Fantastic experience: Absolutely 5 stars! The clinic is spotless, the staff are knowledgeable and professional, and Dr Josephine Ha is simply the best. She genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and well looked after. She always takes the time to clearly explain every procedure so you understand exactly what you need and what’s about to happen, which really helps put you at ease. An extra nice touch is the TV screen on the ceiling. Being able to relax and watch Netflix while getting your teeth done makes the whole experience so much easier. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed several dental treatments including two fillings, a crown, and cosmetic work to fix my front teeth. I also had a night guard moulded and fitted and it is awesome! Tthe entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. I can feel anxious about dental visits, and I was incredibly grateful for the warmth, professionalism, and care shown by the whole team. Every interraction was handled with a level of attentiveness and expertise that immediately put me at ease. Dr Sophie Brown is an outstanding dentist; meticulous, gentle, and genuinely committed to patient comfort and outcomes. She explained each procedure clearly and made sure I felt informed and supported throughout. She is very clear. Her skill and precision, particularly with the cosmetic work on my front teeth, exceeded my expectations and left me feeling very happy. I also want to thank Aoife, the dental assistant, whose calming presence and efficiency made each visit run smoothly. Her ability to anticipate what was needed and her kind reassurance during procedures did not go unnoticed. Equally impressive was the administrative side of the clinic. Shannyn at the front desk was superb; organised, welcoming, and proactive in managing appointments and follow-up care. I received clear communication and even follow-up calls to check on my recovery, which I deeply appreciated. Administration aspects of my file with insurance was excellent as well. This is a team that truly works in harmony to deliver outstanding care. They even have a morning briefing and talk through the days cases. Talk about professional I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate dental treatment. If I could give 10 stars I would. ✨

Fantastic experience: I had a number of fillings and later got Invisalign and permanent retainers with Dr Sophie, and had a great experience throughout. Sophie and her team are so lovely and helpful, and it was such a smooth experience and I was really pleased with my results! I always appreciate the little touch of having headphones and Netflix on the tv above the chair, which made the appointments feel so quick and painless. The receptionist Shannyn is also very friendly

She’s incredibly thorough and always takes the time to explain what she’s found during your checkup, along with tips on how to improve dental habits. You can really tell she cares and wants the best for you. Also, Shannyn at reception is the best. She’s so friendly and always up for a chat while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel way more personal (and way less clinical than most places). I really appreciate the follow-up texts after your appointment too. It’s a really thoughtful touch and shows how much they care about how you’re doing post appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lauren and her team are the most thorough dentists I’ve ever been to. They have kindest, most welcoming atmosphere where you feel like you’re being genuinely cared for. No question is too silly and they take the time to explain what they’re doing (if you want it), otherwise they give you headphones and can watch anything you want. I moved here from the US so had to find a new dentist and can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sophie has the warmest manner of any dentist I've ever been to (and I have been to a LOT). She listens carefully to your issues and is very clear in explaining the options, including what the costs will be. State of the art equipment. With recent remedial work she also laid out some potential adverse outcomes, which fortunately did not eventuate, but I really appreciated her honesty. I also took my teenage daughter there for her first visit to a dentist in years. She was anxious beforehand but Dr Sophie completely put her at ease. Shout out to the welcoming and helpful Shannon at reception also.

Fantastic experience: Had my wisdom teeth and a number of fillings done here, everything was perfect. Dr Lauren, Shannyon and the rest of the team here were very friendly, professional and upfront about treatment and costs. I was quiet nervous as it had been a while since going to the dentist, but I was reassured and relaxed from the first visit, would reccomend to anyone!

I'm on an extended vacation from the U.S. and I broke a filling last week, there was no way i could live with a massive hole in my molar for another 2 weeks..eeek! I was devastated because im honestly pretty anxious about the dentist in general, especially a new one! I picked Surry Hills Dental based on the reviews here and just hoped for the best. Talk about a lucky find! Dr. Jo "just call me Jo", is a rockstar doctor and a total gem. I spoke to Shannyn at the front desk in the afternoon and they had me in for an appointment the following morning. From the moment i walked in and met Dr. Jo & Asst. Aoife I felt comfortable and cared for. Jo walked me through the whole process and ensured that i was feeling calm. They even offered noise canceling headphones with my choice of Netflix show (I chose the ocean documentary) The work was quick, painless, and most importantly impeccably well-done. To add to the amazing experience, when i realized my Invisalign retainer felt "off" later that night, i called back and the team insisted that I come back to investigate. Upon returning next day Jo quickly sorted out the issue, and with a little painless buffing she had my Invisalign fitting perfectly again. Totally above and beyond as I neglected to bring it in for the initial appointment! I even got some lovely restaurant recommendations from Shannyn at the front desk, full service indeed. Although i dont live in Sydney I will forever recommend Surry Hills Dental to all my Aussie friends and if I need dental care any time I return I wouldn't dare look anywhere else. Fantastic experience: I’m feel so lucky to have found this dental practice. Dr. Jo is easily the most professional, thorough, and patient dentist I’ve ever been treated by. She took incredible care of me when a pre-existing crown (from a previous dentist) fell out while I was eating. She took time to thoroughly assess whether the existing crown was still fit for use, and patiently explained all of the pros and cons of reattaching the existing crown versus being fitted for a new crown. I felt reassured throughout my entire journey with Dr. Jo. The admin team is incredible as well. They’re professional, and prompt with replies and following up on each visit. Fantastic experience: I moved so I needed a new dentist and found this place online. All the staff are super friendly and professional. They always text me in the days after my appointment to check how my teeth are feeling, ask if i have any questions/concerns, and respond very quickly. My dentist sophie brown is very thorough and has offered some great tips to help keep my teeth strong and healthy. Only dentist I've been to that has a tv on the ceiling with headphone to watch Netflix while the dentist works. Absolutely amazing! I referred my parents as well and they're loving it.

Dr Sophie took excellent care of me through several filling fix ups and a crown this year and always attended to me with the utmost thought and care. She is friendly, clear and most importantly efficient with her time. As someone who can get quite anxious with dental procedures, I was amazed with how comfortable and calm Dr Sophie and her assistant made me feel during my multiple visits over the past month. Dr Sophie is so compassionate and well articulated, explaining complicated procedures in simple ways and answering all my concerns. During the procedures, she ensured that I experienced minimal discomfort and checked in on me often. Shannyn at reception is also so lovely and helpful, providing a positive experience from when I enter the centre to when I leave. Even after my procedures, I was checked in on multiple times to confirm my wellbeing. Fantastic experience: I found this place when I needed a broken filling fixed. I got an appointment the next day and have been back multiple times since. I avoided going to the dentist for years due to bad past experiences but the staff here are friendly and non judgmental and go at my pace. The follow up is excellent as well. If you are a nervous patient like me you’ll appreciate the tv on the ceiling and you can watch the show of your choice with headphones on during the procedures. I highly recommend this dentist and Dr Sophie.

I attended Surry Hills Dental Centre for extraction of my wisdom tooth and my treatment was exceptional from start to finish. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Surry Hills Dental Centre since early this year, and my experience has been great so far! My first visit was a dental emergency, which was treated amazingly by Dr Arushi who paid extra care throughout the whole process in making sure I wouldn’t feel any pain during the treatment. Even after the visit and the numbness disappeared, I didn’t feel any soreness. Following that I have been cared for by Dr Sophie, who has been doing wonderful work with my teeth fillings and cleaning, as well as providing personalised advices as preventative measures. Shoutout to the front desk team as well, especially Shannyn who is always considerate and happy to help. Visits to this clinic have been pleasant overall, added with the free Netflix shows during treatments to the clean and cozy atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I started going to see Dr Jo after a traumatic infection after wisdom teeth surgery. Dr Jo reassured me and calmed all my anxieties with her in depth treatment and calm demeanor. It has now been 3 years of being a client at Surry Hills Dental Centre and the level of care and personability has not changed! Fantastic experience: After moving to Surry Hills, it was not easy to pick a new dentist because there are a few around. Fortunately I made the right decision and decided to book an appointment with Dr Ha. I've gone to the dentist all my life as I am a big believer in preventative dentistry. The 5 stars are for - comprehensive examinations - both dentists will take the time to explain to you what they are doing and provide education. I have never felt rushed. - appointments are on time! Staff will let you know if they are running early or late. I personally haven't received this level of communication from other medical services such as GPs and other dentists. From my experience, they consider late to be even just 10 minutes. - the service from administration staff are impeccable. They are always super lovely and happy to help. - online booking system! Perfect for those who don't want to call up and make an appointment. & bonus is that the space does not look like a sterile clinical space. If you're looking for a change or a new dentist, hopefully this review has helped.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at the Surry Hills Dental Centre and highly recommend it. I had my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 at once) by Dr. Jo about two weeks ago. I could not be happier with the procedure. Dr. Jo took time to explain everything to me in details, and answer any questions I might have. I felt 100% safe and relaxed about the surgery. I opted for IV sedation so I don’t remember anything about the procedure. I had no bruising and minimal swelling afterwards (that lasted only about 3-4 days max), and was given painkillers so had no pain whatsoever. Everything went great. I have seen Dr. Aarushi before as well for check-ups/cleaning and she is always very gentle and thorough.

I recently attended for a wisdom tooth removal and was immediately put at ease by the friendly, welcoming receptionist, the kind and attentive dental assistants, and of course by Dr Jo herself! Dr Jo explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions both before and afterwards. The experience was really comfortable too, with the opportunity to watch Netflix using noise cancelling headphones throughout. The follow-up care has also been excellent. I could not recommend the team at Surry Hills Dental Centre enough!

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to, and they’ve done an incredible job on general check ups and cleaning through to Invisalign. Highly recommend them! The added bonus is you can comfortably watch Netflix whilst they work away. The only hard part of any visit is choosing what to watch.

Fantastic experience: When I came here I needed to get root canal treatment and the entire process was handled brilliantly. The staff were so helpful, friendly and informative about the process. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or worried about the procedure at all because as soon as I got into it the chair I was informed and reassured about everything. I was then given some headphones to sit back and relax with while I watched some Netflix as the treatment went underway. The best dentist I have ever been to (and I’ve been to a fair few at this stage)

Fantastic experience: After visiting numerous dentists over the years, I now won't go anywhere else but to Dr Jo and her team. Following a dental injury, Dr Jo immediately put me at ease and was incredibly thorough and experienced in her assessment and general clean. Dr Jo did a full digital scan of my teeth to fit me a mouthguard and provide holistic care for future visits. Rebecca at the front desk is an absolute gem, so welcoming, kind and always up for a chat. I highly recommend, as I now look forward to my regular dental check ups!

Fantastic experience: Dr Josephine Ha and her team are so delightful. This was my best experience at any Dentist and that's saying a lot, my Grandpa was one! Beautifully decorated, warm atmosphere, amazing customer service and such clear descriptions of treatment plans. I feel very looked after and even got to watch Netflix. Not going anywhere else from now on!

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment with Dr Josephine, never knew I could love the dentist but here we are! The tv on the roof was an added bonus. Just recommend putting on something that’s not black mirror because you’ll forget to keep your mouth open. Their tech was also super slay, I got to see my teeth in 3D which was cool as well as informative. Dr Jo was an incredible dentist! I’d do anything that woman advised! She told be to get an electric toothbrush… you bet I walked my lil butt to chemist warehouse right there and then and got an electric toothbrush. Gotta make Dr Josephine proud! Also side note, reception was so sweet! We had a very cute convo! Felt like I was besties with everyone, 20/10 experience yall!

Fantastic experience: I have great experience here. The doctors not only checks througfully, but also explain clearly to me. They are very knowledgeable. Because of them I figured out finally a small mystery on one of my teeth, and could also change my brushing habit to be more healthy.
