Negative experience: I think I'm going somewhere else from now on... they lied about payment to my face. Said an xray would be $100 with $50 medicare rebate. I opted to give them business, also for convenience, and got the xray there. Handed my medicare to the receptionist, I'm not even sure she put my details in, then got told okay that will be $100. I didn't even think at the time, but they didn't do the rebate "tap" then and there, now 3 weeks later and still no sign of the money... Have emailed about this, no reply, called and got a weird vague response... Very disappointed and bamboozled.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vincent was absolutely lovely! She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Her warm and gentle approach made what is usually a stressful experience so much easier. She took the time to explain everything and was incredibly kind throughout. Highly recommend her if you're looking for a caring and professional dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have always been very anxious with the dentist in the past, I have had many negative experiences and wanted to find a dentist that I could trust. Dr Neha was absolutely amazing, she took the extra time to explain each step in detail and reminded me that I could take breaks whenever needed. We worked out a plan that was the most financially suitable for myself and reception and Dr Neha where both very supportive and accomodating to my needs. I am very glad that I have found a dentist where I feel safe and heard.

As someone who has been traumatized by the sound of the dentist's drill (to say nothing of the anesthetic jab), I feel so comfortable with the team at Carrum Downs Dental Group, they are just amazing, and go above and beyond the call of duty. I used to have to have laughing gas to settle me down. I tried them when I had a toothache on a long weekend and they were open, and my regular dentist wasn't. And after subsequently getting a root canal (which I had been avoiding for the longest time), I just had to shake the hand of the endodontist, it was so quick, painless, no fuss, just totally professionally done by an absolute expert, Dr. Mo, with quiet, modern equipment. I can't recommend them enough!

She also followed up next day to see if I am feeling better or not. Even the receptionist Raman was very kind. I have had an amazing experience with both Dr Divya and Dr Swati. Positive experience: Overall the experience was fine and they were helpful and kind however when I initially enquired online about getting a clean I was quoted $130-$150 + a oral examination that cost an extra $60 which I was okay to pay and proceeded to go in. Whilst on the chair I was told it would be a total of $550 with 2 separate appointments for a “deep clean”. Now, had I been quoted this earlier I would’ve reconsidered but I just felt they could’ve put this “deep clean” price in the quote they had provided me earlier as it felt very misleading. The staff were incredible though.

Negative experience: My wife and I visited Dr. Ruby Gulati on May 24, 2024, for a routine cleaning, encouraged by the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. During the cleaning, Dr. Ruby Gulati applied excessive force, which left both of us with sensitive teeth that persist to this day. Additionally, we were given a fluoride treatment without prior consultation or consent, only discovering the extra charge when it was billed to our private health insurance. At other dental practices, I've always been informed of additional charges before receiving treatments. Overall, the cleaning felt rushed, and the lack of communication was concerning. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Dr. Ruby Gulati. Update: I did receive a call from Hannah (Practice Manager) who followed up and provide some reassurance and advice that the feedback had been received. Really appreciative of them to call and follow up on feedback.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 implants done with a crown and also bone grafting, a hard challenge when l work full time and long hours the benefit of being able to attend the dentist on a sunday was so convenient. It was a long journey but the end result was absolutely fantastic! I would like to thank Dr Ash and staff for the incredible job and for their patience for someone who is a dental coward! I Couldn't be happier and totally recommend Dr Ash!

Positive experience: I recently visited Carrum Downs Dental, and I must say the experience was very positive. The staff are incredibly friendly and always go the extra mile to be helpful. I particularly appreciate their regular appointment reminders and follow-up calls to check on how I'm feeling after a visit. However, one aspect that could be improved is their tendency to ask me what I want to do next or ask me what I want to do during a treatment. While I understand the importance of patient preference, I believe that as experts, they should provide more guidance on the necessary treatments. Overall, it's a great place with a caring team.

Fantastic experience: My appointment today with Dr Neha Sharma was for professional teeth whitening and a tooth gem. She was lovely as were the other staff. This was my first time having a professional teeth whiting treatment, and even though it was quit a long time in the chair, I was amazed at the results and will definitely continue to have this treatment. Dr Sharma was professional and personable as always, and I highly recommend her and this dental clinic.

She was so gentle with the needle that I hardly felt it. We were chatting about music at the beginning of the appointment, she asked me what music I like and I replied "anything Prince", so she played Prince for the entire appointment. Best dental appointment ever! Children & people scared of dentists would benefit by seeing Dr Seneviratne.

Fantastic experience: So today I took all 3 Shorties to the dentist, 2 for cleaning and review and 1 for a wisdom tooth extraction. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they sorted my 2 needing cleaning and gave fishure seals to one. With my daughter needing the wisdom tooth removal they were so gentle so kind and so caring. She had to get the laughing gas because she was so distraught, and they administered it with such care, the dentist held her hand. I got to hear a laugh from my daughter that I haven’t been able to hear in years, and it honestly made me cry! The staff were so caring and professional so I would really like to recommend them to you if you have Shorties that fear dentists, my daughter is home now resting and we were sent home great instructions to follow. The clinic, from the receptionist to dentist including the dental nurse were all just brilliant with all 3 of my Shorties and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. They also allowed the use of the government funds before giving me my bill. I was super impressed about the entire experience

Fantastic experience: First time ever going to this dentist for a check up couldn’t have been nicer and friendly all the staff as I really hate going to the dentist haven’t been for such a long time Doctor Divya was so nice and helpful she took pictures of my teeth and also gave them a clean she explain to me what needed to be done and couldn’t be more professional I was also very surprised when I said I was with BUPA and she suggested that I go to a BUPA dentist as I would probably get more back from one of the BUPA dentist she didn’t have to tell me that so that was very nice of her it is a pity they are not a BUPA dentist.
