Negative experience: I wasn't impressed with Dr Lilly and I won't be returning. I have deep periodontal pockets and she said one needed a filling..that's not correct procedure at all.. she didn't have a cohesive plan as to how to treat my issues, wasn't clear, the technician tried to explain to her what I meant at one point as she tried to sell me on the metal partials over the valplast that I specifically wanted, I didnt have enough faith in her to allow her to even do a clean as she stated that I wasn't in pain which was an assumption, an incorrect one, I am going elsewhere, am relieved I didnt let her do anything.. this consult was a waste of time and money and ultimately just frustrating. I want an older Australian dentist not a young woman with unclear English.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with My Family Dental. The male patient of the family says he couldn't even feel the needle go in. I phoned the day before and explained he had a cracked wisdom tooth. They fitted him in the next day. Dr Lilly and staff answered all our questions and we left very happy with the outcome. Fantastic experience: I had a piece of my tooth crack off on the weekend and as I have other medical conditions was concerned about infections getting into the root of my tooth. The dental surgery got me in first appointment this morning. I could not believe how soon this happened and the care and treatment I received from Dr Lily and staff. I got a temporary filling which she did with so much care and gentleness. I now have to return to have a crown fitted for long term effect. After this morning I have no worries in returning. Fantastic experience: Had Dr Lily today. She was fantastic gave me a complete breakdown of what is needing to be completed. Told me what she would recommend. Walked me through my X-ray and then also completed work. Was more affordable then I was initially expecting. Highly professional practice and was gentle when competing work so would be excellent for children. I am actually excited to go back and get the next lot of work done. Now looking at getting the rest of the family seen too. Thank you to the team at My Family Dental I left as one happy customer.

My fear of dentists has not gone away and never will but the staff at this facility handled a 56yo crying during a procedure with great care and empathy. I felt giving a 5 star review would indicate a love of dentistry and dental procedures. Never! I will return and that is 5 star review enough.

I like that I receive a text to remind me of my appointment too. Dr Nay removed my wisdom tooth while I sat in the chair and he was so gentle… I couldn’t believe it was out! Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Nay to have my wisdom teeth removed. He sat and spoke to me about my options beforehand & when it was time to proceed, he was so gentle I was surprised every time he told me a tooth had been successfully removed. I especially appreciated the constant communication throughout the process. Their level of care is phenomenal. 1000% worth the 8 hour return drive from Longreach & I will be back for future checkups!
