I've had some bad teeth for some time now and never felt comfortable at other dental clinics to get anything done about them. Just before Christmas I seen Dr. Haydar Wassouf for the first time and from the get go was super gentle and welcoming making me feel super comfortable in the chair! was super informative of the plan of action we had with the bad teeth. Then today I had two extractions done with Dr. Haydar Wassouf and again so comforting and making sure I was as comfortable as possible the entire time even while I'm shaking in his chair! Honestly couldn't recommend a dentist higher and I cant see myself going anywhere else!

Negative experience: My experience at Aqua Smiles was a mess . Booking was missed up . Waiting another hour for booking to Dr. Lillian Liu whoveas recommended by work from a friend . After seeing her with my daughter and xray . Can't do anything else then specialist was to to refered . But lvasking to do routine work know on my daughter. I just got shot down by Can't do anything know. For 8 minute consultation xray for $103.00 is a rip off . I don't recommend them at all .

Negative experience: I had an appointment for tooth extraction 2 weeks ago at Aqua Smiles Dental and had my tooth extracted with a long extraction time. I straight away got the feeling that something wasn't right. And I was right, a second tooth next to the one getting extracted was cracked during the procedure. Eventually I had to get the cracked one extracted too a couple of days later. Since the day of first extraction, I have remained in extreme pain and taking pain killers regularly, whether day or night. I just got examined by my GP yesterday and she put me on antibiotics as the wound was still raw even after 2 weeks of extraction. I hope i get relief in coming days. My story is just for those people who might be thinking of getting any extraction done in future to choose wisely.

Negative experience: Bad customer experience. Waited on the phone for more than 10mins for someone to answer. I wanted to see if there were any appointments to see someone today for an emergency extraction. The least they could do is say they are currently busy at the moment and to call back later instead of answering the phone and responding with “ can you hold “ and not coming back to touch base or update what’s happening !! Hung up the phone so I won’t be using their service . Receptionist needs to be trained better.

Fantastic experience: Dr Haydar is our family dentist. My kids adore him. He knows the trick with the kids which is a bonus. I like the way that he treats his patients with extra care when performing treatment.

Positive experience: Amazing customer service, it couldn’t be better. The clean, and whitening was great, however, I had an unfortunate experience receiving composite bonding for my front four teeth. I had a total of 5 appointments having to go back due to chipping/breakage. The first appointment I left with my teeth feeling rough to touch and ever since, food sticks to them when I eat. Despite the wonderful service, I regret my treatment and truly wish I researched more about composite bonding and clinics that specialise in it. It’s a shame that I spent the money, only to have to seek further treatment elsewhere.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience for me. There mobile website showed $99 for dental scale and clean and when booked the session they asked for $190. I showed the website on my phone but was informed that as they can’t see it on the webpage they can’t do anything. Wasted my time and really disappointing customer service. Update: Yes, no services were performed and that is the whole point here. What I was getting on my phone is between you and developer to resolve, which resulted in wasting my time on that specific day. That is the reason I have given 1 star to customer service and not the treatment.

Negative experience: My wife has been attending this clinic and we are about to make this clinic our family dentist clinic. Recently, my wife wanted to get braces. When we asked the dentist about any good orthodontist, the dentist immediately recommend their dentist who is trained in braces (but not an orthodontist). We decided to use them until a friend of ours recommended seeing another orthodontist to get ideas for the prices. What we didn't know is that we needed a referral if we want to see an orthodontist. We call a few days later to ask for a referral letter and they want to see my wife and wanted to charge $51. I told them that my wife just saw the dentist 2 days ago, but the dentist insists to see us and wanted to charge us $51. Suffice to say, this clinic will not be our family clinic anymore. We are lucky to escape a money-grabbing clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Aqua Smiles twice in the last few weeks. I suffer from bad dental anxiety and have struggled with seeing a dentist for many years as it always felt difficult to get work done at a dental clinic due to bad past experiences and memories. However after getting an initial scale/clean and check up done by Dr Margaret Nguyen and her assistant who are absolutely fantastic. They had great techniques to keep me calm, relaxed and focused at all times and made the experiences a more positive one than my past ones. All staff from receptionist to Dentist and Dental Assistant are so knowledgeable, welcoming and make you feel relaxed the whole time. Both of my experiences were pretty much painless and it has helped give me more confidence in my teeth and smile and make me want to keep my teeth in great shape. My biggest fear was the local anesthetic process, I dreaded it and worked myself up for it but they have great techniques to make you feel free from the fear. I cant thank Dr Margaret Nguyen and her team enough for all their support, advice, care and helping me to be free from my dental anxiety. Highly recommend anyone who is scared of all or parts of dental procedures to go to Aqua Smiles, it has changed my life and I am so greatful. Thank you to Aqua Smiles and wishing all the staff and clinic a wonderful future ahead and your business keep prospering. ☺️

Fantastic experience: Dr Mimi was amazing with her treatment. Had to undergo a surgery as my root canal crown broke and the way she performed it was amazing. As soon as I entered she explained the pre-steps and post steps..was very precise with tools she used for 1hr 45min. Would definitely recommend the clinic. Also, Dr Jullian who initially examined my teeth condition was also wonderful.

Negative experience: I was impressed by two of the dentists on their site, deciding this would be my new dentist, having just moved here. I was told that both dentists are "not taking any more patients". WHY advertise these dentists? To use thier good name/credentials to bring customers to thier other dentist? False advertising. Not un-common with practitioners to do this. We are not sheep!

I have seen some of the best dentists & orthidontists in Melbourne, and Dr. Haydar is right up there with the best. He was very professional, informative, clear, and considerate. They definitely are great and amazing. Reception was friendly and welcoming! Probably the first dental/medical professionals practice I've ever been to actually welcomed you as a client. Julian was great; I felt i was in capable hands from the get go; he knew what he was doing; he knew what I wanted and just bing bam boom done in 20minutes. All in all 5/5 for everything. From the moment you step in with reception to the moment you step out everything was catered. Tuesday 16/03/21.

Fantastic experience: I used to be terrified of dentists that I would never go.But this place and dr cherry have made me feel so comfortable and I'm no longer scared and am now working on fixing my teeth . I had a complicated tooth extraction two weeks ago with dr cherry ahead was so amazing I had no pain after the surgery I didn't even need pain killers. Also everyone is so nice and friendly and make you feel really comfortable. I'm so glad I found this place.

Negative experience: Customer service sucked! The lady at the reception was actually fine but the dentist with the name Mimi wasn't great. I saw her a year ago to check up my teeth. I wasn't about to rate at all or say anything until I came across it again here on google and saw only positive comments. So I had to rate before people are mislead like me because I did the dame thing, before I went to them, I checked the review and rating and when I saw all the positive feedback I thought they are good but they were not.

I live in Seabrook and there are many practices closer by, but I will continue to travel that bit further because I know I am being looked after here. Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend! Dr Julian and the staff were very welcoming and made it easier for a first timer attending a dentist in Australia. Everything was explained perfectly and made me more aware of what to do next and how to take care of my dental hygiene. The staff was very professional and made sure I felt comfortable from the time I walked in, untiIl i left. Would definitely be going back again and will be recommending it to all of my friends who are looking for great dentist here in Melbourne.
