I have attended Civic Gentle Dental since 1985 and now with its’ third Principal/Owner their skilled gentle philosophy of care continues.

Dr Tam was incredibly professional, thorough, and gentle throughout the entire process. The routine check-up and cleaning were done with great care. Dr Tam also found that I had a small cavity that needed filling, and the procedure was seamless. She ensured I was comfortable at every step, and the filling was done efficiently and painlessly. The results are fantastic, I can’t even tell where the filling is! Overall, the level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism at exceptional. I highly recommend Dr Tam and their team! I will definitely be returning for future check-ups.

Dr Sidhu was very thorough in discussing the plan and potential challenges of the procedure and listened to my concerns. The actual procedure ended up being tremendously quick and painless! Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dental practice. We are with Dr Janie and she is absolutely wonderful, professional, and clearly explains any issues and possible solutions. I highly recommend going to see her from a dental care perspective. The dentists at the practice are also very accommodating to parents. I was a bit worried about taking my one year old to an appointment but Dr Janie and the assistant made work and she had a blast.

However, with Dr Gavin, I felt very comfortable and confident with everything that was happening. He made sure to explain what he was about to do, and if I needed anything extra, how much that was going to cost. Anyone looking to book in, I would highly recommend Dr Gavin! The booking system was also very easy! Booked online, and called up on the day to try and get in earlier. The receptionist was very helpful and made it happen! 10/10 experience - I will be telling everyone and anyone to go to the dentist here.

Dr. Aqel has a good temperament and keeps you informed throughout the procedure, explaining each step and being open to questions. Growing up having braces I developed a big fear of the dentist so was attracted to the gentle philosophy of Gentle Dental. Dr Tam Le is so kind and empathetic and now I feel so calm (and even excited!) to visit. I appreciate her open communication and letting you know every action she is about to perform - it reduces so much of the stress and fear. I have longstanding dental fear in relation to one aspect of dentistry and Dr J Kim, the dental assistants and the receptionists could not have been kinder, gentler or more professional. Dr J Kim provided an outstanding level of service, everything was explained, she always checked on my comfort during the procedure and made doubly sure that the pain relief was appropriate for me. He is polite and caring, and explains everything very clearly with pictures so I can understand what treatment my daughter getting during the procedures. He is very professional and passionate about new dental technology, he used AI based 3d modelling scan technique during my daughter's treatment so she was not nervous at all, even she enjoyed it when she saw the 3d modelling of the teeth on the screen. Negative experience: Such a disappointed at first time service and we are never coming back. My daughter was there on last Friday for check up and clean teeth, after 30 minutes they charge more than $250 and what we recieved as crab...The dentist was not gentle like their advertised. He just tried to complete his job as quick as he can with not caring of how hurt my daughter felt, so bad of service we haven't ever seen. Civic Gentle Dental Care name is opposite of what they would be.

Negative experience: I had an absolutely terrible experience with this clinic. My appointment was scheduled for 12, but they delayed it until 12:20. Then, they asked me to come back at 1, only to make me wait for another 5 minutes. Around 1:20, they asked me to wait for another 15-20 minutes. This wasted my entire day, which I had taken off from work. Their behaviour was disgusting

Fantastic experience: Civic Gentle Dentists have provided an outstanding level of service. My daughter is at Uni in Canberra and I am in WA. Between us we organised emergency extraction of her tooth, organised so that I could get to Canberra in time. All the staff were helpful, kind and caring.
