Fantastic experience: Can’t we all just agree we HATE the dentist. I’m not sorry. BUT if you’ve gotta do it (you do), do it here. I’ve been going to Dental on Clarendon for two years and it’s honestly the best out there. Fantastic customer service from the admin staff, they make it SO EASY to like them. I’ve had a couple cleans by Hayley and Kimia and they have both top notch. I had some deep fillings completed by Laith and Maddi recently. Needles are the worst and I have quite the fear, but these two made me feel so comfortable and calm, and put me completely at ease. I didn’t feel it at all. Professional, cool, calm and collected. Easy and happy experience (yes, really!). And finally, I’ve really enjoyed their members program (for those of us without private health) such a good deal!!!!! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I have had bad dental experiences most of my life. I started going to Dental on Claredon 6 months ago and knew I required major work. I hit the Lotto when I made an appointment with Alex. She was the kindest and most supportive dentist I have ever had. She even let me squeeze her hand through the hard parts. My teeth are now amazing and I cannot recommend her and all the staff enough. Evelyn you are so accommodating with appointments. Thanks to all.

Positive experience: Nice, modern dental practice with very up to date technology (crowns made on sitting minutes) and nice friendly ppl. And great collab with Medibank Private means a couple of free check-ups a year!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this clinic for the past year, and despite traveling over 1.5 hours to get here, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their service is truly second to none. I can’t fault them at all and can’t thank the team enough! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Tas at the front desk—so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Hayley, who does my cleans, is always kind, funny, and reassuring throughout the entire treatment. Dr. Laith, my dentist, is incredibly thorough and understanding, especially if you’re someone who gets a bit nervous at the dentist. He always does an amazing job. Maddi, the dental assistant, was fantastic—not only was she excellent at her job, but she also held my hand and comforted me throughout the whole treatment. Everyone here is fantastic. I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I've had 2 crowns installed here and been a patient for many years. Though I've moved away from the area, I still travel 1.5 hours each way. Thats how much I trust the service, and I really struggle with dentists. They have the fancy tooth printing machine too for same-day crown installs. My most recent work (yesterday) was for a new crown, Dr Laith Matlub was simply brilliant - someone I hadn't used before. Helped me through some extensive work, talked through everything, always positive. The result is exceptional - I'm really happy with the whole experience. Special callout for Adnan - give that man a raise. Adnan performed some cleaning for me a couple of years ago. He single-handedly changed how I felt about dentistry - so calm - so fun - such great work. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am not a great patient, however I had to have a filling here and the dentist, dental assistant and reception staff are all wonderful. The dentist was very quick but gentle. I really appreciate their care and patience. The clinic is nice and the location has a lot of 2hr free parking nearby also.

Fantastic experience: My whole experience with Dental On Clarence has been top notch. I was kept informed of what I was required to do, what was to be done, the constant asking if I was ok whilst in the chair and the care and concern for my wellbeing by the staff on the day having recently undergone major surgery prior to my visit. I also appreciated the follow up welfare call the next day. I thank Dr Paul for taking the time to listen and explain the options. I would rate his chair side manner and professionalism as 5 star (at my age I have experienced quite a few dentists). If asked, I would recommend this practice without question.

Fantastic experience: I moved out of the area a couple of years ago and couldn't find a dentistry team as great as the one at Dental On Clarendon. Hayley, my dental hygienist, took my clean to the next level. Solette, used to be my go to but she's not there as much any more, and the wonderful admin team recommended Hayley. Ian, my dentist, is always lovely and has looked after me very well for the past few years; and I've never ever felt that I'm funding his next holiday or new property! Fantastic experience: For many people, a visit to the dentist can be somewhat anxiety provoking. So, when I first took my children to Dental on Clarendon, it was with some trepidation. But my fears were quickly proven to be unfounded, as my kids were made to feel comfortable and relaxed, watching cartoons on the ceiling screen as their teeth were being cleaned! As each one was handed the dental equivalent of a ‘show bag’ as we left the clinic, my kids only wanted to know one thing – when do we get to come back?! Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth Tuesday night, rang DonC Wed am, was offered a slot for that arvo but preferred a 10am Thu booking. Paul did a fantastic job with assessment, prep work and crown print and fit, all on the same day over 2 sessions within 2 'chair' hours (10-11am & 1-2pm) - brilliant!

Dr Paul is an exceptional dentist (we're a little biased, we admit it he he) but our clinic is equipped with the latest and greatest in digital dentistry - so we're fortuante enough to offer same day crowns, along with other services such as same day sports mouthguard, retainers etc. And hopefully as you would have found out, the procedure is far more comfortable with digital scanning, rather than old fashioned 'dental impressions' etc. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback, its always a pleasure for us to see wonderful patients like yourself leave satisfied and smiling again! Fantastic experience: What an exceptional dental clinic!! It's super-modern, high-tech and sparkling clean, with amazing staff - easily the best dental clinic I've ever attended. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, from my dentist (Paul Keong) and dental nurse (Erik) to the practice manager (Brandon) and billing person (David). The dentists are all highly trained, and the practice has lots of the best modern tech (e.g. onsite digital cameras and 3D scanning) - which means I can get all my dental work done at the one place, saving myself the need to see a range of specialists. The dentist was punctual to the minute, and the whole place seemed to run with perfect efficiency. One unusual aspect of the visit was that Paul provided a detailed written quote for future treatment, and Brandon then gave me very comprehensive advice on pricing and health fund refunds (which was information I'd never ever heard of before). I am SO glad I switched to this dental practice, after many years at a large, impersonal dental practice in the Melbourne CBD. Overall, I cannot fault this practice and am so glad I made the switch.

Fantastic experience: I've just shifted to Dental on Clarendon following less than satisfactory work completed by my dentist who I've been going to for more than a decade. From the moment I walked into Dental on Clarendon, I knew this practice was highly professional and would provide exceptional dental care. Subsequent visits have proven to this to be true. Fantastic experience: I hate the dentist; I have mass anxiety about going plus adhd and autism, I would literally rather be anywhere else. However this has been such an easy and friendly experience. The whole team has been amazing, they have all helped me throughout my visits and kept me at ease. They are so friendly, super helpful and everyone has explained everything in detail to me before doing anything. I can’t thank them enough for the last 2 days, I have very much appreciated them! Fantastic experience: I came to Dental on Clarendon after an expensive and disappointing appointment at another Melbourne dental clinic and my experience has been nothing short of incredible. Brandon on reception went above and beyond to explain health insurance cover to me on multiple occasions which has helped me to get the work done I’ve been putting off for years, at a fraction of the cost I’ve been quoted elsewhere. I saw Fiona who helped me to understand why composite veneers were the best choice for me and I am absolutely in love with my new smile. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience seeing Dr Bal who could not have been better and fixed the issue I had with my teeth perfectly. All of the staff at this clinic were so friendly and courteous, they even called to do a follow-up and make sure I was happy with everything and I appreciated that. Negative experience: I have attached this clinic , because I had nerve issues. I was told with my hcf insurance there is no out of pocket fee which wasn't the case. I have sent all the documents to reception before I attended to this clinic all the previous xrays and extra. My issue was that I have waited long time to get this booking and when it comes to my appointment, dr was unaware of my issue and previous documents was given to reception so that is 7 minutes for dentist to find it and read it and check on me and when it comes to the point he wanted to solve my problems and do the filling for me he was told by reception you are running behind even though I have booked long session with possible filling and got there early morning to manage my constant nerve pain. 3 times was pushed by reception staff you are running behind which as a nurse I didn't like that behavior. And at the end they charged me for the time Dr was finding my report with no treatment. Despite all the good reviews about this dentist place I will not attend this clinic anymore and will not recommend the level of care was given to me and plus the fee that was unfair.
Hello Hanieh, it’s been quite a long time since we've seen you.
Ive reached out to you to discuss this review as we believe it’s highly likely you've confused us with another clinic you might have seen.
But as you’ve failed to return our calls or emails, I write this note for readers of this review and say;
CONSIDER THIS REVIEW DIRECTED TO THE WRONG CLINIC because the events noted do NOT correlate in any way with the appointment Hanieh had with us.
Hanieh had multiple offers for earlier appointment and she declined them so we make no apology for the wait time elected before seeing us.
We also have the email trail evidence that Hanieh only provided details/documents from other clinics on the day of the appointment.
Any inference from Hanieh of unfair fees by us is quite frankly absurd - we provided an EXTENDED consultation.
It is factually incorrect that our nurses told the doctor he was running late - the Manager was present during the consultation in order to provide high level care seeing Hanieh had come to us with existing nerve problems and had already taken up considerable time of ours in calls, before even getting to the consultation stage.
We have made multiple requests to Hanieh to return our calls/emails, none of which have been answered - further proving our commitment to resolve grievances, but clearly not Hanieh’s intentions.
We at Dental on Clarendon always work with patients to fulfil their dental needs. We are proud to say all our 5 star reviews are genuine and it is evident this review doesnt match up with the endorsement of our services by so many others. We do not treat our patients unfairly and our fees are guided by the Private Health Insurer so we remain disappointed that Hanieh has, for her own unknown reasons, chosen not to work with us or take on board the treatment plan that we recommended to assist her with her nerve pain issues. We sincerely hope she finds a clinic that can resolve it for her seeing she had chosen not to work with us.
