Pickup Bagshaw Dental Launceston

Positive experience: The admin team were very accomodating, the dentist ( unsure who I saw- he didn’t introduce himself), a number of people came into the consult room with him- no explanation or introductions. The dentist offered a brief assessment for my child, he was unable to help or offer advice. The whole experience took less than 2 minutes. The dentist then charged a me a huge amount for the assessment. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly recommend this practice, from my first enquiry to my appointment with Dr Lisa, everything was excellent. Dr Lisa is gentle and kind, attentive and understanding. The other staff members are also great. I didn't realise service like this existed any more. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Drove all the way up from Hobart to have Dr Tony Bagshaw release my newborns tongue tie, and would do it again tomorrow. The practice found me an appointment the same day I called as the tie was impacting feeding/ causing pain. So grateful, the staff were friendly and personable, Tony himself was great and I couldn’t get over how quick the procedure was. Feeding improved immediately after the procedure. We’re just ecstatic, thank you!

Negative experience: Went in for one thing and had other things done I had to pay for without consulting me first. I was belittled and told (mansplained) I didn't need to be consulted because the dentist knows best. The dental assistant whispered to me that there is a female dentist there who is really good.

Fantastic experience: When traveling to Launceston from interstate I had the misfortune to break a front tooth. Dr Lisa was able to see me as an emergency patient. Dr Lisa went over & above in finding a solution. Her care & attention was second to none. My regular dentist was super impressed with her work. I recommend her most highly.

Fantastic experience: Super positive experience, no complaints. Receptionist and dental assistants were lovely, as was my dentist, I believe it was Dr Tony. Fantastic experience: I have had ongoing teeth issues due to medical conditions with many abcesses and removals needed and teeth added onto my denture. I've seen mainly doctor John who is the most kind hearted friendly and caring man you will meet but I have at some point seen other dentists there and I cannot fault anyone. The communication between the team is amazing everyone from the dentists to the assistants go above and beyond. My dental journey has been extremely traumatic and painful and without this amazing dentist I don't think I would of made it and most likely ended up in hospital very unwell from infections. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Pickup Bagshaw Dental! Our first experience was traumatic with my son having a painful abscess on a public holiday. They got us in asap were nothing short of amazing, caring and kind in a stressful situation for us. Dr Pickup has such a way with kids, and the receptionists are so friendly and lovely. We will definitely continue to go to this practice.
