Fantastic experience: Strongly recommend Dr.Yu-Yu. He’s the most professional dentist I have ever seen. He’s very patient with senior patients. Always look after us like his own parents. His assistant Irma is very kind and supportive. They work together like a perfect team. Dr. Yuyu has looked after my daughter since COVID. Even my daughter said both of them are excellent.

Fantastic experience: My entire family have been with Dr. Yu-Yu Chien and Irma for years. Irma is very patient and thoughtful. She looks after my parents like her family. Irma treats us very gently. She always provides 5-star service for me and my family. Dr. Yu-yu has an eye on detail. He removed all of my wisdom teeth without pain. I couldn’t even feel the pain on the next day. He does excellent work on my parents’ teeth too. They’re perfect working mates. I strongly recommend them.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the treatment I received from Adam Alford at Bupa Dental Brisbane. Since my braces treatment ended last year, the permanent retainers on both my top and bottom teeth have detached due to a misaligned bite. This is in spite of years of treatment: first invisalign, then metal braces, then invisalign again. The treatment itself was punctuated by mistake after mistake by Adam Alford. He would ‘forget’ to reuse existing attachments when he submitted new invisalign scans and have to file off existing attachments and add new ones. One of my lower front teeth descended too far and he ‘fixed’ it by filing my bottom row of teeth unevenly. These are just a few examples. Do yourself a favour and stay away from Bupa Dental Brisbane, and particularly Adam Alford.

Positive experience: 5 stars to Hygienist Deepa – Her cleaning is the best I’ve ever had! Even with my braces on, my teeth were spotless after the session. It truly felt like every penny was well spent! Highly recommend her if you have braces and want a 100% satisfying clean. 4 stars to the clinic overall – The clinic looks quite old and isn’t very inviting. There’s also a noticeable odor. It would really benefit from an update to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for patients—especially given the premium members are paying. Improving the space would definitely enhance the overall customer experience.

My previous dentist had even suggested replacing a filling because of the stain I had, but it turns out I didn’t need it at all. My teeth look so much better now, and without any extra cost. Fantastic experience: Dr Murray is hands down the best dentist around. I had 5 fillings in one sitting this morning and barely felt a thing. All other staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this practise enough.

Negative experience: I booked a clean recently with bupa dental as it’s no out of pocket for members . I had been before and saw another dentist - and he was fantastic - he wasn’t available on the day I was free .i have a phobia of dentists and I always mention this on arrival . The dentist (female) was really rough when she was cleaning - the machine she was using was uncomfortable enough but then she was hacking away at my teeth with the scraper really forcefully. I had to stop her before doing the final scraping of the back of my front teeth as it was too much. When we were done she unceremoniously dropped me back at reception so I think she was irritated at my nervousness (I do have really sensitive teeth so it’s very uncomfortable anyway) and she walked away without saying anything . That night it felt like my teeth had shifted as my bite felt different somehow . Then .. 2 days later .. my only crown fell out. Coincidence ??? I don’t think so . So now I’ve had to get that whole tooth removed and will have to replace it with costly implant. I have to say that was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve had - and it’s cost me thousands as a result .

While I truly appreciate the professionalism and care of the dentist, I have unfortunately had repeated unpleasant experiences with the reception staff. Each time I visit, I feel that I am met with an unfriendly attitude, which makes me uncomfortable. The reception staff changed her facial expression and tone of voice when speaking with me. Fantastic experience: Had a really good time with the actual dentist himself, who was extremely kind and patient with me, even when I was anxious and nervous about what was going on. However, the absolute standouts were Piper and Dakota at the front desk, who were not only patient and kind enough to wait whilst I was having issues pulling up my insurance, but provided me with one on one assistance in helping me get the details. It was really touching, and was super impressive. Genuinely can’t thank the staff here enough!

Fantastic experience: Adsion's tooth extraction skills are truly impressive. The procedure was over and stitches were in before I even realized it. The post-operative advice was also very effective, such as the recommendation to sleep with my head elevated on a pillow, which helped me recover faster than the last time I had a wisdom tooth removed.

Fantastic experience: Hii. To whom who are wondering if you should try this dental practice. I recommend! I have seen Dr Christina Lee for a few years and she’s been great! Due to her having time off, I saw Dr Pramodh Nayagam more recently for my check up! He was so considerate and caring and even had the receptionist give me a check up call to ensure I was happy with everything. however sadly due to a freak accident and unrelated to the previous work I sadly chipped my FRONT tooth, so I was back way too soon and with a last minute appointment I went to see someone different again…Dr Matías Quitral. I’m so shocked with the experience. Everyone who works here are genuinely friendly and lovely people! They all give great service! I actually welled up and shed happy tears looking in the tiny mirror to see what my new front tooth looked like. I was terrified and i honestly couldn’t tell which one just got patched up!!!!. I didn’t think it was possible to do such a good job! Let alone for the last minute appointment and price. I’m so so so happy and I’m genuinely looking forward to my next visit with either three of these super drs! (I do hope though it will only be for a check up in 6 months) thanks to the whole team though. You’ve really made going to the dentist an enjoyable experience and I never ever thought I’d think that, let alone write a review about it!

Fantastic experience: Dr Oliver and his assistant Kiefer did a great job at making my teeth shine and sparkle like never before! Very gentle clean on my front sensitive teeth! He even used this brand new air blaster to make it the most high-tech clean! Will definitely be back to see him again!

Positive experience: Had a wonderful experience on my recent visit for a general check up with Dr Yu You Chien and his assistant. Both were genuine and kind. I've previously experienced some rougher cleanings at other dentist's but Dr Chien was very gentle and did not excessively clean around my gums and retainer. I will definitely be booking my next appointment with Dr Chien. Only lost a point for a previous appointment with another dentist where I had to pay $300 upfront for a filling and x-ray even with private health insurance - you'd think they'd provide more benefits for BUPA customers at a BUPA clinic.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say more what than gold star treatment, customer service, and kindness. Dr Christine Lee is just the coolest, loveliest and best operator and the reception staff are fantastic. I literally drive 7 hours from NSW just to come to what was my previous dentists when I lived in Brisbane because they are so terrific and sweet and so generous in their understanding. They are like a family owned, country style practice, but they are part of BUPA and are in the dead centre of the city. So it blows my mind as a country person, that they are like this. Fantastic experience: I have been receiving consistent quality service from this surgery and its dentists since moving into the inner city three years ago. I am especially appreciative of the care and skill provided by Dr Adam Alford, being the dentist I have seen the most at this location. The front desk staff are polite and friendly, too. 5 stars.

Negative experience: The only part of the dentist that was good was the receptionist. The dentist Dr adam alford was incredibly rude. I wanted help with my wisdom teeth but he didnt help at all. He never listened when i told him it hurt and that previous dentists told me to get them moved. Im never going back here. So thanks for the waste of time and money.

Negative experience: Regarding the professional conduct of Mr. Adam Alford of Bupa Dental Adelaide St Brisbane. I went into this practice with the intention of having a graft procedure carried out on two back molar teeth on the left and right side. On examination Mr. Alford informed me a front tooth would have to be removed also, and the whole procedure would cost $14000. Now this particular front tooth had recently been X- rayed twice with no found present. I informed Mr. Alford of this fact, and to just concentrate on the teeth where infection had been demonstrated on X- ray. I assumed that any competent professional dentist would immediately carry out an X-ray procedure on any operation performed on the human body, however Mr. Alford apparently believes he is Superman with X-Ray vision and he does not any need X -ray confirmation. Subsequently two teeth were extracted from the upper left side. One of these teeth did not need to be extracted according to my regular, highly concerned dentist, who showed me the X-ray print out she had taken, and who apologized profusely for ever having recommended Bupa Dental; indeed; I could show this X-ray to a dozen dentists and they would arrive at the same conclusion. Now I have the greatest difficulty in eating and swallowing food which leaves me in discomfort and tears. If you value your health and wealth do not go to Bupa Dental. You have been warned, please do not end up like me!!!

Negative experience: The worst service ever. The dentists are very rude and also the service is really poor. They are always rescheduling appointments. I had to wait 6 months to remove a wisdom tooth and for a teeth cleaning 3 months due to rescheduling. TAKE YOUR WORK SERIOUSLY. I am paying for a service, not asking It for free.

Negative experience: Super terrible customer service - receptionist was on her phone and taking pictures of peoples 'private' medical insurance details on her personal phone. The dentists were lovely, but DO NOT go here! The staff other than the dentists themselves have rude manners, and not helpful at all. Not worth for the public at all. Apparently they need an 'app' or 'card' but cannot look up a simple number. I would highly recommend MEDICARE services and espeically PSYCHOLOGICAL HELP after speaking to the receptionist after going here. Waste of time and money. Cannot answer basic questions because of their incompetence.

Negative experience: I had done my tooth filling here for twice, very disappointed as the filling keep coming out. For the same tooth the filling had issues. Wasted nearly $1000 for 2 times just for the same tooth. No responsibility for issues from the dental. Now its my 3rd time the filling coming out, i will never go back there again.

Fantastic experience: I was very very happy with my visit to Bupa Dental Brisbane. The dentist was extremely thorough and lovely, and so was the assistant. I felt really cared for, and the dentist was genuinely concerned on covering all bases and listened to me intently while I explained my history. He also noticed some residue on my tooth from an old mini diamond I had stuck on there many years ago. He polished this off. I have been to many dentists and none of them have ever noticed or helped me with that residue (it was extremely annoying!). So really, he went above and beyond and I’m very happy to have found him and will be a regular with Bupa moving forward. Thanks so much!
