Negative experience: Used to be a good clinic that my wife and I often went for their Invisalign, filling and clean up services many years ago until the recent high turnover that experienced dentists were all gone. From my experience with a junior dentist yesterday: no self introduction, no general greetings, no explanation after check up, no guidance after clean up. Also the Asian reception girl looks new, she was lack of understanding of her duties and processed my insurance cover in errors that only half amount was claimed, and her attitude was quite cold. Might not come back if things don’t get improved.

Fantastic experience: I’m a gym owner and I’ll be honest I was petrified of needles. Just the thought of that dental jab used to send me into panic mode, until I met Dr. Arun. This man is a magician. I don’t know how he does it, but I never feel the needle. His calm, professional approach and gentle technique completely put me at ease. Fantastic experience: My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthetic with Doctor David in April. David was very compassionate and caring though out the whole process. He took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly at the start and put us both at ease straight away. I highly recommend David and his team and can't thank them enough for making this process smooth and comfortable for both myself and my daughter.

Fantastic experience: I go here for my regular dental check-ups- Staff are always very friendly and professional. My dentist is very patient with me and explains what his doing which makes me feel more comfortable and relaxed. I've never had any issues with this clinic unlike other places I've experienced. I just got my right bottom tooth remove and I have not been to a dentist for 40 years as my pain tolerate is very down as comes to the gums on the teeth. Fantastic experience: Having to suffer with a very angry back tooth and unable to get in with my regular dentist for a whole week my lovely work mate recommended I call Studfield Dental Group. I was very grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist team who made me feel very welcome. After a short wait I was ushered in to meet Dr Arun Gnanachelvan who instantly put me at ease as I can be quite anxious going to see a dentist. Negative experience: I’m an existing patient here and have been subject to lengthy wait times despite having an appointment which I’m usually ok with. Yesterday morning I came in with a severe toothache, and was the only one in the waiting room. I told the receptionist I had no appointment but hoped to see someone quickly as it was an emergency. She said they would fit me in and I sat down to wait. Other patients started coming in and were seen to first (they had appointments). After about half an hour I asked the receptionist if it would be a long wait and she said someone would see me shortly. There were apparently only two dentists working at that time. By this time I was in agony and in tears and watching dentists and dental nurses walk up and down past me, calling in other patients was the final straw. Common sense would be prioritising a patient in pain but at no time did anyone show me any empathy or care. I waited for almost an hour in total, and couldn’t take the pain anymore and left. Went to eDentistry down the road where despite being a new patient, they saw me immediately and I was treated with the utmost care and professionalism. What an absolute difference from SDG who were completely derelict in their duty of care.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to the dentist in 20 years due childhood trauma involving fillings without local anaesthetic! My friend recommended Pallavi Nandwani and she was amazing . She was kind, patient and gentle with me. Took her time and gave me plenty of local anaesthetic! Didn’t feel a thing! Thoroughly recommend her especially for people who are scared or have previous trauma.

Fantastic experience: Ultimate Dental Care Approximately 20 years ago I suffered a traumatic dental incident, which ultimately resulted in extensive orthodontic work, including a second round of braces and an implant on a front tooth. Fortunately for me, a friend recommended Dr. Michael Kotsifakis; I have never looked back. He was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and honest about the treatment. I felt safe and comfortable with the whole process. The clinic was a long way from home, but it was certainly worth it. The quality of service that I have experienced by Michael, and every member of Studfield Dental Group over the years is unsurpassed. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Studfield Dental for a couple of years now, Dr Ryan Han is the best dentist I’ve seen to date. He is professional, friendly, personable, gentle and is an excellent communicator. Would highly recommend!!

Negative experience: I attended the dental clinic for and annual check up on 22/12/23. Teeth cleaning and xrays were performed and I was charged $343. At this appointment, I was recommended a deep cleaning on a separate date. Trusting this advice, I booked in for a few days later. The dentist spent 45 minutes and then surprised me with a $1875 bill. I felt completely blindsided and taken advantage of. If I was made aware of the cost of this non-urgent service, I would have at least planned accordingly. I never once received a written quote or even a verbal estimate, I was just given a bill at the end. Completely unethical, especially during Christmas period. As we have private insurance - I requested the clinic to check the bill as it is an outrageous amount to pay for deep cleaning. My husband has had major treatments and never paid more than $800 for the services. Unfortunately the clinic was not receptive and dismissed my concerns saying they had quoted me. Which of course did not happen. This clinic is prone to upselling and provide services that are not required. I strongly recommend anyone attending this clinic to ask for a written quote before committing for any service.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t rate David and SDG any higher, I was quite anxious when I faced nerve damage after removal of 4 wisdom teeth. David ensured to call me right after the procedure and checked in with me regularly stating my nerves will come back and to just give it time. To his word, my nerves did regenerate and fortunately after the three months everything fully healed.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth out 5 wks ago by Dr David. I was recommended to this dentist by a family member and i will definitely be staying with them for all dental needs. I found booking at appointment very easy, and they were very flexible and catered to my appointment needs. On the day, I received the best care, I was very impressed and felt safe and well looked after. I was well informed before booking the appointment and before my procedure. Unfortunately my wisdom teeth removal was quite risky due to the nerve surrounding my bottom teeth. The chance of numbness or altered sensations in my chin and lips was higher in my case, however Dr David was incredible. He took his time and did a great job. He checked in with me the next day and answered any questions I had. He has made appointment times for me, to check in and monitor my recovery, which has been very reassuring. My experience with Dr David and studfield dental group has been outstanding. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr David Joseph (at the recommendation of a friend) for approximately 5 months to address my dental issues. David has provided me with the utmost comfort and care during my visits. When I went for my first appointment I had high anxiety and was very stressed. David was friendly, caring and reassured me before and during the appointment and has continued to provide excellent ongoing care to me. David has provided thorough information before and after my procedures. I would highly reccomend David to anyone who is anxious or worried about their teeth to give David a visit.

Negative experience: I am responding to the review response of patient Ana F. I am the caregiver that accompanied the patient on the day of the surgery on August 11. We arrived at the practice between 11 am to 11:30 am, was advised to wait. While we waited only two people approached us, a lady, wanting to take an xray, but the patient already bought the xray, handed it to the lady, the lady advised to sit back down and then sometime later, a gentleman, who introduced himself as the anaesthetic, met the patient and I in a private room, confirming details, allergies all the standard pre surgery questions. I was in the surgery room until the patient went under GA, then went back to the waiting. Dr Michael was not one of them to meet or greet the patient or I prior the surgery. After the surgery which was 90 minutes or so, I saw the team exiting. I saw the patient being transported to recovery with a nurse. The post surgery advise was given by this lady nurse, again no Michael in the room with me. I was advised to get the medications which I did. This lady nurse was with the patient and around 20 or 30 minutes later, the patient was helped to the waiting from the recovery room where the payments were cleared. When the bill was handed, the patient pointed at the bill on the surgeon's name and looked at me, being unaware of who the surgeon was. Since you have involved me in your claims about Michael meeting or greeting the patient or I, I had to clear the air from misinformation in your response. The patient called the service a week later, now becoming frustrated with numbness, pain and suffering, asked the reception why she wasn't informed of surgeon changes as well as the surgeon not taking the time to meet or greet the patient which was impolite - The receptionist advised that their surgeons do not meet or greet on the surgery day, only the anaesthetic team do and apologised for the miscommunication regarding the operating surgeon saying the patient should have been informed. The receptionist further clarified that Michael do surgeries on Friday and David does on Wednesday, when rescheduled from a Wednesday to Friday the staff failed to mention that surgeon will be different. The patient received a call a week before surgery, offering a spot that became available on Wednesday, again without mentioning the surgeons, the patient kept the Friday appointment. I had my wisdom teeth extracted on the chair by David and I informed David who was aware of Ana's condition. We had a relative had wisdom teeth extracted an year ago also with David. Your claims that Ana booked the surgery with Michael after seeing David and having a history with David is inaccurate and odd. I personally accompanied the patient for an emergency appointment 5 day post surgery because she was suffering and extreme pain, she was prescribed double anti biotics for two weeks. I accompanied the patient two weeks post surgery, both times seen by Ryan who was very patient and kind. The patient has needle phobia, she has anxiety and if she was even remotely aware that permanent/temporary nerve damage or facial numbness that lingers, she would have not gone ahead. She is still numb which is abnormal, numbness will only persist if the nerves were affected. She is panicking and feeling inconfident as the numbness is on her FACE a month later and no guarantee of it completely resolving. You are gravely mistaking this person with someone else OR are completely unaware of the events before, on the day and post surgery. I would advise you and your staff to reflect on your errors on the day, miscommunication regarding the booking, professionalism and customer service rather than unfounded claims.

Negative experience: Update: Be advised, I have already sought legal advise for negligence, pain and suffering. Apparently, it's very common for practices extract wisdom teeth instead of referring to a specialist, you performed knowing mine were impacted. Skills in impacted wisdom is essential to avoid what has happened to me. I was told to wait 2 weeks, you'll make full recovery. 2 weeks later, being told, wait a month, it takes half an inch for the nerve to grow back each day. Now a month later, still numb, sensitivity when I eat, pain and whatnot. It take months for nerve to grow back but may be permanent. I may and may not fully recover, yet here you are instead of acknowledging your errors, miscommunication, trying to accuse after I suffered complications due to your negligence. I booked with David. I brought my X-ray on the day, David recommended surgery under GA. No information was provided about the procedure or complications, appt lasted 5 mints or less. I paid the booking fee at the reception. Had I known about complications, I wouldn't have proceeded. You really think that I would go ahead with a surgery knowing it may cause permanent nerve issues? I had my teeth intact for 36 years. Days before my surgery, I received a call postponing it. I rescheduled to August 11, unaware that a different surgeon would operate. I complained later, and the receptionist apologised. Claims of Michael greeting me are untrue, only the anaesthetic team met me. Instead of addressing my suffering due to your practice's negligence, you deny my concerns. I never chose Michael; I specifically chose David after reading their profiles on your website. Michael specialises in cosmetic dentistry, while David focuses on wisdom tooth extraction. Your claim that I was offered a choice between them is false. I would not have changed my dentist for no reason. I attended 5 day post-surgery and a two-week appointment with Ryan. I only canceled my last Tuesday appointment as I already have one booked for Sept 12. Ive been calling regularly, yet you claim Im not attending appointments or answering your calls. You have called me once since my last call. Dont demand me to remove review of MY experience at your practice, unless you are offering me a solution. Your unprofessional response is disappointing. Had all four wisdom teeth extracted under GA, but the procedure went terribly wrong. It's been three weeks, and I'm still experiencing pain, numbness, and swelling on the left side of my face. I initially booked with David Joseph, but my surgery was performed by another dentist, the "principal dentist," which I only discovered when I received the bill. There was no prior notification of the change in the operating dentist. On the day of the surgery, the principal dentist didn't even see me, say hello or introduce himself before or after GA. My lower lip, lower chin, three teeth, and gum are numb. Follow-up 5 day after the surgery, I was asked if I need a referral to a specialist. However, why my surgery was performed instead of referring to a specialist, since my wisdom teeth were impacted. Yes, it takes time to heal when negligence happens, impacted wisdom teeth requires skills and experience of a specialist. I should have been referred to a specialist for the surgery from the beginning. Today, I called the practice again because I suspect that my left top wisdom tooth may still be present, as I feel chewing on my left cheek. Still numb. People keep telling its nerve injury because it shouldn't take this long to heal unless there's some damage. I've had to rely on painkillers. When I mentioned my suspicion to the receptionist today, she disconnected the call, insisting that all four teeth were removed. Despite my ongoing suffering and numbness, they dismissed my concerns as "perfectly normal." It's not normal for the healing process to take this long, which suggests that something went wrong. Dr. Ryan has seen me twice and has shown sympathy. I feel awful, in constant pain for three weeks with no certainty of when it will end. Thank you.

Positive experience: Today (24/06) at 11:00am, my husband went to this dental to check his teeth as he confirmed the time 11:30am. Thursday (22/06) evening at 8:26pm confirmed. After half an hour, he asked the reception lady what time I can check my teeth. She answered "Just wait"; After one hour, he asked the reception lady again, she answered "No idea"! What a upset! Ok, I give you ONE STAR! That's VERY GOOD! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Based on the Studfield Dental honest apologies, yesterday (22/07) my husband checked his teeth again. He's glad to get suitable treatment and some idea from his dentist. Hopefully this good service can keep going. Thanks. I'd like change into 3 Start as (1 Start + 5 Start)/2=3 Start.

Negative experience: Chose this dentist due to reviews and as they are part of my private health insurance dental network. First red flag was to take me to a room to get x-rays that I didn't request and they didn't disclose. I felt pressured to continue hoping that it would be covered by my health insurance. This one xray was almost $100 and wasn't fully covered. Felt like the dentist was angling to get more work by being negative although I have had check ups every 6 months. They almost seemed disappointed when they couldn't suggest any further needs. My check and clean was quick. I don't feel enough time was taken and my teeth didn't feel as good as previous visits to the dentist. My health insurance covers 1 free check and clean with nominated dentists, which this was. I was still out of pocket over $40. I'm not sure whether I just was unlucky in my allocation of dentist, but the lack of transparency isn't acceptable and the negative vibe means I won't be back and wouldn't recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I suspected I needed a root canal on a certain tooth because of increasing but manageable pain. Booked in with a dentist who took 3 xrays and advised me to fill the 2 minor cavities in the tooth next to the problem tooth first and see if the pain went away. I got one done and they rebooked me 2 weeks on to fill the rest, but no mention of a root canal. 3 days later the pain intensified over the long labour day weekend: where most dentists were away until Tuesday. I couldn't sleep on Saturday night because of the throbbing pain, even with pain killers. Thank goodness for SDG. I called them on Sunday morning and they booked me in at 12 pm the same day. Amiel took an xray and confirming the need for a root canal, he immediately went to work on it, and the whole procedure was PAINLESS. He explained things thoroughly and was reassuring! I have a bit of a needle/dental pain phobia but my worries were nought. Relief was immediate. I really felt like SDG came to my rescue. No more tooth ache. Having just moved into the area, I left knowing where I can go for pain free dentisty for the whole family. We have found our family dentist :).

I DID NOT ask for a HAND scaling, I just ask for a normal clean and scale... it is really unprofessional that you are now not even taking ownership that you have poorly train staff... she had to put me on a few times on hold to get any information. I was only asking for a. clean/scale and polish. which is very normal procedure, and had no trouble with others. Again from your response of NOT taking any ownership is POOR. Orignal post The dentist receptionist didn't know their prices, and also this is the first dentist, that charges clean, and scale separately.. So for a checkup is $55, for a clean is $115 and than for a scale clean, they charge EACH tooth for $66... are you kidding me. Most places charge $100-$150 scale and clean. This is so over price and unethical.

Fantastic experience: On Saturday my 6 year old had quite the accident and damaged his mouth and teeth severely. After spending hours in hospital we were sent on our way with no action taken and my little man was in agony. I drove 3 hours the next day because you guys would do an emergency appointment for my little guy on a sunday. Sherridan and the dentist (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) were incredible. They were so caring, understanding caring and patient. It was also my little guys first time at the dentist and he had to have 2 teeth pulled. He didn't cry or wasn't scared at all and I thank the team for that due to making him so comfortable. So thank you SDG. I would gladly drive 3 hours again for your service's

Fantastic experience: All of the staff are really lovely, i hadn’t been to the dentist in years (because i am a chicken and my anxiety and dentists don’t mix well) but my dental pain was getting worse so i called up and they booked me in with David who is really kind (receptionist was really helpful getting me in quickly even though they’re reallly busy, not sure which one i initially spoke to but i think i’ve spoken to 2 or 3 of them between my initial consult and surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and they were all lovely and helped calm my nerves a lot), really cool and it’s the first time in years i’m not in pain because of my teeth ~ 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: Daughter did 4 wisdom tooth removal under general anaesthetic(GA). We were told that the GA will be charged by 3rd party. Signed the payment authorisation for GA on the day and the charges came through the very next day to our credit card. When we asked for the tax invoice for the GA for 3 times, they still unable to send it to us. Called the dental clinic and they said because the GA is 3rd party so they have no control. This doesn't sound right and sound like they are avoiding to take the responsibility. We patient doesn't deal with the 3rd party. We only deal with this dental clinic. If they ever ask you to sign any authorisation payment, beware they are able to provide you with a tax invoice or receipt.

Fantastic experience: Google review post helped me found Studfield Dental Group last year when my family relocated to this area. After a year of seeing Dr. David Joseph regularly for all of my families ( my husband and our two children) , we are totally satisfied and grateful for the wonderful service Studfield Dental Group provided. Dr. Joseph is a competent and caring dentist . There were two occasions the receptionists helped us book urgent appointments in the evenings, which made us feel that they do care our needs. Fantastic experience: I've always been terrified of the dentist from a very young age and did everything possible to avoid a visit. Although I brushed 3 times per day, this didn't prevent me from having gum disease, that smoking at a very young age had contributed to. So, after a friend recommended Studfield Dental Group, I booked a consultation and was absolutely terrified walking through the door. Dr. Arun was absolutely fantastic, very understanding, patient and encouraging. So, I had 2 appointments with a dental hygienist to do a deep clean on my upper and lower teeth. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she was amazing, gave me time to settle myself, arranged for a blanket as I was scared/shivering and didn't rush the procedure. Even the dental nurse was brilliant, actually held my hand, which was a great comfort. Next step, I needed impressions done and the thought of this also terrified me as it bought up old, scary memories. Enrico (not sure of the correct spelling) was incredible!!! He was so patient, attentive, positive and calming, so I got through this procedure in a matter of minutes. Next step was the extraction of 4 teeth and a partial denture put in place straight away. Arun, again was patient, kind and reassuring. So, needless to say, although as a grown terrified woman, I got through this dental nightmare with flying colours. I would also like to commend the dental nurses and receptionists for their friendliness and understanding. All in all, I cannot recommend Studfield Dental Group more highly. If you are a big chicken, like me, please consider a visit to this business, even if it's only a consultation and see for yourself, what a great place this.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently undergoing orthodontic treatment with stud field dental and the process has gone better than expected. I’m getting such great results within only 8 weeks of having my braces on , I’ve had a few follow up appointments and each time Michael and the rest of the team are extremely professional, and have actually cut time off my treatment due to how quickly the Damon Braces are working on my teeth! Definitely recommend !!

Fantastic experience: I had avoided the Dentist for many years (due to Dental anxiety) which had resulted in my teeth becoming infected, painful and broken. From the moment I called SDG Dr David Joseph and all the staff were both patient, accommodating and reassuring . I ended up needing 12 teeth extracted, which I did in 2 separate treatments, but a Majority of them done under General Anaesthetic (only a few days ago). I couldn't recommend or Thank them enough. It's been a very positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say a big thank you to Dr Luxman and the team at SDG. I went in on a Sunday afternoon in pain with my tooth fearing I would need an extraction. After a quick x ray, he recommended root canal treatment so I could save my tooth. Dr Luxman & his team really made me feel calm and relaxed throughout the entire process & soon enough I was not in any pain and on track to feeling much better. If I could give more stars I would, I highly recommend this Dental clinic & I will be using them for all my Dental work. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I have a huge phobia of the dentist and required quite a bit of work including, extractions, deep clean and restorations. From my first appointment until the final procedure Dr Luxman, David the anaesthetist, the nurses and reception staff made me feel safe, comfortable and supported. I was well informed on choices and outcomes and not pressured in the slightest. They were patient and kind to me at all times. Their skill and professionalism making the entire experience quick, easy and positive. Could not recommend SDG enough.

Negative experience: The dentist named Esther was really inexperienced, unprofessional and comes with a poor attitude. She gave my husband alot of anaesthetic for 2 small fillings, which took 5 hrs to wear off. During her practice, she was barking at her assistance which reflected on her professionalism. She was not the same dentist he saw on his first visit. The office gave him a random dentist. When he mentioned it, she suggested that the first visit, that was not a dentist whom provided the cleaning. What? Not a dentist? What is this practice running? So dodgy.
