Fantastic experience: Great professional team. I had a lot of dental issues that I'd been putting off addressing, and I had some disheartening experiences at a few other clinics, which led to me neglecting my dental health rather than properly investing in it. I came to Wickham Terrace Dental a few times over a 5 year period for emergency/urgent dental treatment and quoting for my overall dental work. After shopping around, I found them to be by far the most thorough and cohesive clinic in the inner Brisbane region. Dental care isn't cheap, but it's a good investment, and I feel that my money is best invested in a clinic that upholds good practises and has long-staying staff. I saw Dr Nick Yee. Straight up he told me to get an electric toothbrush, and some floss, and told me how to use them. I've not had a dentist be this straightforward about my lapses in dental hygeine, and since implementing Dr Nick's recommendations I have demonstrable improvements in my oral health. I was anxious about drilling, the anaesthetic needle, and multiple appointments. Dr Nick explained sedated dental, and we factored it into my treatment plan. It was about $60 per session for sedated treatment, one for my upper and one for my lower jaw, $120 in total. I came in first thing in the morning and took the medication, and I put my eye mask on, a podcast on my Bluetooth buds, and my upper jaw treatment was done. Ditto for the second session for my lower jaw, which included a stumpy molar extraction and also fitting a crown to another molar. The crown is beautiful and fits my bite perfectly. Dr Nick scheduled a follow-up appointment to see how my dental work is tracking, and I'll be returning to Dr Nick and Wickham Terrace Dental for ongoing dental care. Shout out to Brie the receptionist for fitting me in around work and tolerating after the anaesthetic, and Bernadette also. The clinic wouldn't be top-tier without good receptionists.

Fantastic experience: Where to start? I had a pretty bad dentist fear that would result in panic attacks. Safe to say I avoided the dentist at all costs. I finally had enough and decided to book in with Dr. Andrew as he previously did some pretty insane reconstructive dental work for my partner. I already knew he was amazing at what he did due to his treatment with Rhys but experiencing it for yourself is something else. Gone are the days of being scared of the dentist, I now look forward to my appointments. Dr. Andrew has made a huge difference in my quality of life. I have had multiple different dental services done here including extractions, cleans, fillings and veneers. I cannot possibility put into words my gratitude for Andrew and his team. I feel so much more confident in myself thanks to this compassionate dentist and the whole practice. Truth be told I've cried many happy tears over finding a one in a million dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr Andrew Teakle and his team are truly exceptional. They provide an exemplar service, always very thorough, patient and caring. I had an emergency (a loose dental crown) that lead to, unfortunately, a complex extraction. The team kindly re-organised their workload on the day to accomodate for my, as it turned out, lengthy visit with only a few hrs notice. Dr Teakle is a specialist with an immense empathy, who is capable to build a genuine emotional connection with his patients, and provide necessarily treatments gently and effectively. The clinic offers the best possible quality dental care in Brisbane and I have no hesitation of recommending them.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience under Dr Nicholas Yee's care over the past 18 months. He is particular and takes a non invasive approach where possible, whilst still receiving a fantastic outcome. I am 33 years old, and this is the first time I have been treated by a Dentist I have felt confident in, knowing my teeth are in good hands. I could not be happier with the final result we achieved through Invisalign, nor with the care I received overall. Additionally the girls on reception, and Hayley the Dental nurse have all been incredibly lovely, each and every time I have visited. I highly recommend Dr Yee and Wickham Terrace Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have Dr Chau as my regular dentist. Chau takes great care to ensure patients aren't in any discomfort, and the fillings I've gotten have lasted and never needed a fix-up. (Wickham Terrace also will photograph your teeth, which ensures that you aren't being overserviced). Of the dentists I have had in my life, I've been the most relaxed with Chau. In my opinion this is an underrated quality for dentists, as patients might feel uncomfortable or even stressed/anxious on their visit. Would recommend Chau and Wickham Terrace to anyone

I live in the Solomon Islands and it is naturally a struggle to find any dental availability on my short notice work visits through Brisbane, Australia. Fantastic experience: Prior to visiting Wickham Dental I'd gone to someone who had carried out a filling of a decayed tooth and suggested 6 new fillings. The filling was done horribly and was causing me excruciating pain. I saw Dr. Dr Nicholas Yee, he told me there were some issues with the existing filling and that if I improved my oral health, I wouldn't need to get those additional fillings. He not only fixed my bad filling but saved me from getting additional fillings and I was able to retain my natural teeth. He ensured I understood the processes of good oral health and gave me a little run down of basic biology on healthy teeth. He's also got a TV on the roof that's Netflix friendly! The pricing is also very affordable and not overpriced.

Fantastic experience: A chipped molar that had root canal surgery and filling done a few years ago was causing me pain for a few weeks. I didn't have access to my usual dentist overseas, but I needed to deal with the issue, so I reluctantly started searching for a new dentist. My research led to Wickham Terrace Dental and Dr Andrew Teakle. Fortunately, I was able to book an appointment to go in for a consultation relatively early. As soon as I arrived for my appointment, the overall atmosphere, organisation, cleanliness and professionalism of the clinic put me at ease. When I met Dr Andrew, he was warm and friendly, which is always a big plus. During the appointment, he clearly and confidently took me through the issue and the options, and I was lucky enough that he had availability to perform my preferred longer-term solution (a crown) on the same day. What really helped was that this clinic is the whole package, they had all the equipment and machinery from x-rays to designing and making the crowns right there, reducing turnaround time. The whole thing was done in a couple of hours, and it was easily one of my best dentist experiences. During the whole time I felt like I was in good hands, and I am super happy with the result and a new crown that feels great! Thanks Andrew!

Fantastic experience: Cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from all of the staff from Wickham Terrace Dental (in particular Dr Chau and assistant Briannan)! From the moment I walked in staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and more than happy to answer any questions I had to ensure I was completely comfortable. Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing! I will never go to another dentistry EVER! I walked into Wickham Terrace Dental with a big dilemma of possibly loosing a few of my front teeth. My old bridge was never fitted properly causing my teeth to rot. The staff knew how nervous I was and made me feel at ease and were so welcoming. Other dentists suggested that I have a few teeth removed. Dr Nic, didn’t hesitate in giving me a plan . He explained everything and listened while I explained what I wanted. Mine was a complex case however, being the perfectionist that he is, has resulted in a lovely set of straight front teeth of which I’ve always dreamed of ! Fantastic experience: After having an extremely terrible toothache, I googled "emergency dentists brisbane" the first one to come up was Wickham Terrace Dental. I was so nervous, in alot of pain, and I had no idea what to expect. As soon as I arrived I was taken care of immediatley, the reception staff are so lovely and caring and you barely have to wait before a dentist is ready to see you. Then I met Doctor Nick, the most genuine caring and gentle dentist I have EVER had. He talks you through every step of the way, always makes sure you are comfortable and not in too much pain. He checks with you throughout the appointment and truly has so much respect for you as a patient and person. I even get a blanket and netflix while getting procedures done. I could not reccommend this dentist more, and the cherry on top is that they offer payment plans over a certain amount which is beyond helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this practice. They are friendly, accommodating, answered all my questions and most importantly gave me much confidence with their experience and competence.

They were able to fit me in at short notice before the lockdowns hit which was going out of their way to help. Highly recommend these guys. Nick is currently doing a root canal for me and when he found it needed extra work refused to add to the cost. Everyone there is kind and so helpful. It's why I keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: My visit at Wickham Terrace Dental was amazing. I've been going to a local dentist for a few years now and I have never gotten the service and caring professionalism and experience I did today. I saw Dr. Chau about my front teeth which have been slowly chipping away and I just wanted to get a second opinion about my available options and any recommendations the doctor had. Dr Chau was thorough with her analysis on my front teeth and she explained it in a way that which was easy to understand and presented me with a few options on what I can do to improve my teeth and also her recommendations as to what she would do if it was her teeth. She explained my options and their respective process and which options were less destructive so that I can maintain my original teeth for much longer and I was more than happy with what was recommended as I never got that same service (and support) from where I usually go. I feel that she's genuinely caring about her patients and her work and I'm very comfortable having her in charge of what I need done to my teeth. I'm excited to get my teeth looking great again and I'm keen to come back for future check ups. I just wish I came here 5 years ago when all the problems started. Come and see Dr. Chau, she will take care of you I promise. Also, I'd like to say thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk who helped me find my way to the dental practice. Fantastic experience: I seemed to spend most of 2020 travelling backwards and forwards from a country town to Wickham Terrace Dental. I had a dental implant and root canal with crown, both completed by the fabulous Dr Nicholas Yee. The reason I was willing to travel three hours each way for an appointment is that this is the best dental practice I have ever visited. All staff - dentists, receptionists, hygienists and dental assistants - are professional, cheerful and genuinely caring in their work. Dr Yee takes great pride in his work and communicates clearly each step of the way. Equipment and materials used are state-of-the-art and this shows in the quality of workmanship. Dr Yee even detected that my tooth would need a root canal rather than a normal filling - something my previous dentist had missed. Due to the fact that I could only attend on particular days, reception staff had to juggle schedules in order to put teams together, especially for implant procedures. All my appointments began exactly on time and one was even earlier because another client had been delayed. In summary, Wickham Terrace Dental is a high-end practice with a down-to-earth approach and reasonable costs.

I have been twice now and have had the best experiences with Dr Chau Tang. She is so kind and so understanding of any fears and questions! Her work is precise and perfect. Fantastic experience: I attended Wickham Tce Dental today for my second appointment. With minutes to spare,due to heavy rain delays, the two lovely, smiling receptionists made me feel very welcome and gave me time to catch my breath. Andrew was already for me and we settled in for repairs/replacement of a broken crown. I have been going to W T D (and Andrew) for over 7 years --would not go anywhere else for my prized smile upkeep. As always Andrew was smiling, gentle and just so professional and the hour or so in the chair passed quickly, painlessly and with lots of laughs, due to comedy programs Andrew put on TV .. Lots of people make jokes about the "Pain " of a dentist visit being HIP POCKET---not so at W T D --- the charges are commensurate with the quality of work, attention and care given. I think Google allow 5 stars for reviews I wish I could give a TEN !! Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dentist I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot in Brisbane. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist and have found that dentists are either not professional enough, not welcoming enough or sometimes too welcoming in a fake way. But Dr Chau nails it! Super professional and genuinely nice, everyone there makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Andrew for some years and always feel greeted like an old friend. As someone who used to really fear going to the dentist he has always made me feel that I am in very safe hands. Fantastic experience: No 1. Top dentist. I have been to many dentists and I am so impressed with the care, knowledge, ethics, cost and overall atmosphere which was very calm. I had been quite anxious due to having had some very stressful experiences with dentists Andrew Teakle was very honest and clear about what I did or didn't need. Dr Teakle resolved a food trap chronic tooth ache issue that the previous 4 dentists I went to could t. Dr Nick also just completed a Crown recently, his attention to detail and knowledge are 2 very noticeable attributes. You can feel safe in knowing you can trust his skill. Pom did an incredible job glazing my crown to glassy smoothness.

Positive experience: My daughter was very anxious about the appointment with the dentist. But experts in the dental clinic spent a lot of time trying to calm her down and explained her about the procedure. The staff was very helpful and kind. The doctor is a thorough professional and has a modern facility to care for all the patient’s needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chau is a fantastic professional and I truly recommend her. I have always had problems in my gums, and in my upper teeth. Going to the dentist was always a synonym of great pain, discomfort and problematic diagnosis. When I started to make my treatments with Dr Chau, it was the first time in my life that I did not feel any pain or discomfort. She is very delicate and very professional, and she will always provide detailed feedback of the dental problems in order to explore different possible options. She pretty much saved me a tooth from a root canal while I was relaxing and listening to piano music. A fantastic professional that I truly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was previously told I required crowns and a bridge at another dentist. I attended Wickham terrace dental to have these done as their prices were good, and Nick informed me that was not necessary, that filling repairs would fix the problem. That alone would be enough to give him 5 stars, for the saved money, and saved hassle of maintaining crowns and bridges the rest of my life. But while there he also fixed all my 15 year old fillings. And was able to build my front upper teeth, to create an amazing perfect smile. All in one day. And all for less than the crowns would cost. The service and skill was beyond what I thought possible. Fantastic experience: After my last dentist wanted to yank my perfectly good tooth - I changed to this practice based on the fact that they Botox injections into your jaw for grinding and also they offer payment plans. I have now had all my dental work completed - mostly because my last dentist was useless and didn’t do a good job. These guys are fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They all have equipment on site which makes scans, OPG’s and making of crowns so much easier. My dentist always ensures I understand everything that will be done along with any x-rays or photos of my teeth. I cannot speak highly of this practice. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I have had several procedures over the last few months here, including a root canal and crown, two temporary crowns and several fillings, performed by Dr Nicholas Yee. I have also had a clean with hygienist Sophia. All of the procedures have been pain free and I am very happy with the quality of the work, as well as with the friendliness and professionalism of both Nick and Sophia and all of the other staff I have dealt with at this practice. The environment is also very clean and modern and I have found the costs to be very reasonable. I am very glad that I found Wickham Terrace Dental and will be returning next year to get my two permanent crowns.
