and lost so much money for nothing. I dont recommend this place. They just want money.

Negative experience: This dentistry can not be trusted. I would not recommend anyone go to this dentistry if they don't want to be horribly ripped off. zero patient care and will do anything to get as much $$ out of your wallet as they can with out consideration for what the patient wants.

Negative experience: I called with major pain coming from my right lower wisdom tooth that was/is causing me major headaches and asked if they accept medi-bank private as I have an extras cover for dental. They had to call me back but confirmed they were able to help me out and to book in. I did and when I got there I was up sold to a treatment t plan and clean which I was happy to purchase as if they could help fix the pain and I can get some other work done great. I explained to the dentist that I had been horribly ripped off before by a dentist who failed to do a warranty his dodgy work that had cost me close to 3000 over 4 visits about 5 years ago - the work all fell out with in 12months. After the initial treatment I was referred to a specialist for the wisdom tooth and was still in a lot of pain - they booked me in again the following week to allow them to do some immediate work that would “definitely help” while I waited to get in to see the specialist. Left messages for specialist still to this day haven’t heard from their specialist. Went in yesterday in the hope for them to do some work that would alleviate the pain. 2 hours in the chair working on my left lower molars and I was confused by what was going on but trusted them as they said they would not let me have a repeat of my last experience Went to pay for the treatment - that did not alleviate any of the pain nor did their specialist contact me or let me know when I can get in - and they are not eligible for Medibank private extras cover …. Meaning it cost me $746 when I have $750 of dental cover with Medibank private. The experience up until this point had been very nice but then it dawned on me they were emptying my pocket with work that was causing me no pain and no issues in the hope they could get me to spend thousands …. Appalling distrustful service!

Fantastic experience: I very rarely provide feedback, but as I had a full dental reconstruction (work done on every tooth), I wanted to share my experience with others. Can I just say that this clinic was fantastic!! The staff were really down to earth & so friendly, they were always welcoming, and always willing to help with any request I had throughout the lengthy process, they made it so much easier for me. Dr Docherty is such a friendly & humorous dentist, and wow, he really knows what he’s doing! He took a different, but much better approach at the dental work that I needed doing in comparison to other dentists. And the end result is absolutely AMAZING! Even my friend who is another dentist was super impressed! I would highly recommend this clinic, even if you’re just after a general clean, or especially for any major dental work, I highly rate Dr Docherty and his team. Thank you loads for my new impressive smile :D

Dr Alvin was so professional, very patience with me and explained my dental issues very clearly and answered all my questions, the cleaning was great and not painful. Fantastic experience: Lemme start by saying.... I HATE the dentist. However over my last few visits to About Smiles Zetland, I have had nothing but exceptional service and procedures. The staff are extremely friendly, caring, personal and I haven't had a procedure yet where I have been in discomfort. My first visit was after my crown broke, and required replacing. And my last visit was for a filling. Neither times were I in any discomfort - which is unusual and the reason I hate dentists generally. My experiences have assured me that Dr Aodhan provides the highest level of care and comfort, better than any other practitioner I have ever been to. He explains everything he does and always assures you understand it and are comfortable. Ive never been fond of the dentist, however I Very highly recommend this practice. I have no hesitations in coming back again. To the staff here - keep up the great work. You really do make your patients feel very comfortable. Thank you.
