Fantastic experience: Professional and experienced dentists, but my review is specifically for patient co-ordination Meghan, she is unbelievably kind, professional and helpful, I had to apply for access to my super for dental work and I couldn’t have done it without Meghan, she took over to ensure everything in my application was ready, all I had to do was provide my identification. I can’t praise Meghan any higher, she is an absolute joy and a comfort to what can be an anxious experience.

Fantastic experience: A massive thank you to Dr Craig, Meagan and Bree for making my initial consultation today a pleasant experience. From the lovely greeting from Meagan as I arrived to the step by step treatment process from Dr Craig, I knew that this would be where I chose to be treated. The whole team were warm and friendly without judgement. I walked out laughing with the team, which has never happened to me. So if you’re nervous or worried about seeing a dentist this is the place to go. Thank you all again and I cannot wait to build my new smile with you.

Fantastic experience: Dr Craig and his Team are the best. I am an anxious type of human,.. and this had been my childhood dream..... Beautiful Teeth....IMy first contact was Megan... I think I even cried when I chatted to her the first time. Megan helped me with all the super details, forms etc.. Which as we all know can be challenging. I have never felt so comfortable at a Dentist in my life.. Dr Craig explained all my options at initial consultation. I know there are others that work there but Dr Craig, Meghan, Ben, Brie and Dr Ricky were my people accompanying me on this journey.. I've never laughed so much at a Dentist. Besides being exceptional at what they do.. A bloody great bunch of people. Love love love my new smile.

Fantastic experience: My experiences here have always been kind, respectful, and informative. I have always had sensitive teeth throughout my life, and seem to need more frequent dental care than others, but I have never felt more comfortable visiting the dentist on regular basis than here.

Fantastic experience: I have been scared of dentists all my life. Really needing dental work, my husband urged me to go to Sherwood dental. Reluctantly I went, only to be pleasantly surprised to find Craig, the principal dentist, extremely patient and gentle. Fantastic experience: Dr Craig Duval and his staff are a professional outfit made me feel like part of the family through my dental plan consisting of all on four implants this procedure was seamless.Absolutely recommed this practice to everyone .

Fantastic experience: Such a great place to go. I’ve always hated my past dentists but Craig and his team were never judgemental and gave me a lot of information about the different options I could do for implants. I was always nervous about smiling and showing my teeth. But now I can smile again and feel confident. They made the whole process easy.

Negative experience: I had a rather disappointing result from my Invisalign treatment at Sherwood Dental and am now with a new provider to fix the issues. I’ve noticed that majority of the Invisalign reviews here are from patients who are still yet to complete their treatment. My review is ‘post’ completion and everything I have mentioned is 100% my first hand experience: - Price: Sherwood Dental charged almost $9000 for a moderate case. Something I wished I knew before signing up: There were comprehensive (5 years ) and moderate (2 years ) treatment plans. I thought mine would have been a comprehensive plan given the dear price tag, and all my friends got their 5-year plans with other providers for even less than 9K, but little did I know that they only signed me up for a 2-year plan, meaning I would have to pay for another treatment all over again if issues not fixed within two years. - Their experience: Again, something I wish I knew before: They are only a Platinum provider. They don’t have as much experience as those who are Diamonds who have completed way more cases. - Bite issues post treatment: I experienced bite issues about two weeks post treatment, I kept biting my lower left lip when eating, my lower lip was bleeding almost everyday at every meal. Later, I found out that my bite was much heavier on the left and I couldn’t feel my back teeth when biting. I contacted them but it took them a few weeks to get back and said it was nothing wrong with the treatment, advised me to re-shape a tooth to fix the issues, which I did, but I still bit myself when eating constantly afterwards. I then contacted them again as I believed that my issues could be fixed with a few more aligners, they then said they couldn’t order more trays because I had already completed, and there was no room in my teeth for any more movements. I then consulted with a few other Invisalign providers and the conclusion was that more trays could be ordered to fix the issues, so Sherwood Dental either did not want to address the issues or did not the have experience to. - Refund: I requested partial refund to be transferred to a new provider to undergo more treatment. Sherwood Dental only refunded a portion of what I asked for and made the process very difficult. They ignored the fact that I had already started paying the new provider for the re-treatment and demanded me to pay off all the original repayments to them via Humm (the financial firm). Thankfully Humm got involved and told them their action was unreasonable, so they had to cancel purchase and reduce my repayments in the end. - Thank God I have relocated to a different city, I’m now on the 3rd tray of re-treatment with a new doctor, who is a diamond provider. I am already experiencing so much improvement in only 3 trays. Things Sherwood Dental said they couldn’t fix before, are now all being fixed. What’s more, my new doctor got me involved in designing my new treatment plan, I was able to play the Invisalign software Clincheck and design the outcome I desired (Sherwood Dental did not provide such service), and the new treatment outcome was so much straighter than the one Sherwood Dental provided. Although I had to pay extra money for the transfer, never regretted one bit. - I am sure Sherwood Dental would respond to this review and say that the treatment was completed to my satisfaction because I said I was happy on the day when the last set of aligners were removed. Well, a satisfactory outcome should not be only based on the aesthetic result, but more importantly, the functionality as you don’t want to have straight teeth yet can’t bite properly, and patients can only tell the functional issues after treatment, not on the spot when the aligners are taken off. - Final advice: Please always do your research before choosing a provider, always choose a diamond provider who has much more experience. There are Invisalign groups on Facebook offering much peer support which I wish I knew before.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Sherwood Dental. The surgery is beautiful, expansive and clean. The team are very friendly and accommodating. They were so kind with my distressed 6 month old that they let me feed her while getting my teeth cleaned. Quite a feat to accommodate a breastfeeding bub while trying to perform all of the necessary work. They were amazing and it was greatly appreciated

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Sherwood Dental for a year and a half now and just completed my Invisalign treatment with them. Throughout the process, everyone I interacted with was always kind, very professional, and very good at what they do. Dr Craig and Meghan were also incredibly accommodating when I moved to Sydney during my treatment and could only see them sporadically. I couldn’t have asked for a better Invisalign experience!

Fantastic experience: I came in on the 22/12/21 for my veneers consultation with Dr Craig. Dr Craig and her assistant Janet were very great. They have shared their professional thoughts and advice what's best for me and the consultation was very thorough and efficient. Fantastic experience: My experience at Sherwood Dental was great! From consultation through to procedure it was seamless and both dentists seen were extremely thorough and careful. BUT Sherwood Dental, tailoring service to patient needs, now send reminders not only to me but also to my wife for her to remind me too! The service was better than I could have hoped for, all communications were precise and transparent and the overall experience made the dentist a very pleasant trip - I know, who would have thought the dentist could be pleasant?
