Fantastic experience: I recently had the unfortunate need for an emergency appointment. The reception was lovely and I was very well taken care of at very short notice. Dr Joel was great, dealing with my immediate issue and removed the problematic tooth. He went through a very detailed care plan to improve my situation long term. I have done a lot of research and spent a lot of time thinking about what would be best for me and I look forward to working with the team to once again smile with pride. The journey is daunting, but I am confident the team at Alice St Dental are knowledgeable and actually care about what they do. I'm in the right place.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say, I turned up yesterday late afternoon with a swollen face and an abscess. Chloe( receptionist )sought help straight away . I ended up having 2 right molars pulled out because of infection and they were so loose. I have diabetes and it was an emergency. The team were so efficient and kind . I know I will be looked after from now on. I thank these beautiful people for helping me straight away

Fantastic experience: Last Tuesday 4 March I was fortunate enough to be granted an emergency appointment at this clinic - I was holidaying at Tinaburra from Cairns. I was experiencing terrible pain - Dr Joel and Assistant Ted explained that the troublesome tooth needed to come out!!! I was so nervous - going to sleep was not an option - these guys were amazing - assuring me that all would be good!!! Well it was traumatic but painless and carried out with care and compassion - I cannot speak highly enough of the attention and service at this clinic - thank you

The dentists and staff are top class and it’s the first clinic I’ve been to where I could completely relax. I also experienced the least amount of discomfort I’ve ever experienced whilst having dental work done, ever. Shout out to Dr. Lee who handles most of my visits, she’s excellent.

And can I say its the first time we meet and had Andrea as a dentist and boi oh boi is she fantastic with children. My son has anxitey issues and we went in for a clean and came out having had a detailed inspection and a tooth removal (for future surgery) . My son was smiling and calm like nothing even happend. Andrea was very patient and informative telling my son everything thats was going to happen and during, even had a practise run before removal AMAZAING !! True gift with children

Fantastic experience: First time going to Alice Street Dental and I could not suggest them more. Firstly a beautiful clean building and greeted with smiles all round. I had recently chipped my front tooth and they were able to fit me in within a few days of that happening. My Dr was amazing she did a fantastic job and I can smile confidently again. Everything was seamless, I will be going back for my follow up dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Highly reccomend this business very professional, friendly staff, I have had a lot of troubles with my teeth in the past and Maryann goes above and beyond to sort it all out and make you as comfortable as possible with procedures. They have also fixed my clicking jaw and it is amazing what a couple of mouth guards can do. Their payment plans are also very helpful when money is tight

Negative experience: I was asked to give a Google review, so I will keep it factual. 2 weeks ago I personally attended the clinic and explained what I wanted to see the Dentist about and even asked them whether they could do what I needed. After confirming that they could, I proceeded to make an appointment. Two weeks later, today, I came to my appointment and was told I would have to refered to another dentist and that the dentist I saw today, could not help me. No charge. I then tried to make another appointment for later this year, what is left of it, but couldn't because either my work interfered or the dentist wasn't on that day, or simply booked out. I am a shift worker and I don't appreciate my time being wasted by buisnesses that have two mouths and one ear. So much for trying to find a Dentist near my home, guess it will be another Cairns trip.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the service I have received from Alice Street Dental. I have had two appointments and treatments in the past month and found all the staff members I dealt with to be polite, helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with Dr Joel. He was friendly and gentle, explained what was needed and being done, and I did not feel the needle either time (most people's fear of the dentist)!!! I was quite surprised with the cost, expecting higher, and easily claimed my private health benefit on the spot. The premises is very nice also. I would definitely recommend Alice Street Dental to others.

Fantastic experience: I'm somebody that has neglected my teeth throughout my life. Mainly because of negative experiences with dentists. This has now changed. Recently, I started dealing with Alice St Dental to rectify this situation. Holy hell. Everybody I've dealt with so far has been 100% professional and.......nice. He has a lovely manner with his patients & the staff & he was very gentle & caring. Excellent communication. I would recommend him highly. Negative experience: Unfortunately my family’s experience with Alice Street has been very poor. X-rays were taken even before a consult for my husband with no reasoning, my 5 year old then had a full mouth x ray with out justification and we ended up with a bill over $600 for two “dental health checks”. Had to see them in person to try and seek an answer. They figured out they had overcharged me and refunded some money but still close to $400. They were unapologetic. Would not recommend and wouldn’t go back.

Fantastic experience: I have a fear of the dentist and really bad teeth. Every staff member there made me feel comfortable and welcoming. I wasn’t judged and was assured I was ok. Dr Molly and her assistant made a calming, relaxed environment and aware of everything that was happening. I even received a phone call the following day to follow up on my procedure. The whole process was calm, quick and gentle. I will definitely be going back to have the rest of my dental work done with Alice Street.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to staff at Alice Street Dental -after an emergency phone call at 8am , had appointment by 2pm after driving 600 klms. Easy to deal with , friendly and caring- even had a follow up call today from staff to check on the patient. Would highly recommend - your help and assistance was greatly appreciated.

Negative experience: I went to have 2 teeth extracted. I don't usually use this dentist but my regular one was booked out. They do not apply numbing gel to your gums before numbing the area with a needle so it was painful in that regard, also they had the patients chair sitting directly in front of a wide open exterior door. I was concerned a bug was going to fly in, into my mouth and down my throat during the procedure. Afterwards my other teeth were sore where the dentist had leaned/put pressure on to do the extractions. Staff are pleasant enough.

Negative experience: I wouldn't go back to this Dentist if they were the last ones on Earth! I had to have a Tooth removed and it seemed like they didn't numb it enough even after 4 shots! They ended up breaking the Tooth off then towards the end the pain was so excruciating that it was almost completely unbearable! 5 days later and still in unbearable pain and today 6 days later I happened to feel something sharp poking my gum and low and behold there's still some of the Tooth remaining! Is this what you call professional!? I hope no one has to go through what I had to go through! Looks like i'll be finding another Dentist to fix the huge mistake these folks made! Very traumatic experience yet again after going through the same thing with these people 10 years ago!

Plenty of parking if you drive through to the back car park. For a woman with walking stick, access is very convenient and easy. Shirley at reception welcomed me jauntily into the airy waiting room. My dentist Molly lived up to the glowing reviews of her and I was soon reclined, relaxed and the examination was underway effortlessly. Then on leaving, I was informed that Tuesday is Seniors' Day and a discount is applied to Tuesday appointments. Yes please! Seriously good service and popular so book ahead.
