Fantastic experience: The team is excellent. The fees a more than reasonable. They don’t try and talk you in to anything you don’t really need. The referral to specialists has been great. And easy parking. Over all I would genuinely and honestly recommend them.

I felt so cared for as a patient. Both have such soft hands handling the dental tools. With both sessions I’ve been in, the focus was “let’s get this done/fixed” for my benefit and wellbeing. Tawny at reception is a superstar. Honestly, anyone who dreads the dentist generally will change their mind the second they walk in here. Highly recommended, well priced, modern facilities and just all-round wonderful people.

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to the lovely team at Central Dental. I am a super nervous dental patient who had not been for a very long time. Dr Wei-Jin was so reassuring and explained everything to me, step by step so I knew what was happening and how long things would take. If you’re also anxious about the dentist and you’re reading reviews for reassurance, this is definitely the place to go. Tawney on the front desk was super friendly and welcoming also. A huge thumbs up from me, I was really impressed by the entire visit and the professionalism shown.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth and I had only been to one other dentist before ever, 8 years earlier, and they were now closed . I searched online late at night and found this place and I was able to make an appointment for 2 days later and I could fill out the medical details online in no time at all, saving me from doing it when I got there. I arrived to find a very modern practice and right from when I walked in the experience was seamless with great reception staff, dental nurses and dentists . The broken tooth was able to be saved and I walked out with a perfect new refurbished tooth. After this I decided to get a few other teeth fixed and I also had an awkwardly grown wisdom tooth removed as I had been putting it off for years and in the past, although I had always brushed my teeth regularly I hadn't been to see dentists in the past. Everything I had done was painless and now I feel great that my teeth are in excellent condition. Also I would say the dentist I went to somewhere else 8 years prior sent me somewhere else to get X-rays, however Central Dental Frankston has their own X-ray machines so I didn't have to go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Central Dental to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and needed to see someone asap. I rang central dental and spoke to receptionist Tawney? She advised that it was new year and booked out. I thought ok I’ll miss out. Then receptionist called me back 15 minutes later stating I have a cancellation and saw a dentist that day. I now need a root canal and the only reason I’m using this company central dental is because of the fantastic customer service and willingness to help others.

Negative experience: The other dentists are great but Nick lacks attention to detail and frankly, empathy . Sent me away in pain saying floss your teeth better and cone back in 2 weeks if it doesn’t improve. Changed dentists today as a consequence. All fixed

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic consultation. I was expecting to be told I needed a lot of work that would cost a huge amount of money however for the first time ever the dentist I saw didn’t recommend any work that wasn’t necessary but instead took X-ray, cleaned my teeth & gave me great advice regarding my dental health & didn’t want to see me again for 6 months! I was overwhelmed, not just by the care I received but by the fact that I was far from ‘ripped off’. The consult was about the best course of action for my dental care, it wasn’t about making money off me & the honesty & kindness I was shown was the best service I’ve ever received.

I understand Keely the receptionist is retiring soon having been there for many years including the previous dentist Chris Burn which is sad and she will be missed. I’ve been a patient for about 3 years and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They are professional, friendly and take such good care of my teeth. Dr Wei-Jin Tay is my dentist and he is fantastic. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for several years now. I cannot commend these two highly qualified and skilled dentists highly enough. Once or twice I have needed emergency treatment and I have been fitted in to be looked after with sympathy. These dentists are aware that their patients are often very busy people and if they are running late they have the courtesy to call and inform us about the delay thus saving us from sitting in the waiting room for ages. It was great to find them building their own rooms. It gave me confidence to know they were planning to stay in Frankston! Incidentally their surgeries are delightfully fresh with mint green chairs. Having young children themselves, they are dab hands at dealing with their younger patients.

Fantastic experience: My family of 4 has been seeing Dr Wei for a number of years. He is very thorough, runs a tight shop on schedule (only on the odd occasion do I need to wait, and only ever a short time) and he talks you through when he sees an issue. I am with HCF so get family coverage for two visits a year, so don't notice the bill from that perspective. But I am with HCF purely to fully cover the routine dentist bill. Dr Wei has done a couple of replacement fillings for me, and each time explained the why. I have been very happy with his skill and care. If you are looking for a trustworthy dentist who cares about his patients, I would strongly recommend Dr Wei. He also looks after my two boys who are now 6 and 9 and likewise have been going for a few years now. He is good with the kids allaying their initial trepidation to the point they don't kick up a fuss now when there is an appointment. (Sometimes they score a sticker or two after the appointment which they appreciate)
