Fantastic experience: Visited K1 Dental in Toorak today for my six monthly clean. Nine years ago I unfortunately experienced a traumatic experience by a hygienist in Toorak at another clinic, my gums suffered significantly, it took 18 months for my gums to heal. I literally by chance met this amazing hygienist at another clinic her name is Marcia who has worked at K1 Dental for the past 4 years. Marcia has the hands of an angel, she is so thorough, caring, attention to detail and I truly enjoy my visits. Congratulations K1 Dental for employing an amazing hygienist.

I recently had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted in the chair (two separate appointments). I was nervous going in and walked out feeling no pain during and after the procedures. Dr Jesse and his team are excellent at what they do and are exceptionally caring and professional. I have so much confidence in Dr Jesse’s abilities and feel very much more at ease when it comes to seeing the dentist now after being afraid for so long! Fantastic experience: I made an emergency appointment due to a toothache. Dr Becker & his team were friendly & professional. Dr Becker explained what was happening clearly and what needed to happen for my toothache to be sorted out. I felt reassured and positive about the appointments ahead. His assistants were kind and friendly. The receptionists were helpful & even ran my health insurance for me, so I would know how much I would be out of pocket ahead of time. Fantastic experience: I obviously was not looking forward to my Dental appointment....lets face it who likes going to the Dentist? I had to have a filing replaced, Dr. Jessie was so professional, told me all the steps he was taking as he could gauge I wasn't feeling too excited to be there.....he alleviated all my anxieties & before I knew it the dreaded appointment was over! Fantastic experience: In Melbourne for a week, an emergency dental situation developed one Friday evening. Googled and found K1 Dental was very nearby. Receptionist was just leaving but got me an appointment Saturday midday. It was a bit less urgent by then. However dentist Adam Evans was prompt and pleasant. He quickly understood the situation, investigated and prescribed treatment that stopped things getting worse (and actually stabilized and improved the situation) before my return home.

Fantastic experience: I don't give many reviews and rarely 5 stars, I did not think I would give a Dentist 5 Stars. However, I had lost my Crown by eating pork crackle and contacted K1 Dental, from my first phone call I was made to feel important and understood the urgency that I needed my front tooth fixed before a reunion. The receptionist was extremely helpful and got me in to see Jesse Becker. Jesse gave me a fantastic Temporary front tooth which looked fantastic (better than the crown that I had lost) Jesse and his dental nurse were extremely caring and I cannot recommend their professionalism and work highly enough. I am going back to have more work done and will not be going anywhere else in the future, Thank you so much!!

Negative experience: 4 weeks post wisdom tooth removal and I am still getting peices of broken tooth come up out of the exctract. Did the tooth not be examined when removed to ensure all was out. No wonder the pain had still been consistent. Staff were amazing and friendly but this is not ok

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr Adam. I went in for a clean yesterday and was charged for a deep clean I did not request or was consulted about before the treatment. After consulting with my private health provider I was told that he had gone against the Australian Dental Association legislation and charged me for 2 different cleans in the same appointment. When I went back and spoke to the reception about this I was refunded for the less expensive clean. I will not go back to Dr Adam. I felt he was dishonest and not transparent about the high cost of the extra services he performed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Jaclyn Fahey for several years and she is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. I usually find the dentist quite stressful but Dr Jaclyn is gentle, kind and professional and provides trustworthy advice on your options. The front desk team and dental hygienists are also really friendly and helpful and provide health insurance quotes before any major dental work so you know what to expect. I’ve referred several friends to Dr Jaclyn at K1 and they’ve all been really happy with their care.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing K1 Dental people for years. They never disappoint. My dentist, I am seeing is Dr.Jesse Becker. It my sound strange about visit to dentist, but my visits to this dentinst are almost a pleasure. He has very personal approach to the patients. He treats you like a friend. He is very informative about procedure he will and is performing. Perfect communicator being on your side. If treatment is not necessary he will tell you and discuss it with you. Prices are competitive.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Allister Yan and highly recommend him! He is very caring and kind and takes the time to explain what he’ll be doing and the options available. I’m a very nervous patient and Allister has always been conscious of that and really sympathetic and gentle with the procedures. He takes the time to listen and talk to you, as well as have a laugh! I’ve been so happy with my experiences with Allister and me and my family will be sticking him!

Fantastic experience: Just had a great experience at k1. Friendly receptionists, amazing clean with little to no discomfort and a very direct honest dentist. There was no shaming , no sales tactics and a surprisingly good price considering it's toorak. Highly recommended for anyone after a solid honest dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I was quite apprehensive as I had not been to the dentist in 10 years (very bad and never do this!!). Both Marcia and Dr Becker were non-judgemental about this fact. They were extremely constructive with their advice on preventing gum disease progression and setting out a plan going forward. They put me at ease, and as a result, I will be much more of a compliant patient from now. Reception is very welcoming and proactive about keeping in touch/putting you on a waitlist for an earlier appointment date.

Fantastic experience: A massive thank you to K1 dental The sweetest staff members - from receptionists to the dentists. I want to thank you Jesse - for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry. I had quite the groove in my front teeth, and Jesse was the first dentist in my lifetime to inform me that we could "fill it" using a filling; to ensure no nasties accumulated within the groove across time, in addition to enhance the visual aesthetics of the tooth. IT LOOKS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. Also, I am a massive nerd at heart, and I asked Jesse to fill me in on the specifics as he was orchestrating the procedure (from the life expectancy of the anaesthesia, to the material and where it was sourced from, to the actual biology and anatomy of the tooth) - he provided me with this information without hesitation. Such a beautiful dental experience. Additionally, I am a little sensitive when I receive information too fast or in a robotic nature about my teeth, and I just informed the dental hygienist and the dentist about this; so they always educate me in a gentle way, where I can absorb the information at ease to best improve my oral health and maintain the anatomy of my teeth. Negative experience: I would give zero star for this dental clinic. Dentist are really bad at diagnosing dental pain. I had wisdom teeth pain and it was radiating. The dentist didn’t even bother to xray the whole jaw to look for the issue. He just x-ray a small section and wrongly diagnosed me. And charged me with 400$. I was in excruciating pain for five days, and confused about what is the issue. Until I went to see another GP and that GP figured out it was wisdom teeth infection by just tabbing on my teeth with wooden tongue depressor. I don’t know what is the use of such dental degree if patients have to go to GPs.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend K1 Dental Toorak. Jaclyn has been my usual dentist for over 5 years and is polite, helpful and easy to talk to & most importantly provides excellent dental care. Consequntly my teeth and dental hygiene require low maintenance.

Negative experience: I visited this dental last month. They convinced me to take out of my two molars tooth as they said that bone of the tooth was getting lost . That was the biggest mistake of my life. I was alone and i was there in the early morning ,they didn’t ask me that i had breakfast or not , they didn’t even check my blood pressure or anything. They didn’t give me any chance to ask my family about that. After they to ok out of my two teeth at same time , I nearly Died . And then Dr Alistair Yan gave me glucose. After that i was able to breath. So, be carefully everyone before going to this dental.
