Fantastic experience: Sherry is always on time, kind, gentle and calm. She explains everything well and doesn’t push you into things. She is very patient with children and teens with disabilities. She doesn’t charge for minor adjustments and if you are with HCF all members of the family get 2 free checkups a year, including X-rays and fluoride treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had a huge amount of irrational fear regarding getting my teeth cleaned, which is ridiculous but very real. Dr. Shahin, is my preferred practitioner as she is gentle, caring & reassuring. I have been going to MC Dental (in all its incarnations) for well over 10 years and can highly recommend the group in Brighton, Victoria. They are affiliated with Smile.com insurance so that helps with the cost and they are always willing to explain anything and assist with dental planning. A great Team!

Fantastic experience: Just moved dentists after 25 years as I wanted a dentist closer to home. I saw Dr Sherrie Shahin for just a checkup, x-ray and clean. All was fine and Dr Sherrie was very good. Everything was covered by my HCF health cover with no gap which was great unlike my previous dentist where I always paid gap fees.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I have sensitive teeth. I’ve also moved around a fair bit (lived in 4 states) so I’ve had a few dentists over the years, including some I loathed and never returned to. This was my BEST experience ever. Not only did the dentist NOT recommend unnecessary invasive procedures, she didn’t even xray one of the two teeth she treated because she could SEE the cavity. She just fixed it. She used a topical anaesthetic before putting the needle in. Quite often I’ve found that dentists still cause excruciating pain with the needle after that but I COULDN’T FEEL THE NEEDLE AT ALL. The dentist - I’ve forgotten her name, sorry - and her nurse were both professional, polite and efficient. I’m moving soon so this practice will be TWO train rides away. I think this dentist is SO GOOD I’m thinking about travelling to her regardless.
