Positive experience: I have been attending Heidelberg Dentist for a long time. Overall, I've received wonderful advice. I have dental anxiety, and sensory difficulties when it comes to the dentist, which results in avoidance. To take a 4.9 rating to a 5 - I recommend Heidelberg Dentist receive professional development training on how to provide person-centred care if someone is evidently having a panic attack in the chair, which I did during my last appointment with them. As a practitioner myself, person-centred care the most important factor in providing gold standard care. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ayesha and her team have been amazing from the first visit. Best dentist I have been to. She has always been collaborative and caring and keeps me informed every step of the way. She has fixed my sleep apnoae and made my old teeth look so much better without judgement. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: First appointment dentist found I needed fillings. I then re booked however found out I was pregnant. Severe morning sickness for MONTHS and high risk. Once I was better I came back to get some fillings done. He got quite upset with me. Mate wasn’t a priority I’m vomiting daily and higher risk. My teeth were not a priority my unborn child was. Clearly doesn’t have kids. He said I urgently needed them done. We then moved interstate and went to a dentist to get my teeth looked at. She said there are no concerns with my teeth. No need for the other fillings.

Fantastic experience: I felt comfortable from my very first visit. This is exactly what I needed since I hadn't been to see a dentist for years and I knew I had a lot of work to be completed. Dr Arun and his staff were professional and I always felt that I was in safe hands and their focus.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here for her first dentist visit, and Dr Ayesha Tiwary could not have been more accomodating. She was friendly, warm and made my daughter feel comfortable during a potentially-stressful event. She was efficient, knowledgable, gave clear instructions and even sent a follow-up email summarising the consult. I left the consult with a clear path forward, and my daughter left the consult asking when we can go back to see Dr Ayesha (it helped that my daughter received a special dental gift back of goodies). I highly recommend Dr Ayesha for anyone needing a dentist, and especially for kids who may be fearful of the dentist.

Negative experience: I visited the dental clinic and informed them that I wanted to undergo X-rays and then receive a comprehensive treatment plan. I explained that my government would cover the entire cost in one payment once I received the treatment plan and X-rays. However, the receptionist, who was wearing glasses, rudely insisted that I pay for the X-rays immediately. Her unprofessional attitude was unacceptable, leading me to take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Update 2024: Just wanted to say that I was really happy with Emily's treatment. She fixed my tooth in no time at all. I left looking amazing and was extremely happy with the result. So professional yet caring and nice. Will definitely book with her again. Another win for Heidelberg Dentist! Had unbearable wisdom teeth pain keeping me up all night. Desperately searched for a dentist on my phone at 3am and just had to book with Heidelberg Dentist based on the ridiculous amount of good reviews. I was sceptical at first, but was impressed when Olivia called me to get more details of my pain. She was really easy to talk to and went above and beyond to organise an X-ray referral and make me feel welcome. Dr Ayesha treated me and she was wonderful too, explained everything and fixed me up in no time! What a relief. Finally a dentist I can trust. so I will definitely be coming back. I can confirm that the critics are right! Everything you read in the reviews is true! Nuff said.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Heidelberg dentist since march 2022 and have had to undergo extensive dental treatment ranging from the removal of mercury fillings,fillings,crowns and an extraction that will be replaced with a dental implant. From the very beginning one thing was clear to me, this practice was very welcoming,warm,friendly and very professional. From the moment i walked in and was greeted by Olivia i felt comfortable.She was very clear, friendly and very good at her job. In fact all the front staff have been very helpful. My dentist Dr. Arun is incredibly good at his craft. His standard of dentistry is exemplary and i couldn't be happier with the results. She gave me the time and space to detail my medical history and how local anaesthetic is less effective for me. She developed a collaborative treatment plan with me, ensured that I have agency in determining whether I am numbed enough for work to commence, and encourages me to let her know if anything gets too much. She has been non-judgemental, very inclusive, and takes the time to explain what she's doing and why. Olivia at Reception is a gem and always makes me feel welcome. Fantastic experience: I have recently had a tooth extraction and implant procedure done by Dr. Arun. It was painless and easy. Dr. Arun and all of the staff at Heidelberg dental are friendly, caring and informative. They were very good about ensuring I was kept well informed of the process and any decisions I needed to make. They were also price conscious and kept me informed of rough pricing as we went, which helped with decision making. I have previously had old fillings replaced with Crowns by Dr. Prabha, and received the same level of care and service. I will continue to see Dr. Arun and couldn’t recommend him more.

Fantastic experience: We have had one of the most caring experiences visiting Heidelberg Dentist. My 5yr old daughter had one of her big baby tooth removed and they were fantastic. They were soothing, calm and it relaxed my daughter enough for them to get the tooth removed. They gave her stickers and a mini lego afterwards and it helped keep the discomfort at bay. I recommend their practice as we have had a very trusting and caring experience.

Fantastic experience: This dental practice is absolutely amazing. The staff are so professional, informative and friendly. Their methods and equipment are up to date, modern and impressive. From the moment I spoke with Olivia ( receptionist ) on the phone to book an initial appointment, I was impressed by her friendly manner and her knowledge about the treatment I was seeking. My appointment with Ayesha the dentist was exceptional. She explained the proposed treatment in detail and put me at ease about the upcoming process regarding an occlusal mouth splint. Su ,the dental hygienist was thorough and gentle in her technique. My teeth felt so clean after her treatment. I was very pleased. She also took X-rays and scans of my teeth in preparation for my mouth splint. It was so pleasant not to have the awful experience of having terrible tasting model material put in my mouth to get a model of my teeth and bite. Much more up to date and less invasive to have a scan done! I am so happy I found this place. I thoroughly recommend it!

Negative experience: Inappropriately recommended invisalign. Despite taking x-rays failed to address a retained canine first. Lucky we got a second opinion.

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience here for my TMJ, soo if your after TMJ services I suggest somewhere else. My reasons are they have very little knowledge & exp in my opinion. To all the money I paid and the length of the treatment which was roughly 1.5 years with hardly any results. I went somewhere else and it was all fixed in 3-4 months. Don't waste your time and money for the TMJ services.

Negative experience: Was treated very poorly after I received the incorrect appointment time from reception. After racing to the clinic to get there asap, I waited a further 20mins, which was okay, I understand there are people before me. However, whilst in the waiting room, I hear Dr Arun loudly complaining about me, by name, to fellow staff. When I called prior to my appointment, I was told by reception to still attend, not to reschedule, and then I get treated with unprofessionalism and disrespect? No thank you. When attending previous appointments I was always kept waiting with 15+ min waits, every time. Now I am not shown the same courtesy when I received incorrect information? I’ve also experienced judgement from another dentist when I explained I would not be able to afford an additional dental device that would not be covered under private health. For a clinic whose brand is all about “caring for their patients”, I definitely did not receive such treatment.

I didn't know where to turn and met with Prabha who was kind, understanding and most importantly, so knowledgeable in the area. We came up with a treatment plan that has helped me progress so far from where I was (which was in constant pain). Prabha was available to me even after hours and I am so thankful that I found her to help with my treatment. Couldn't recommend any more!

Fantastic experience: Every team member does a professional job. They managed to fit me in at a busy time when a major crown had come off and urgently needed to be refi rd. Did a good job of determining why, managed to make suitable repairs, set a time to see if the much more extensive works would be needed, but did it very well so it was not needed immediately. All done rapidly and effectively with excellent communication

Fantastic experience: This is the first dentist I've been back to more than once because they have really friendly and helpful staff. Dr Caitlyn is fantastic and makes even those who dont like the dentist feel comfortable and Olivia at the front desk is fantastic.

He is highly skilled and takes time to explain everything he does. I have found the right dentist for me and have been back several times even though i hate going to the denist.
