Fantastic experience: The team at Sea Breeze are fantastic, they are very friendly and communicate every step and option really well, Dr Amyra in particular does fantastically detailed and fast work on fillings, communicates pain management well, explains the process and is very friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing is reasonable and quite flexible and they are flexible with discussing work to be done based on your budget. I would 100% recommend this practice, especially if you have been delaying a consultation because of budget or anxiety about pain/complications.

Fantastic experience: I want to sincerely thank Dr T, Amyra, and reception staff at Seabreeze Dentistry for the outstanding care I received today. After having a very upsetting and disappointing experience at another dental clinic where I felt dismissed and treated with a lack of empathy, I was truly relieved and grateful to be treated with such compassion and professionalism at Seabreeze Dentistry. Despite being a last-minute booking, the team kindly slotted me in urgently and waited for me even when I struggled to find parking in the area. I was treated with kindness, respect, and genuine concern for my wellbeing. Dr T took the time to perform a thorough examination including taking pictures and doing an X-ray, clearly explained the issue behind my pain and swelling relating to my upper wisdom tooth and prescribed appropriate antibiotics to help relieve the infection. I felt heard and supported throughout the entire appointment, something I desperately needed after the experience I’d just come from. I’m also grateful that I was able to be booked in for my wisdom tooth extraction next week, giving me a sense of relief that the issue is being properly managed. Negative experience: First time I have ever left the dentist with my teeth hurting, and that is just for a basic check up. After the check up the pretty much forced me to do a review and asked to see my phone once done. They charged me a crazy amount, more than i have ever paid and that was after private health insurance. Made me feel very awkward and forced me to make another booking when i told them clearly i did not want one. Now they consistently send me spam text messages and promotions. My original review was good (because they were watching me write it) but after being spammed for a year i have decided to update it with the real events. I would not recommend using this dentist.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (10) received the diagnosis of mouth misalignment (crossbite) last year that was affecting her smile and bite. Dr Peter assessed her and fitted her with a roof plate to be worn all the time until it was corrected. My daughter was a little apprehensive at first but Dr Peter, Katie and the Seabreeze Dentistry team were fantastic and reassuring and my daughter quickly became accustomed to her new device. Each subsequent checkup was met with friendliness and quality care. When each month passed and her teeth and jaw became more aligned, she didn't need to wear it anymore and I have offered recent feedback that her smile is looking great and her bite is not causing any issues now. However, our clinican was honest and forward enough with you to encourage you to seek a second opinion, not only so you can fairly compare prices between practices, but also give you the potential for our clinician to price match. Negative experience: I wouldn’t step foot in this dental clinic again. I had an appointment for my sons first ever dental exam, which I told them upon booking over the phone. I was met at the door by someone abruptly asking what I wanted, I stated I had an appointment for my son and she asked how I booked, I said over the phone and then she asked if I had the right dentist. I confirmed I did, she asked if I got a text message which I didn’t, then finally I was invited inside. When inside she had someone else check the computer (even though I believe she knew what had happened) and stated that the appointment was in the afternoon, I said it was for 10:15 and she said yes, it was made for 10:15 but they recorded my phone number with an additional digit so I needed to come back in the afternoon. So rude and unapologetic, I don’t know why the appointment was moved despite it being their problem, I’m glad in the end that my sons first experience at the dentist wasn’t in that environment. Love being messed around on a 37c day! Do better!

Fantastic experience: Hello, Just wanted to tell my story. About 7-8 years ago I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea (score was 9 out 10, 10 being the worst). I had the sleep test conducted as I was always tired and always going to the bathroom (every 20 minutes). I spoke to a work colleague at the time and she said I should have a sleep study to see whether I had a sleeping disorder. Anyway, I went through the process of purchasing a CPAP machine and deciding on which mask was the best fit and the most comfortable for my face. Over the 7-8 years I have now purchased 2 CPAP machines (the first one too expensive to fix) including all the accessories which are not cheap when your Private Cover does not cover CPAP accessories. So, moving forward, I moved to Melbourne recently and was in need of a Dentist for a tooth sensitivity problem. The first dental clinic I went to I ran a mile from as I felt they were not clear about the procedure they recommended. I then found a Dentist close by called SeaBreeze Dentistry near Frankston. Made the appointment and headed down there on my appointment day/time. OMG - what a difference it it to find a Dentist who I could understand in relation to my tooth and the tooth only needed minor adjusting compared to the previous Dentist who were quoting thousands of dollars to fix my tooth!! Peter at Seabreeze must have noticed on my Medical History form that I use a CPAP machine and proceeded to ask me how long have I been using the machine, do I suffer from headaches etc. I said I've been using the machine for more than 7 years. He then mentioned to me that he has invented and patented a type of "Mouthguard" which would/should work for my condition as he said it was something to do with my jaw alignment. He also said if this "mouthguard" works for me, I can stop using my CPAP machine. Of course, hearing this, I said , yes, I'll give this a go. The first night I used it, I was a bit scared because I was probably 'addicted' to the CPAP machine so I used both on the first night. The second night, I used the "Mouthguard" without the machine until abut 3am in the morning as I was again worried about not using the machine. From the 3rd night through to now and the future I have only been using the "Mouthguard". I am utterly gobsmacked that I no longer need to rely on the CPAP machine. I am extremely grateful and happy that it actually works for me. In the past, when I travel, the CPAP is cumbersome to carry and I always felt self conscious lugging this around airports. I always didn't go on long haul flights as there was never any guarantee that you would be allocated a seat on the plane to plug in your CPAP machine. I have missed out over the years on a lot of family trips because of this and I would only go on shorter flights for eg to Fiji. Now, I no longer have to worry about this. The "Mouthguard" fits in my handbag or even my pocket. Thank you so much Peter Nguyen for your fantastic invention. The rest of he country should know abut this because , I sure, there will be a hell of a lot of people out there who hate using their CPAPs for the same reasons as me. Regards, Helen VO

Fantastic experience: Lovely little dental clinic! This is the first time I felt cared for by my dental team, they take the time to make sure I'm comfortable and not in pain every time I'm there. I've also had chronic sinus issues and this is the first practice to recommend a palate expander to help, when all other dentists I've been to have either ignored this issue or not noticed my high palate at all.
