Fantastic experience: I was recommended here by a work colleague and so far I'm very happy I came. Cecilia is very thorough and explains what procedures will need to be undertaken over the next couple of weeks. You are given a quote for the upcoming dental works and are offered a payment plan if that is of assistance. The premise is very modern and clean. You can watch television or listen to music whilst having your dental procedure. Cecilia and Millie make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Thank you ladies.

After going through most of my teenage & adult years with gappy/twisted teeth, and never wanting to smile - he has completely changed my life. The first time I looked in the mirror to see my new veneers, I'll admit - I had a sook I don't think I'll ever be able to truly express just how much of a difference he has made. Fantastic experience: Gem on the south side! Whilst visiting Toowoomba on holidays I developed a bad toothache. Friendly and efficient front desk staff were able to fit me in, which I was very thankful for. I was very fortunate to see Dr Immanuel, who immediately made me feel at ease in his surgery. Dr Immanuel took the time to explain all available options for treatment with a polite and professional manner. He relieved the pain in my tooth, and whilst I did need some anaesthetic, I didn’t feel the needle at all. The friendly dental assistant gave me headphones to view a show and the procedure was over before I knew it. Whilst I hope to not need dental treatment on holidays here in the future, I feel very comfortable in returning to Dr Immanuel should the need arise, and I will be recommending his surgery to my family and friends in Toowoomba. 5 Stars! Positive experience: I had my first appointment with Southside Dental for a clean. I am a very nervous dental patient but the staff were lovely and very attuned to the anxiety I felt. It was the BEST clean I have ever experienced from a dentist. I definitely feel more confident about a return visit.

Fantastic experience: Nice atmosphere, cleanly space, working TVs with headphones while I lied back to distract from the procedure. They were upfront about the total cost and breakdown of it so no surprises when I left. Friendly front staff, dental assistants and dentists that listened. ‘I hate dentists’ is my general sentiment because I don’t enjoy tooth pain of any kind but that’s inevitable when you’ve got sensitive teeth so my experience here was very pleasant.

A great clean and great information provided so you know what’s going on at all times instead of just receiving a bill at the end of your visit they really sit down and help you get what you want out of a perfect smile. Couldn’t be more happy with the team at Southside dental will definitely be returning. Thanks guys!

Immanuel and the team took the time for extra comfort measures and to explain exactly what they were doing. Immanuel gave great tips for dental care straight off the bat and covered oral health goals. Was smiling wide when I left and got to take advantage of the new patient deal yay!

Fantastic experience: I first saw Dr Immanuel in November last year and have had several appointments with him over the past months. Dr Immanuel is an absolute professional and it's plainly evident that he has real empathy and a vested interest in his patient's dental health. He is certainly a master of his craft. If teeth were marble blocks, he'd be making Michaelangelo's David. All procedures with him have been comfortable and with the TV above the dental chair, you can almost forget you're at the dentist. Dr Immanuel also talks through portions of the procedures, so you know what to expect. If you're someone who has anxiety with the dentist, that along with the very welcoming naturing should assist in alleviating that. He also takes pictures during the procedures which gives an understanding of what's been completed and why. The nursing staff are also very accommodating and are a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I have enjoyed my visit and treatment. The whole team is worth praising. I have received various types of treatments in various countries including NZ, USA, and more. However I have found that I have received the best of all services.

Negative experience: Rather shocking. Polite staff, but not really great at customer service with adults. Dr Chen is probably better at treating children and teenagers, really did not build up rapport with adult customers. Provided a costly quote for further treatment and future appointments without attending to the current issue, or trying to resolve it. Dental surgery does not offer emergency dental services, don't waste your time looking for any assistance here. Unfortunately cannot give many stars, as the business seems to be all about the money.
