Negative experience: I personally had a terrible end to end experience at this dental practise and with the dentist. I will not elaborate like I had previously done so in my review as the clinic has threatened legal proceedings at my expense because according to them my personal opinion and review may be perceived as defamatory. Edit - just to be clear my personal perception and opinion was in no way defamatory as it was exactly as I was treated and my perception of such treatment (which is exactly the point of a review) & the threat of legal proceedings was pure bullying in order to have my review and it’s details removed.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this clinic has been nothing short of amazing. They went above and beyond pre and post surgery to ensure I was feeling alright and was fully informed. The day of operation went extremely smoothly and I was looked after with utmost care. My 2nd set of implants is even going to be ready earlier than they expected. I am only a few days in, but will update this is the future - but I can't say anything less than these guys are utterly awesome and worth putting your trust in!

Fantastic experience: I got in contact with Mulgrave dental group after having a poor experience with a previous dental surgery that left me in a lot of pain. I thought I best get a second opinion and decided to come here after checking the reviews. Due to me being a big sook, I opted for sleep dentistry to have 4 teeth pulled out, a filling done and a clean. The whole procedure was flawless. Starting with the lovely ladies behind the counter taking the bookings and organising everything for me, you guys made everything so easy for me, Thank-you very much! And for the dentist and anaesthetist, absolutely perfect. Woke up perfectly fine and in no pain what’s so ever. In a perfect world I wouldn’t need to go the dentist ever again, but knowing that’s not likely, you better believe I won’t be going anywhere but Mulgrave Dental Group. They get a George Calombaris 11/10!

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t received dental care for over 10 years due to severe dental anxiety and phobia. My anxiety was so intense that I fainted on three separate occasions when attempting to see a dentist. As a nurse, I found this particularly embarrassing, but the fear was overwhelming. When I searched for dental practices that offered procedures under sedation, I came across Mulgrave Dental, and I’m so glad I did! Initially, I rescheduled my appointment twice due to crippling anxiety, but third time’s the charm. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Sonia at reception, who was warm, understanding, and incredibly patient. She answered all my questions (and there were many!) and helped put my mind at ease. Then I met Dr. Diluni Perera, who completely changed my perception of dental care. She welcomed me with the biggest smile, listened attentively to all my concerns, and took the time to explain everything she was going to do in great detail—even during the initial examination. Her gentle, calming demeanor was exactly what I needed, and for the first time, I didn’t faint in the dental chair! Since I wasn’t able to tolerate any procedures while awake, Dr. Diluni suggested completing everything under general anesthesia. I had quite a few issues with my teeth, including a rotten tooth, a missing tooth that needed replacing, multiple fillings, and a deep clean. On the day of the procedure, the entire team, including the anesthesiologist, was incredible. They made me feel safe and supported throughout the process. When I woke up, I felt completely reassured knowing everything had been taken care of, all in one session. What stood out most about Mulgrave Dental is how they validated my feelings and never made me feel like a burden. Their empathy, professionalism, and care truly went above and beyond. They even have flexible payment plans, which made the treatments much more affordable—a huge relief given the extent of my dental work. Special shoutout to Sonia and the rest of the reception team for their constant support. They followed up with me every step of the way and even called to check on me after the procedure. For someone who avoided the dentist for over a decade, the fact that I’ve already booked my next maintenance check-up speaks volumes. If you have severe dental anxiety, I highly recommend Mulgrave Dental. They’ve completely transformed my experience and given me the confidence to prioritize my oral health again.

Have had crowns successfully completed in-house in one visit. Regular cleaning visits are scheduled and reminders sent. I've never felt rushed and any concerns are taken seriously. Fantastic experience: I don’t think I have come across a dentist that was so diligent, supportive and caring. The whole team were an absolute delight to deal with. They even managed to squeeze me in for a last moment appointment and I am not an existing patient of theirs. They were very transparent with all my options available and prices for certain procedures. I live over 2 hours away from this dental practice but I think I will continue to see them in the future.

Fantastic experience: I love coming to Mulgrave Dental! I recently moved over an hour away but still prefer to come here. Everywhere else is overpriced and quoted me $300-600 for new retainers but Mulgrave Dental actually cares for patients and the price is 1/3 of that. Since i live far away they also ship my new retainers to me, still costing less than any other dentist. Thank you Mulgrave!!!
