Fantastic experience: I highly recommend DentalCare Clinics to absolutely everyone, particularly anyone who has a child who might have a fear of the dentist or any anxiety around medical procedures. My daughter was very scared and reluctant to have three baby teeth removed recently. Dr Anna and her team were incredibly supportive, calm and patient with her. My daughter is extremely anxious with any medical procedures and everyone at DentalCare was so lovely and took so much time to go through the entire process in detail. The actual procedure was so smooth and my daughter felt safe with Anna as a trusting relationship had been formed. Kids with anxiety need to feel connected and safe, and these guys are the best.

The dentists here are super gentle when cleaning, I used to dread going to the dentist but dentists here take a lot of care and make sure you’re comfortable at all times. They also explain everything very clearly. I’ve been coming here for 2+ years now, would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience having all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Colm (1 erupted, 1 partially erupted, and 2 impacted). The procedure went smoothly and my post-op pain was minimal and very well managed. A week later, I contacted the clinic with some concerns and they were able to see me the same day. Dr. Colm took the time to take a look and reassured me that everything was healing perfectly. I'm very happy with the care I received and grateful I waited to find a dentist I felt confident in.

Fantastic experience: I had an implant procedure, treated by Dr Liam McElvanna. I must say, at first, I was slightly concerned, not knowing anything of this procedure but the way it was explained to me by Dr McElvanna, made my experience not only painless but I felt completely at ease.

Fantastic experience: I love Stanmore DentalCare. Patrick has been brilliant for many years, his skills with children are wonderful and all my girls love to see him. He has had to pull out a tooth for one of my daughters and she still loves to see him - just to prove how nice he must be. In recent visits we have seen the other dentists and they have been just as nice. Also they are always on time (amazing) and the office staff are great too. Highly recommend and recommend you switch to Medibank - 2 yearly check ups included. So handy if your kids are at Stanmore.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for over 2 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. They have a great team of clinicians who have always been able to accommodate my needs, whether it's a routine check-up or a more complex issue. I was first treated by Dr. Liam, who is an excellent dentist. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to me in detail. I felt very comfortable with him and knew that I was in good hands. After I had my teeth cleaned by Noor who was really gentle and thorough with my cleans. I decided to get my crooked front teeth fixed. Dr. Joao is an orthodontist who is very experienced in treating complex cases. He did an amazing job with my teeth and I couldn't be happier with the results. Recently, I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Colm. I was very nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Colm was very reassuring and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I was happy to find out that I didn't experience any side effects after the surgery. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a high-quality dental experience. The staff is excellent, the doctors are experienced and skilled, and the facilities are clean and modern.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Evie for a check-up and clean and she was honestly amazing. Super thorough, professional but also super easy to talk to. The staff were all lovely too. A shoutout to Annabel at the front desk and Ari the dental assistant, they're such gems! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a dentist.

In that time, I’ve seen Anna, Katarina, and Elisha and I have been nothing but satisfied with the professionalism of the dentists and hygienists here. They communicate procedures and what they involve very clearly and make sure you understand exactly what’s about to take place. They go out of their way to ensure that patients are comfortable and have been very accommodating of my schedule when I’ve had to make near last minute rescheduling. I was particularly anxious about the risk of nerve damage, but he took the time to clearly explain the risks and put me at ease. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery has involved minimal swelling and pain. His team has also been consistently proactive in checking in with me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Colm and his team to anyone considering wisdom teeth removal.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a mouthguard made and fitted with Oral Health Therapist Noor. My entire life my retainers have never fit me properly causing gum irritation and issues sleeping comfortably at night. Noor is the first clinician who was able to provide a mouth guard which fits comfortably and securely, protects my gums and teeth and holds orthodontic work in place effectively. I am very grateful to be able to have this opportunity, as she took me through every step and made the process quick and easy.

Fantastic experience: Dr Colm recently pulled out one of my wisdom teeth, I had been in pain for a few days and he showed a lot of kindness and empathy as well as a gentle approach. He explained how he was going to do the procedure step by step and was reassuring throughout. The whole experience including the healing process went really well and I am usually very nervous about the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer/patient for several years. Just had implant surgery. The whole procedure was explained in detail prior to the day of surgery. In the end it was straight forward and zero pain medication was needed after the operation. I highly recommend Dr Liam and the rest of his staff for any and all dental concerns.

Both Drs took their time explaining my status and providing me options, explaining everything a long the way. Fantastic experience: I recently selected Dental Care Stanmore, as they were listed as a Medibank provider. I was impressed by the thorough checks and the way Dr Anna took photos and showed me my teeth (not just x-rays) and the issues which needed fixing, along with the options and potential risks. They made the process of fillings and a crown as comfortable/simple as possible.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here getting my wisdom teeth removed with Dr Colm. The practice was happy to share my scans with me so I could get a second opinion before committing, and diligent with responding to any questions or issues I had. During recovery I had very little pain and no issues which I think is testament to the quality of work done. I have already been recommending friends to get their dental work done here too!

Fantastic experience: I know it’s unusual to see this many 5-star reviews for a dental clinic, but I felt compelled to share how good Dr Liam and the whole team at Dental Care Clinics in Stanmore are!. I’ve had nearly every procedure possible—extractions, implants, a sinus lift, aligners, and fixing a chipped tooth—and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr. Liam has been an incredible support throughout the journey. I hate going to the dentist (who doesn’t?), but he’s calmed my anxiety, has amazing attention to detail (you simply can’t tell I’ve got implants as the color match is so good), and has been upfront about the costs, which haven’t deviated. He has explained everything to me thoughtfully and patiently, and every procedure has been pain-free. I recently moved to the Southern Highlands, but I definitely won’t be changing dentists now that I’ve found one so fantastic.

After a previous bad experience with another dentist, where my filling was done incorrectly not once, but twice, I was understandably apprehensive about seeking dental care again. Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly to the way this clinic manages children's appts. Anna had to remove one of my 9yo son's baby teeth and both her and the nurse were so nurturing, gently and lovely with him. They made what could have been a scary process (for both of us!) a breeze. Fantastic experience: I honestly could not recommend DentalCare Clinics at Stanmore and Dr. Liam more. I recently had to undergo a root canal and crown and after hearing a million and one horror stories, I was petrified. Dr. Liam took to the time to explain everything to me, easing my nerves throughout and at no point, both during the procedures or when recovering, did I experience any pain at all.

Fantastic experience: I have had consistently amazing experiences from the team at this clinic. All of the consultations I've had, fillings I've had done and recently getting my wisdom teeth out, have been completely pain free and stress-free. As someone who used to dread going to the dentist, changing to this clinic is the best thing I've done. When I got my fillings done I had enough local anaesthesia so I felt no pain, just pressure. Recently getting my wisdom teeth removed, while the procedure was done under sedation, I don't remember any of it and have had the ideal recovery (essentially no swelling, very minimal pain). I've recommended this clinic to a few other people who have all had positive experiences and will continue to recommend them. Thank you team!

Fantastic experience: So pleased with the care and attention that I received at the Stanmore clinic. As an interstate visitor to the area for a brief period, I was highly relieved when the clinic was able to fit me in for an emergency appointment. The staff at the clinic were extremely welcoming from the moment I arrived, Marcus was a very reassuring presence at reception. Dr Anna and her assistant were equally reassuring and I was kept informed and was asked for feedback in relation to pain throughout. The process of identifying the problem was very thorough, pinpointing the problem very accurately. The procedure itself was entirely pain free, with Anna explaining what she was doing at every stage. This clinic provided amongst the highest level of care and professionalism that I have ever experienced at a dentist, and I would recommend this clinic and Dr Anna to anyone. Thank you all for your kindness and diligent care.

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant initially when Dr Liam Mcelvanna informed me I should contemplate veneers during a consultation. I immediately pictured enormous white glowing teeth and a somewhat fake smile. However I couldn't be happier with the final outcome and my teeth look 100% natural and how they looked 20 something years ago. Dr Liam is very personable and talked me through every step, not once did anything about the process “hurt”, and I couldn't recommend him and the staff involved any higher.

Fantastic experience: You’re in very safe hands here! Over the last 18 months, Dr Liam has expertly guided me through an extraction, alignment and implant journey. I was a little apprehensive about the implant, but the procedure went very smoothly and the pain was minimal (much less painful than having wisdom teeth taken out!). Dr Liam’s care and attention to detail is unmatched. He explains everything super clearly and you can tell he genuinely cares about doing the right thing for your individual circumstances. To top it all off, the reception staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Highly, highly recommend this practice !

Negative experience: I had the worst experience with their receptionist on 3rd May 2024. He was rude, inconsiderate, and inflexible. My appointment was at 350pm, and it was supposed to be a 6 min appointment just to make sure my new retainers fit well. It was pouring heavily, and the traffic was bad. I left home with enough time, but the traffic was worse than before and was outside of my control. When I was 8 min away from the clinics, I got a call from the receptionist at 355pm asking if I was still coming. I told him yes and said I would be late due to heavy traffic so he could put the patient after me first. He told me that was what he was planning to do, but I would have to wait 1.5 hours for the next appointment. As I was there to just pick up the retainers, which cost $600 (on the high end), I asked if I could simply pick up these retainers. I was informed this was not possible and that I needed a dentist present. I was told I either needed to wait 1.5 hours or reschedule with a cancellation fee attached $75. He basically left me with no other option. It is unreasonable to expect someone to wait 1.5 hours for a 13- minute delay outside of their control. This is not the only bad experience with DentalCare Clinics. Previously during a wisdom tooth extraction they told me they would call me to follow-up for a question that I asked, to which they never did. There is no shortage of dentists in Australia, with many young dentists having to distinguish themselves through marketing and quality of service. Due to these poor experiences, I cannot recommend anyone attend DentalCare Clinics.

Fantastic experience: Like many, going to the dentist is not something I look forward to, so when I have a positive experience it tends to come as a surprise. My kids and I have been going to Stanmore Dental Clinics for a few years and it’s always smooth from booking the appointments, to the treatments and payment. Special shout out to Marcus and Dr Anna who really looked after me at a recent visit, but the whole the team is great, patient and kind.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a crown done by Dr. Liam and it went extremely well. He managed to save enough of my tooth to avoid a root canal and I was able to have the crown made at the surgery before it was inserted on the same day. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend dental care clinics, especially Liam. I had an extremely complex case in which Liam had to fix a botched root canal from 20+ years ago along with numerous other problems that had been simmering over a long period of time. With Liam, I had multiple procedures performed over 1.5 years. Can’t praise highly enough the mastery of his work, how detailed he is, the quality of materials and tools used, his high sense of responsibility and personal care. Even when he went on holidays he made sure I was well taken care of and laid out each and every step in detail to eliminate any anxieties I had. He was also super patient from the outset and answered all my probably very silly questions. I am super happy with the results. I also had my teeth cleaned which was also very detailed, unfortunately I don’t remember that dentist’s name. Another shoutout has to go to the friendly ladies at the front counter.

Fantastic experience: The staff at DentalCare Stanmore are fantastic, we always receive a warm welcome from the front desk team especially Markus. Our family attends the clinic and Kelly (Dentist) looks after our kids - ages 4 and 5 year old. She is great with kids. I highly recommend families to use DentalCare Stanmore.

Fantastic experience: Did my wisdom tooth removal, all 4, under IV sedation. No pain, don't really remember the procedure thanks to the sedation, but it went very well. Also did a checkup and clean here too under Medibank private member's choice. Super smooth procedure, no nerve damage even though they said there was a risk of it because of proximity. Pricing was very transparent and told me about the whole cost which ended up being less than what was quoted which is even better! Also lots of after care calling to check up on how healing has gone. One thing I have to suggest is to mention that stitches were or weren't used, since I had stitches in my gums that I hadn't been informed about and was slightly surprised by, but after a week they fell out on their own without any pain. Fantastic experience: I am a new client, and I found this clinic as was situated close to my home. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The dentist was very professional and explained clearly what procedures were to be undertaken. This small clinic has a surprising extent of modern dental equipment to enable more services to be undertaken in house.

Patrick is an absolute weapon on the tools, pain free, friendly, great advice, and feeling fresher than ever. To top it off, the renovation is neat, warm, aesthetically modern and welcoming, supported by their great administration team at the front! Like a good hairdresser, never turn your back on a good dentist!

The staff are very friendly and courteous - and from start to finish I was taken care of exceptionally well by the members of the team here. Fantastic experience: I love the new shop it’s soo nice and spacious. Also the tv on the ceiling such a good idea, made it more relaxing while I was getting my clean done! Kellie was amazing!!! My teeth feel and look 10/10 after that clean, plus she was soo friendly and answered all my random questions.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist experience I’ve ever had. The front of house team were very friendly and informative. Dr Liam was extremely professional, I went in for a check up and they provided me with a treatment plan outlining all prices and what needs to be done. This included fillings and a tooth extraction. I’ve never been comfortable at the dentist but during my appointment for fillings with Dr Liam, I fell asleep half way through and didn’t feel a thing the entire time or afterwards, I then went in the next week for a tooth extraction performed by Dr Liam, I was scared as I’ve never had a tooth pulled out, but again I did not feel a thing and there was no pain the following day. My teeth have never felt better, highly recommend this place if you are worried about going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my wisdom teeth removed with Dr Colm and had a great experience. The procedure was explained clearly to me and I felt no pain throughout. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, made the whole experience great. I received a follow up call to see how my healing was going and to see if I had any questions. Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Liam at Stanmore clinic for over 12 months, monthly visits for clear Invisilign aligners. He is absolutely fantastic. The level of care is so high and my teeth are almost straight for the first time as a 50 yo woman!!! Don't fall for those online cheap options. You need a professional orthodontist who will attach invisible micro clips to your teeth for the aligners to grip to. And then at certain points he will do some micro filing to create space for the teeth to move. Seriously, it's the only way to get the best results. No pain. Lovely team and super professional. I'll be sad to stop my regular visits .

Positive experience: I was referred to Dr Liam McElvanna after having a tooth extracted. He presented various options available to me and I decided to go with a dental implant. While the solution is not inexpensive, the process has been smooth and surprisingly pain-free. I'm looking forward to a long-term solution that won't require replacement anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: Recently I made an appointment with Stanmore Dental Care for the first time. Like many others I had terrible traumatic experiences with dentists as a child and young adult. I was assured that Dr Liam McElvanna would look after me. If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would My appointment was a long one and quite involved. At no time did I feel pain or anxiety. I was completely relaxed and Liam was so gentle and reassuring. I felt no pain afterwards at home and have only wonderful reports. A huge Thankyou to the team as well. Fantastic experience: I did a tooth replacement and aligners with Dental Care Stanmore. Along with that had aligners and bonding on my front tooth. The whole process took time but had amazing results. There was no pain or any after effects everything was smooth and Dr Liam gave good instructions on what is the process and what happens next. Most notable feature is I was a ease and started snoozing :)

Fantastic experience: After 9 years of avoiding the dentist (because of bad experiences) I booked into DentalCare for a check up and deep clean. I was so happy with the multi modal consult (xrays, photos, jaw and bite assessment) followed with a highly detailed explanation of what I'm doing well and what needs to be tended to which was articulated in a way where it was so easy to understand by Dr Liam. This was then followed by the most satisfying clean my teeth have ever had! The before and after photos were amazing to see and I don't feel any pain after the clean, in love with my pearly white smile. I felt so at ease with the level of care and professionalism from not only my dentist Dr Liam but also his whole team, you can definitely tell they are very experienced and collaborate seamlessly together. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dental Care at Stanmore. I recently had 2 crowns done by Liam McElvanna, and the procedure was painless and completed within 3 hours. A topical anaesthetic was applied to numb the area around the tooth before giving the injections, so I could hardly feel the injections. After the tooth had been prepped, I only had to wait an hour for the crown to be created before it was bonded on to the tooth. The crown has the same profile as my old tooth, so I can't feel any difference. There has been no post procedure sensitivity or pain. The whole experience has been very positive.

Fantastic experience: After some really awful dental experiences (at other dental clinics) a long time ago, I spent years avoiding the dentist. It took severe tooth pain for me to be able to summon the courage to go From the consult and through all the treatments (to be expected after avoiding the dentist for so long...) everything was so much more comfortable than I thought it could be. I let them know I was really anxious coming, and they made me feel relaxed and confident throughout. After a root canal, crown, fillings and wisdom teeth extraction this year I can honestly say the only/most painful moment was some of the music in one of the playlists. Firstly I was found the concerns I was having for years were not looked after by my previous dentist which was very disheartening, but with 2 specialised sessions my gums are back on track. My whole family have made the move and we cannot be happier and cannot recommend enough the team at DentalCare Clinics, especially Patrick Westhoff who is fantastic and is great with kids. Fantastic experience: Most detailed check up and explanation of findings. I have had fillings with and without anaesthetic with no pain. My crown was finished and applied in a short time with no problems for me. Highly recommend Dental Care especially if you are a bit nervous like me.

Fantastic experience: CARING & ATTENTION TO DETAIL A+ After an accident that resulted in losing most of a front tooth and struggling with an insurance company to get it fixed properly, Dr Liam McElvanna pushed strongly for what was necessary to rectify the tooth situation. Whilst it took a little while to get things approved, the end result I couldn’t be happier with. Both Dr Liam McElvanna and his dental nurse Nicole were great throughout my 4 month procedure of an initial temporary crown, a series of plastic aligners to straighten teeth, and the final fitting of a ceramic crown. Through out the whole experience, pain and discomfort was kept to and absolute minimum (and that was only due to the aligners). When something did go wrong (my fault), Dr McElvanna went above and beyond to fix it quickly without hesitation. After a many, many months of not being able to happily smile, I can’t stop show of my new smile. Thank you Dr McElvanna and DentalCare Clinics.

Fantastic experience: Dr Liam McElvanna was fantastic. I really dread going to the dentist, and had put it off for 3 years. There was a section related to dental anxiety on the form you fill in when you arrive. Liam and his dental nurse Nicole were really attentive sensitive to this, and upheld their credo of treating patients as though they were family, as well as being the gentle dentists. They're also a Medibank Members Choice Advantage clinic, so Medibank Extras members get 2 free check-ups with them a year. Not to mention, the 3 fillings I had were pretty much pain-free, inclusive of anaesthetic needle. When I was provided a treatment plan, I wasn't pushed into anything, but the options were communicated to me clearly. I'm super grateful to Dr. Liam for his warm rapport and professionalism.
