Fantastic experience: I saw Jakob Hearn this morning. He was so thorough, so careful and so unhurried. But what I liked best was his ability and willingness to explain the options available for what will doubtless be a pricey procedure due to my own neglect - not his judgement, my judgement. I am very grateful for the care and the referral to an endodontist. I’d also like to mention the young woman at reception (whose name I’ve forgotten.) When I rang to make an emergency appointment she was so thoughtful and caring. I found the whole experience this morning very professional. Thank you all. Chris Degan

Fantastic experience: Ive never felt comfortable at a dentist’s office until now. The whole team is friendly and welcoming Sonia explains things clearly, listen to my concerns, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients, not just getting the job done. Trisha as an assistant couldn’t ask for better support in there making me calm and relaxed. Great service and a really positive atmosphere. I actually don’t dread going to the dentist anymore! Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Amazing teeth clean. I can’t fault the professional work & care done. BUT……. You’re got to stop the push, push, push for constant X-rays every time I go there. I booked in for a clean then comes the hard sell for an X-ray then the dentist comes into check my teeth, I didn’t ask for a teeth check, (extra charge) take photos & try & convince me I need fillings replaced or better still a crown. No! Stop! I asked for a teeth clean nothing more. I’m helping raise two grandkids & I’m embarrassingly broke. I have booked for another teeth clean for January ‘26 but I’ll more than likely cancel as can’t stand the hard sell anymore.

His calm, kind manner and clear explanations instantly helped reduce my anxiety. He never rushes, always listens, and genuinely cares about your comfort and wellbeing. It’s rare to find a dentist who combines exceptional skill with such a compassionate, reassuring approach. I can’t recommend Dr. Hearn highly enough—especially if you’re someone who struggles with dental fear. He’s a game-changer.

Negative experience: Since they keep emailing me bugging me for a review: $360 cap on tooth shattered after two days, not even while eating. Staff friendly but when they told me after the procedure to avoid eating apples I knew I'd wasted my money.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Ms Tammy Brunet on and off for many years. Initially when she first came to Dr Peter Happ's practice at Riding Place when my children were small boys - more than 30yrs ago I think. Tammy has been fabulous for me. Always kind and realistic but at least (more) as important very thorough and skilled. The dental surgeons have changed and I miss my old pals, Peter Happ, Mark Spencer, Ken wendon, but Tammy is the amazing constant, keeping me on track as much as I can be. A few years ago I was living in Sydney and seeing a well accredited dentist upper North Shore but she didn't have a dental technician and I fully realised how lucky we are with Tammy! I have never had any problems from any procedure I've had. Can highly recommend the friendly Team at Coffs Dental.

Negative experience: My partner snapped his front crown and got a filling to replace it. The new tooth is about 3mm shorter than the rest. The dentist tried filing the surrounding teeth down but couldn't meet it. Will have to get it redone properly somewhere else. Waste of $500.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly receptionist and helpful dentist - Dr Lee. Had a minor ‘ emergency’ while on holiday and had no problem getting g an appointment. Slight delay from scheduled time but being on holiday it didn’t matter.

Fantastic experience: I was never a fan of going to the dentist, but had to make a last minute appointment due to pain from wisdom teeth and was blown away but the amazing staff here. Everyone was friendly and professional and Dr Lee was absolutely amazing, made me feel comfortable and not nervous during the appointment. Will be coming back! Patient comfort is a top priority; family friendly professional dental practitioners & staff are meticulous, confident & trustworthy. Since 2018 my dental health needs are cared for at Coffs Coast Dental & Facial with great results & follow-up. I recommend the dentistry & dental hygiene services that have been provided by this practice. On the rare occasion that my appointment was delayed, a complimentary cup tea at the cafe was provided.

Fantastic experience: The work I had done with a clean, scale and polish was excellent and capped off with fluoride treatment completed the treatment. Only thing I was totally against was when I went to pay using an inserted debit card they added a surcharge which I am sure can only be applied to tap and go. The girl wouldn’t remove it so I will bring cash next time.

He took the time to do a thorough job of every step of the treatment and I did not feel uncomfortable at any stage. His explanation of the condition of my teeth and reasons for things was outstanding. The dental assistant also was great. Her use of the suction was excellent that at no time did i feel I was gagging. I am definitely returning for future appointments.

Fantastic experience: I have bad anxiety regarding dentists. It's hard for me to sit and wait in the waiting, I just want to vomit and flee. This was my first time at Coffs Coast Dental, and believe me, when I say, I was scared to death. But, once I told Dr. Lee about my anxiety problem and how it affects my ability to breath properly, he was amazing, he spoke gently and kindly helping me to relax, he took photos so I could see what he meant when he explained to me what need to be done. But best of all he would stop and check to see if I was breathing and did I need to take a breath. I now know what dentals needs I have and how much it is going to cost, as he provided a quote. I would highly recommend Coffs Coast Dental and all the friendly, helpful staff. Thank you

Negative experience: Not an overly successful or enjoyable experience. Many attempts to contact and rectify the issue caused from procedure with no immediate outcome from dentist or practice.

Fantastic experience: To visit this Dental facility is a pleasure not a dreaded visit. The office/receptionists... Dakoda and Penelope are top shelf ambassadors for this business. Dr Andrew Molloy, the dentist is one in a million and of whom you should be very proud. His assistant Trisha is very polite and caring with excellent support to the Doctor. Coffs Coast Dental is a business our city can be thankful for. AAAAA
