Fantastic experience: I am 17 yo and recently i got my four wisdom teeth extracted. I was nervous about getting all in one go, but Dr Rekha explained the positives of the approach and I decided to go ahead. I felt at ease with Dr Rekha after she explained the process and kept me informed of the next steps along the way. The whole procedure was very smooth and efficient and I felt very assured as Dr Rekha would keep checking on me. It was a very quick procedure and I was out of the surgery in 1/2 hr. Dr Rekha’s pain strategy was very effective and I was comfortable during and after the extractions. The precautions were all outlined on a page to ensure a smooth recovery process and overall the procedure was seamless. I have recovered fully now and am so glad to have Dr Rekha as my dentist.

Fantastic experience: My teeth were crowded and gave me more pain as I get older. That’s why I decided to get them straighten though I am over 40 years old. I got orthodontic treatment (invisalign) with Midway dental clinic. Total 15 months of treatment is absolutely worth it. You just need to listen to the doctor and wear them all the time except meal time for about an hour or an hour and half, then the result is guaranteed. Huge thanks to midway dental team, experienced and knowledgeable, they made the whole procedure smooth for me. I’m very pleased with the result.

My first time meeting with Dr Rekha Halasagi I was a bit worried thinking she will get angry with the condition of my teeth, but to my surprise she greeted me happily and said now we have to get your teeth sorted and for me to smile again. I rang Midway Dental and I could not believe it when Dr Rekha answered the phone. This lady was amazing. She opened her practice late in the evening. Fantastic experience: Midway clinic has been my literal life saver, because every now and then my glue snaps off my retainer and causes me nothing but pain. I have been able to see Dr Vinay and Dr Leslie each time on short notice. They are very accommodating and for that I am truly grateful! Both Drs have been nothing short of professional, attentive and understanding of what I need done with my teeth. I would also like to point out that they are very transparent when it comes to the fees and also what procedure or action they will take to assist with the dental ailment. As I come to write this review, I have noticed some reviews which are on the lower end of the scale, and they are all either fake or untrue because I've had nothing short of a good experience. Whenever I have gone here. I am also 99% sure that I will be back here because the glue off my wires randomly snap so it's great to be have a trustworthy place to go! I will be back there when I can to do my dental clean and I have actually recommended this dental clinic to everyone at my work so we all hope to see you there again soon! Fantastic experience: I phoned Dr Rekha Halasagi late one evening because my young son had a dental emergency. She went out of her way to help us and remove his dislodged tooth that was bleeding and causing him pain. She could easily have said it was too late at night, but she didn't, and I am so grateful. Negative experience: It was ok until they didn’t diagnose a periodontal disease. They always did a fast cleaning, didn’t measure the pocket or worry about my bleeding and swollen gum. When I was sent to the gum specialist because the discomfort was getting unbearable, the gum specialist said the disease was too advanced (min 3-5 years in) and needed a bone graft. How could they have missed it. I don’t smoke and drink occasionally. Second reason I stopped going there when after a general cleaning, I went to a different dentist 3 days later. He spent 45min cleaning, flossing as if I didn’t have a cleaning a few days prior. They attract with no gap payment but don’t do a thorough job.

Negative experience: I want to start off by saying that the Dentist I had was really nice, gentle and explained procedures thoroughly which I was very appreciative of. The positives stop there because their support staff or lack thereof are rude and unprofessional. The lady that calls for follow up appointments is unhelpful and seems to not understand what it means when someone says they are not available on a certain day. I understand the clinic is heavily booked and certain appointment times aren't always available but it is unreasonable to book someone into a slot they have already advised you that they cannot attend and still call up to confirm that appointment!?. Without offering any alternative options and having the most dismissive tone of voice. It is a shame because the dentists here seem to be doing a great job.

Negative experience: Will Never recommend Dent. Rekha! Over invoiced for Poor service! Be aware of this dent. Rekha!!! If she gets a chance, she will snatch away your wallet as one point she ageed and told she is expensive A. Overcharged, $500 for removal of a normal wisdom tooth - though this website shows from $150, I asked again and again why did you charge extra without showing proper reason…one point she said price inflation B. Very bad experience, after removing the tooth straight-away by pulling she stitched the area. (Though, initially she said it wouldn't be pulled!!). While stitching my wife’s tooth she hits her tongue! with the needle and she got swollen jaw and couldn’t able to eat couple of weeks by that side. I believe she stitched to justify the amount she charged

We are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. However, we would like to clarify a few of the points you have made. Our website clearly states the cost of an extraction “starts’ from $150, and the overall cost will depend on the difficulty of the extraction. Please bear in mind the charge of $500, in your case, included a consult, examination, x-rays and the tooth extraction itself. This was explained to you and your wife prior to the extraction procedure itself.
A wisdom tooth extraction is more often than not a complex procedure and, in this case, required a minor surgical procedure. In such procedures, stitches or sutures are required to initiate proper healing and this was of course absolutely necessary in this case.
Please do not hesitate to contact the practice or Dr. Rekha who would be more than willing to discuss your concerns further.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr Rekha. I went in with a very sore tooth, causing me bad headaches. She told me the tooth had been cracked for a while and suggested root canal therapy. She was very upfront with the procedure and pricing. In the end, I ended up with an amazing result! No more sore tooth and the crown looks just like the rest of my teeth! I can't thank Dr Rekah and her team enough.

I had a lot of complications and issues and was very anxious and she saw me and supported me through the last few months.
