Fantastic experience: I took my 2 year old daughter for her first dentist visit and Michael was excellent. Calm, warm and welcoming to her and my 5-year old who came along. My little one was scared at first but he was patient and soft spoken towards her and she became comfortable enough to sit in the chair herself whilst he looked at her teeth. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him, especially if you have young kids. Really pleased with such a positive experience for my daughter’s first dentist visit. :)

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service by staff and Dr Azer. He is honest, methodical and his care for his patients is top notch. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Negative experience: FRAUD! Moral: - If you do have a voucher, persist the person giving the voucher at the local clinic to perform it at the government clinic even if they say no - go in person and tell them that you are willing to wait - can't trust this dentist. Or else go Bexley Dental Studio - heard it's good there. Recount: In February, I used a dental voucher provided by the Department of Health due to dental pain. The receptionist, **Sandy**, insisted I pre-sign the voucher before seeing the dentist, which made me uncomfortable, but I reluctantly complied. Dr. Azer briefly examined me and claimed he couldn’t find the source of my pain. When I requested a teeth cleaning, he said the voucher wouldn’t cover it and when I asked him how much to clean my teeth, I paid **$200**, but it really was minimal—just plaque scraping with no polishing or thorough care. I later discovered that my voucher had been redeemed for treatments that were never performed, including: - **Item 013:** Oral Exam Limited - **Item 531:** Tooth No.18 Posterior Adhesive Restoration Service/Surface - **Item 531:** Tooth No.28 Posterior Adhesive Restoration Service/Surface - **Item 231:** Treatment of Acute Periodontal Infection None of these services were provided during my visit, and it appears they were falsely claimed. Dr. Azer also advised me to remove my wisdom teeth preemptively despite my experiencing no pain at the time, claiming 'they could damage other teeth'. Fortunately, I declined. When my wisdom teeth started causing mild pain a few months later, I sought a second opinion at the Kogarah public dental clinic. They reassured me that my symptoms were normal and didn’t require any immediate action unless the pain worsened. The discomfort subsided after a week, confirming that removing my wisdom teeth would have been unnecessary. I suspect fraudulent billing and unethical behavior by both Dr. Azer and his receptionist. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions, and avoid my mistake.
