Fantastic experience: After having extensive work done at Pro Smiles over the years, including implants and today a crown, I only have the highest praise for Dr Shiralkar and his excellent team. They are always friendly and accommodating and really go out of their way to make sure you are relaxed, have a complete understanding of work required and a price is given before any treatment begins. I have been extremely happy with the final outcomes of all work done. The new premises in Gipps St is lovely and I wish them well in their new home. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental practice. The prosmiles team have gone out of their way to repeatedly provide the best care. On more than one occasion his has included carrying out emergency work on the same day and staying late to fit me in. Dr Madhur’s work is to an exceptional standard. In addition the reception team are highly responsive, communicative and empathetic. It’s a true testament to their work when they can get you smiling again.

Fantastic experience: I am not the type to usually leave reviews, but my experience at ProSmiles in Collingwood is genuinely something to write home about. I had to get a Wisdom tooth urgently removed as it was growing into the side of my check. Once we had an X-Ray, Dr. Madhur also noticed my right top widsom tooth was almost fully grown but was impacting the molar beside it. He left it up to me whether I wanted to get it taken out or not in the same appointment. His reasoning made total sense - I would have continued to get food stuck in there, and it would be a second round of recovery if I wanted to remove it at another time. I bit the bullet and had both removed under local. Aside from the needles around the roof of my mouth and the gums, the whole thing was painless and INCREDIBLY quick. So much so that Dr. Madhur and his assistant assured me we hadnt started yet but I should get my headphones for the noise and some distraction...when I went to get them they were like "Just kidding! We're all done!" I had zero bruising and the swelling went down pretty quickly a day or so after. They called me the next day to make sure I was doing alright, gave me very clear aftercare instructions and even held my hand and comforted me during the op. I can't recommend them enough and have told everyone I know who has been putting off the dentist to book!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mudhur is simply the best dentist I've ever had. And I've had a lot. He did my All-On-4. This involves highly invasive, intense dental surgery: four large titanium bolts screwed into the head. Only do it with someone you 100% trust. Three years on, I still get delighted when I brush my teeth in the mirror each morning. A confident smile has replaced a morgue of blackened teeth, courtesy of Dr. Mudher gentle touch and exceptional expertise. Thanks again, Dr Mudhur.

Fantastic experience: Being a luddite when it comes to technology, writing my first ever review is a huge step for me. However, I’m so thrilled with my new smile thanks to the composite veneers Dr Madhur at ProSmiles created for me I felt compelled to post one! A true work of art that looks so natural and I’ve had many positive compliments from family and friends. I can’t recommend Dr Madhur and his team enough.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been seeing Madhur for 10 years. Madhur gave me back my faith in this industry as my previous dentist had done more damage than good, that Madhur fixed for me (bone grafts, crowns, etc). Madhur also takes a holistic approach which supports prevention. He could tell that my 4 year old son was going to have a malformed upper mouth as he didn't close his mouth when breathing, would have no room for new teeth and an underbite that would require braces and jaw surgery to fix. We went through a preventative approach with a mouth spacer from 7 to 9 years old which allowed his new teeth to come through and fixed his bite (and prevent the need for jaw surgery when older). He's now almost 15 and does not need braces and will also not suffer from sleep apnoea as he will have enough room to breath. Madhur is fantastic with kids and has a very calm demeanour. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: ProSmiles Collingwood is a small business with a very personal touch to their service. All of the staff are incredibly kind, helpful and accomodating. My first visit here was my first appointment in 10 years due to chronic anxiety towards dentistry caused by horrible experiences when I was young. Needless to say, I needed a lot of work done. The team made every effort to make me comfortable and quickly helped me overcome my anxieties. I still don’t like going to the dentist, but I can always trust ProSmiles Collingwood team to give me the best possible experience.

Fantastic experience: I first saw Madhur 12 years ago and immediately felt very comfortable. I had full dental implants, top and bottom and the care and treatment was excellent. Dr m shiralkar is so informative and friendly, and really listens to any concerns or questions I have. The dental assistants are lovely and very attentive, even providing emotional support during fillings which is unheard of. Recently I needed to have minor surgery where they lasered off a bit of gum to reach a tooth cavity, I was so worried it would be painful but the dr was so careful and attentive that it didn’t hurt at all. The whole team from start to end were so warm and empathetic. Fantastic experience: I came here after badly fracturing three teeth. The whole team at prosmiles was incredibly warm and welcoming, they explained the process clearly which put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I had premolar extractions, which I was anxious about and was considering GA or sleep dentistry and received a couple of exorbitant quotes from other practices. However at ProSmiles I was reassured that wasn't necessary and felt that I was in good hands as the staff were supportive and caring. Dr Madhur was gentle, calm and efficient and Rucha was really helpful throughout the process of booking and preparing me for my surgery. Fantastic experience: Over 3 years ago, I began a dental journey with Dr. Madhur and his team that can only be described as a complete overhaul of my smile, a 40th birthday present to myself.. It included x-rays, 3D scans, extractions, bone grafts, implants, veneers and countless visits. I was so anxious about having this amount of work done, and it being such a financial and time heavy commitment I wanted to make sure that the sceptic in me was appeased. It only took one or two visits to Madhur's clinic for me to genuinely feel like I had made the correct choice. The discussions with Dr. Madhur around the work being done were always so informative and honest - there was never any upsell or pressure to do anything I wasn't completely comfortable with, and my personal journey evolved over time - it wasn't just a "Day 1 give me the best smile - money's no object" deal for me. It started with a simple clean and a discussion about an extraction of a back tooth that may or may not require surgery, that eventually lead to where I am today, 3 years later, with a smile that is utterly flawless and so authentic, that even my friends and family can't tell that I have had work done. My teeth look so completely original and perfect you wouldn't believe that I wasn't born with these absolutely perfect teeth unless I told you. Fantastic experience: I needed a bone graft in both sides of my jaw and was extremely nervous about it. Originally I came to Pro Smiles because they offered sleep dentistry. However, after chatting to the dentist and the wonderful team at Pro Smiles, I felt comfortable enough to go ahead without the need to go under. The whole process was way easier than I thought and they even followed up after each session to see how I was going. If you feel nervous about going to the dentist, try them!

They have elite level customer service on the phone, always remembering who I am immediately without digging through files. Can’t recommend them highly enough! Ruchi and Dani are so welcoming and kind and I always felt like they were very caring when I would attend my appointments. Dr Shiralkar I could not recommend enough. Fantastic experience: The short review: This is hands down one of the best dental clinics I've ever been to. Dr. Shiralkar and Ruchi are absolutely amazing (apologies I don't know the names of the other two women who also helped out who were also wonderful!) The long review: I, like most people, avoid going to the dentist, but knew I needed some work done. My husband found Dr. Shiralkar and recommended I see him and I couldn't be more pleased. Throughout every process, he keeps me informed about what's going on and made sure I was always comfortable and didn't feel any discomfort or pain. He is very patient and makes sure you are truly numb before he begins work (I am very thankful for this as I've had bad experiences in the past!) Today I went in for potentially a couple of crowns. Dr. Shiralkar was very open that he wasn't sure how much would need to be done until he got to work, and to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as initially thought and I walked away with two fixed fillings instead! This is a huge testament to Dr. Shiralkar's honest and ethical practice (not doing more than needed!), and of course, a happy patient walking away with less work needing to be done than initially prepared for! Ruchi is also amazing - she is so welcoming and helped make me feel comfortable from the first visit. We are sadly moving overseas, but Ruchi made sure I was sent all of my recent X-rays to bring with me. I honestly cannot recommend this clinic enough - I've never felt so safe in a dental chair. Fantastic experience: I wanted to get an old composite veneer replaced with porcelain and after doing quite a bit of research I chose Prosmiles. Right from the very first phone call the experience has been simply fantastic. Dr. Madhur thoroughly explained every part of the process during the first appointment, told me exactly what was to be done and *exactly* how much it would cost, which I appreciated so much! He and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating, making the whole procedure almost completely stress free. Dr. Madhur went above and beyond to create my new veneer, which looks almost as good as the original tooth did! I highly, highly recommend Prosmiles.

Negative experience: First point of contact with an extremely rude, cocky and condescending receptionist and never would visit this dental clinic after interaction with the rude receptionist lady who was very impatient and spoke in a rude and demeaning way towards me. She told me that I should consider myself lucky just because I'm using a dental voucher (wow demeaning much?). she was saying things such as "You need to listen to me (with attitude in her tone of voice) Not many dentists accepts dental vouchers because we have to lower the price of dental services, you really should consider yourself lucky to be having that. I can tell you now that no other dentist will provide all the services you need. What is your name?" Why do you need to know my name and all my details when I am not even making an appointment yet?? There was something very very wrong with the way this lady spoke to me and I hope the owner does read this and know how she speaks to people and how from her experience alone, it has lost a potential customer. I felt so uncomfortable with the way she spoke to me and that experience is enough for me to never consider this clinic and will be looking elseware. There are actually ALOT of other dentists in Melbourne that accepts the dental voucher and this is not the only dental clinic that accepts it FYI. Lots of other dental clinic with MUCH nicer receptionists too.

Fantastic experience: I used to absolutely loathe and be terrified of the dentist. But everyone here is so incredibly patient and genuinely friendly, I've had as good a time I possibly could having bits and pieces of my mouth removed and then added back in.

Fantastic experience: After suffering through years of dentists who would patch up my bad teeth I was referred to Prosmiles by a friend. I had broken a front tooth for the third time and was looking for a better solution. Dr Madhur was the first one to actually give me a plan to improve my teeth in general rather than just do small fixes which never lasted. I'm able to smile again in public - it had been years. I can't recommend him enough.

From the staff I spoke to on the phone to book my appointment and of course Dr Shiralkar himself, everyone was uncommonly kind and compassionate, and it felt like a very personalised experience. Dr Shiralkar also struck the perfect balance between thoroughness and explaining his recommendations. As a result, the consult was not only affordable, but extremely high quality. Fantastic experience: I got veneers at ProSmiles Collingwood and I could not recommend them highly enough. Madhur is extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. Fantastic experience: After having avoided the dentist for a while and knowing I at least needed a wisdom tooth out I decided to go to ProSmiles after reading all the amazing reviews and I never thought I’d say this about dentists but WOW I cannot recommend this place enough! They made everything so easy and comfortable, all the staff were so friendly, the dental assistant was so good at helping me keep calm and honestly Dr Shiralkar is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! Fantastic experience: Recently I had dental surgery & I’m one who doesn’t like going to the dentist & will avoid it at all cost but at Prosmiles they make you feel calm and relaxed the moment you walk through the door I was put completely to sleep while the did all the work I had 2 wisdom teeth & a main molar removed & I can’t thank them enough for the work they did honestly the best dentist I’ve been to can’t thank them enough .

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist that REALLY cares for the wellbeing of their patents. After having a horrible dental experience at another place I was on the hunt to find a new dentist, at it was reading these reviews that helped me choose Dr. Madhur and the team at Prosmiles in the first place, so it’s only right that I share my experience too so others will hopefully find this useful. Honestly, I’m not lying when I tell you the first time I saw them I was so damaged by my previous experiences that I ended up crying in their office… Fast forward one year and I can honestly say that I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a dental office. I feel so cared for, and my anxiety and nerves are almost gone now. I have have another appointment this Saturday to continue root canal procedure on two teeth and I’m feeling fine about it….this time last year I would have needed Valium to get through it. This is the place to go for professional, gentle and caring treatment!

Fantastic experience: After a 6-year dental-drought, I finally plucked up the courage to book an appointment at ProSmiles. Boy, am I glad I did! Unsurprisingly, I needed a couple of fillings and a wisdom tooth extraction which I was pretty nervous about. Dr Madhur and the team made me feel so comfortable and were so efficient (I even got a little jaw massage halfway through!). They’re honestly the best dentist around and very reasonably priced. If you’re putting off going to the dentist, just book with ProSmiles and they’ll sort you out.

Fantastic experience: The team at ProSmiles in Collingwood were professional and highly accommodating when I required urgent surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. I was incredibly impressed with the outcome of my procedure and the care shown by Dr Madhur and his team. They contacted me regularly afterwards to check in on my recovery which I appreciated. Dentist team seem highly skilled and picked up issues on my teeth that others didn’t. Treatment was pretty much pain free which is always a bonus, as I have quite a few issues with my teeth and jaw. Fantastic experience: Dr Madhur and his amazing team are world class professionals. I can't thank Dr Madhur enough, for his patience, knowledge, care and most of all for giving me back my smile. I had the All-On-4 procedure (upper and lower) which has been a huge success, I had implants fail from another dentist and Dr Madhur worked his magic, and what a skilled magician he is! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Prosmiles Collingwood are the best in Melbourne.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to ProSmiles since I moved to Melbourne two years ago. Before this, I had only ever been to my family dentist (who is my Godmother), I always have a hard time trusting any other dentist. I feel completely comfortable with Madhur; who is thorough in his approach, gentle and caring - this is so important for me as I have dental anxiety and am terrified of needles! I also feel that he only actions what is necessary and is ethical in his approach. Everyone who works at the clinic is also really helpful and friendly; which makes it much less daunting. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a trustworthy, and skilled dentist.

Fantastic experience: Prosmiles is by far one of the best dental establishments I've ever been to. Dr Madhur is a fantastic dentist, extremely careful and knowledgeable along with his excellent staff who are always super friendly. Another great thing is that they are open later than most dentists therefore I don't have to miss out on too much work.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place, takes you seriously unlike some other nearby practices. I had a more serious issue with my wisdom teeth that I wasn't informed of until coming here (despite having shown the x-rays to another practice), and normally I'd be skeptical about a practice trying to convince me to get more work done on myself and increase their profits, but they actually refused to do work on me due to the severity and risks involved with the procedure! They made it incredibly easy for me to get the prescriptions I needed (which the last practice did not even attempt to prescribe) and arranged my surgery appointment! Did I mention they're sweethearts?

Fantastic experience: I initially chose ProSmiles because my son had some very complex work done recently and was very happy. They kindly squeezed me in when I broke my tooth just before going on holiday. I am generally very nervous at the dentist (and generally quite neglectful) but it didn’t take long to feel at ease and confident here. Dr Madhur is kind, patient and highly skilled and the staff couldn’t be more caring and helpful. After discussing the options I ended up having a bone graft and bridging work done. The teeth are of the highest quality and look and feel so natural. This will be my forever dentist and regular check ups are now happily scheduled. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Madhur has been fantastic during my teeth restoration. (12 crowns and 2 bridges plus more.) Everything was explained clearly and only work that was necessary to restore my chewing capability was done. The cosmetic benefits were an unexpected bonus too. Very very happy with the results. Fantastic experience: Dr Choi is amazing at her job. She communicates to you through every step and is as delicate as possible, with a sometimes sensitive job. I highly recommend her as a dentist to see.
