I had recently moved to the area and I am not the biggest fan of coming to the dentist, so trying to find the right fit for me was important. Fantastic experience: If I could give this business 6 stars, I would!! Some people are anxious about dentists, well, times that by 20 & that’s me!! I had an emergency today, saw the reviews & booked online. I then rang, to explain further my emergency. I received a call back within 10 minutes saying an appointment would be made for me 3 hours later. I was immediately put at ease by Tahnee, the receptionist & upon meeting Amy, the dentist, my anxiety lessened considerably. Amy was professional yet friendly, explaining everything as the appointment progressed. She put me at ease, worked efficiently & recognised my decreasing anxiety. Now, I haven’t been to a dentist in 30 years. My fear was extreme. Today, I made another appointment for follow-up treatment& apologised for my fear. Everyone, yes, everyone at the practise worked to elevate my stress & I can’t thank them enough. If you’re in need of a dentist, &, have fear of them, believe me, this is the place to go!!!

Fantastic experience: It doesn't matter what the name is of any business, it's the treatment one receives and the staff that treats you that really counts. Costwise I am a little disappointed being a pensioner with full gold medical cover. However, its unfortunately the case with most dentists these days. Every case should be handled on its merits, not as a general rule for every patient. I still recommend SmilesHQ for their great service provided in a soothing and calming atmosphere. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Went to this dentist for the first time today and literally every person I spoke to and saw was so professional and kind. I have some really awful past experiences with dentist and dental work that have left me really anxious whenever I have to be seen or have my work done. The dentist explained every single thing she was doing and explained why. We worked out a plan to get my pain under control for the immediate concern but Lao set up a course of action to get the rest of my smile up and running again. I was so nervous when I moved about finding. New dentist but I’m really pleased with these guys! Thank you!

She is very careful to eliminate any pain or discomfort. The surgery is ultra modern and equipped with the latest technology. Amy's staff are also delightful. Fantastic experience: I was very self conscious about my teeth and smile. I had been to other local dentists that just told me how bad my teeth were and it would take 2 years and a lot of money to rectify. I wanted a beautiful smile for a major birthday that is coming up, so I thought I would try Smile HQ, but didn’t have a lot of confidence that the experience would be any different to the previous ones. From the moment I walked through the door, not one person made me feel uncomfortable about my teeth. Amy and Maddie were so professional, but made me feel like they cared about me, and I was a friend. After that initial appointment I knew I was going to get my smile I had dreamt of for so many years. A short 7 weeks later, and I have my new smile. I have had a lot of bad experiences with dentists, but Amy was so gentle and patient with me. She listened to what I wanted and gave me options to make it happen. I am forever grateful to Lisa, Amy and Maddie for supporting and encouraging me all the way.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at SmilesHQ!! The reception is beautiful and welcoming, as is the reception staff. Dr Amy and Maddie’s patience with a very busy and inquisitive toddler made his visit a positive one. The opportunity to wear some cool glasses, watch a show off the ceiling and the ‘yummy toothpaste’ has been the big talking point since the appointment. The easy access to free parking and the CDBS made the entire visit so simple, it’s rare to find a place that is so accommodating to adults and children. We will be back!!

Fantastic experience: I have been absolutely terrified of dentists since a traumatic experience as a child. I had a full dental checkup with Dr Amy 2 weeks ago and the whole time I felt calm and at ease. She talked me through everything and did everything she could to ease my anxiety. Yesterday I had my 2nd visit, this time with Ashlee for a deep clean for my gums. I honestly did not feel a thing, Ashlee explained everything, I had happy gas and numbing gel and needles (did not feel the needles). Then I laid back watched the tv above with headphones on and honestly did not feel a thing!!!! I came home expecting to be in pain once the analgesia wore off but NO PAIN. I have another appointment in 2 weeks for my deep clean on the other side and for the first time in my life I am not afraid or anxious about my appointment as I know Ashlee and Dr Amy will do everything to make me feel at ease and pain free. I totally recommend Smiles HQ at Warners Bay they are fantastic. All of the staff are wonderful and so caring and welcoming, the rooms are like a 5 star hotel and you instantly start to feel relaxed and comfortable. I am no longer afraid of the dentist

My son (9) will only go here now after extensive dental work was done he actualy looks forward to seeing Dr Nathalia for his visits. The receptionist was friendly and empathetic, the whole surgery had a great vibe. Amy is one of those people who you can tell absolutely loves what she does. The care and attention she showed during my appointment gave me so much confidence, and the end result exceeded all my expectations. Fantastic experience: Smiles HQ is an outstanding dental practice. When my 2 year old broke his tooth, the service we received was exceptional. They saw him straight away for x- rays and into the dental surgeon to have the operation 48 hours later. My 6 year old has always been scared of the dentist and now enjoys it! The Oral Health Therapist Ashlee made him feel so comfortable and now he enjoys brushing his teeth. Highly recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: What Nathalia and Amy have created at SmileHQ compares to none others. I needed to get in to a dentist for an emergency tooth ache and could get in with Nathalia. I had an infection that progressed quickly over the weekend and the care and follow up that I received right through the whole saga was absolutely mind blowing. By the time I walked out of my 3rd visit a week later, sans problem teeth, I felt like I’d made a whole bunch of new friends. The team, from reception to dental nursing and the dentists are just lovely and warm. Emma and Mariah were heaven sent!!! Amazing with kids and the space is beautiful. I’ve already told multiple friends about how good they are and our whole family will be going there from now on. Not many people can say they love their dentist but we definitely can.

I needed a root canal and some fillings, but after visiting another dentist for a consultation, I didn’t feel like they cared about me, just about making money. Fantastic experience: For anyone who suffers from high levels of stress and anxiety when attending the dentist, I strongly recommend organising a visit to SmilesHQ and in particular Dr Calvin. For the past 8 years I have put off going to the dentist because of the stress it gives me, and as a result have put up with constant pain and discomfort from a fractured tooth, another that required a crown and some other crowding issues. Recently when the pain got to an unbearable stage, I finally decided to get it fixed. I contacted and arranged a consult with Smiles HQ who was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so thankful that I did. From the outset Dr Calvin and her team were fantastic to deal with and very understanding of my situation and dental phobia. We discussed the source of my anxiety and developed a tailored treatment plan that suited my budget involving low level sedation with strategies to get me through each visit, which included noise cancelling headphones and a favourite tv show to watch to provide some distraction. During each visit Dr Calvin did such a great job at explaining each step of the process and regularly taking breaks and checking in with me to make sure I was doing ok and not experiencing any pain or discomfort. This really helped me and to my surprise I have able to get my dental issues sorted at a reasonable cost with no pain or freak outs. So for anyone putting off seeing the dentist, SmilesHQ is worth contacting to get your teeth sorted. I was so hesitant before my first visit but now am so grateful I did, and finally can eat properly on both sides of my mouth again.
