Fantastic experience: I would like to say thank you to Dr Paul and for all the team for extracting my wisdom tooth today. Dr Paul has shown confidence, respect and reassurance to me as his patient. I’m someone who gets extremely anxious at the dentist, especially when it comes to anything more than a regular cleaning. I was terrified at the thought of having my wisdom tooth removed, but Dr. Paul and their team made the experience so much better than I ever expected. From the moment I walked in, the staff was kind, patient, and understanding of my anxiety. Dr. Paul took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible before starting the procedure. They were incredibly gentle and reassuring throughout. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick and almost painless. I didn’t even realize the tooth was out until they told me it was done! The aftercare instructions were clear, and they even checked in to see how I was doing the next day. If you’re a nervous patient like me, I can’t recommend Dr. Paul enough. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and cared for. I’m honestly less afraid of dental work now because of this experience.

Fantastic experience: Needed to have two wisdom teeth extracted and was rather traumatised at the prospect. However, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The pain numbing injection worked wonders in minutes and Paul whipped out both wisdom teeth in under 10 minutes. I was very impressed with his gentleness and efficiency. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience coming to Genesis for a wisdom tooth extraction. From the phone consult to the appointment, the team was very helpful, reassuring and instantly made me feel comfortable. Seamless process and a smooth recovery which I think is a testament to their quality of work.

Negative experience: Had two crowns and an implant done with them, within two months, there's this ugly black line between my gum and the crown as there's a gap, and a few months later, the other crown is loose. They also messed up my appointments wasting my time multiple times, the implant journey wasn't smooth sailing either, basically I couldn't tell you what they did right. I've had to pay another dentist to remake a crown, and glue the other one back. Very disappointed, will not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I was incredibly nervous about my appointment for a broken tooth and ended up needing a root canal — not exactly what I was hoping for! I was so anxious I even cried in the chair, which is something I’ve never done before. But the whole team were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly, kind, and incredibly patient with me, constantly checking in to make sure I was okay throughout the entire appointment. One of the best things was the TV on the ceiling — such a clever distraction! Watching Harry Potter during a root canal is definitely a first, but it made the whole experience so much more manageable. Fantastic experience: I had many different dentists through the years and it was my first time here. Honestly, the best dental experience I have ever had. The place is very nice, tidy and clean. Yashika welcomed me in a warm, gently and friendly way. She explained me step by step what to do and what to expect, in a very professional way. With Paul I felt a great connection and the same professionalism. They were both impeccable. They talked to me very clearly through the process, explaining me what I needed to know. At the end they give me also some tips on how to maintain my teeth and improve. X-rays, photos, check-up and cleaning at a good price. Not the cheapest but the quality is very high! It's worth it. What can I say? I felt like I was at my best friend's house: relaxed and comfortable but also in very professional and capable hands. As I said, best experience ever.

Dr Paul's bed side manners are unparalleled. I truly he felt he cared, and he was with me every step of the way, essentially releasing all the anxiety I had. Dr Paul has a unique ability of communicating details of complex procedures using simple language, all the while demonstrating immense knowledge and experience in his field. Dr Paul's clam collected nature during the procedure, and his ability to command all aspects of the room (leaving nothing to chance), coupled with his frequent checkins with me (which made me feel like he understood exactly what I am going through) makes him one of the few masters in his field. I highly recommend Dr Paul for any type of surgical dentistry including implants, extractions, general cleaning etc. Thank you for making my experience a memorable one.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been a bit anxious about going to the dentist because of some bad experiences in the past, but Dr Vicuna and his team have completely changed that for me! I had my teeth cleaned a few weeks ago and recently came back for an adhesive restoration. The left side of my mouth is super sensitive, and I really appreciated how Dr Vicuna took the time to check in with me constantly and prioritise my comfort. I didn’t feel a thing the entire time! He’s not only incredibly skilled but also kind and reassuring, which made such a difference. The clinic itself is spotless and modern, with all the latest equipment—it really feels like a one-stop shop for everything dental. Plus, the dental assistant who helped me was so lovely and made me feel at ease.

Negative experience: Serious warning here : I was told I needed several expensive procedures done. TWO dentists gave a second opinion, and noth dentists said NONE of the proceedures were needed. Avoid this dentist. He wants your money and will give you root canals and crowns you don't even need. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Update: Can not respond to their reply for some reason. Regarding names, I am using my niece's account to maintain anonymity. Patients are all begged to add a good review here. They have a sticker on the counter and almost make it impossible to leave without giving a review. I think the reviews here are not a true reflection of the thoughts of most patients. But you can make up your own mind. I'm just trying to help others.

Negative experience: This is absolutely a nightmare in my life. Paul has no idea what he is doing. I just went to treat three painful teeth. He destroyed one of my teeth, put a crown on it, and asked me to buy a dental retainer. These actions were just for profit. He did not treat the pain of my three teeth at all, and he did not know how to treat it. Because of the delayed treatment, the tooth pain made me cry all night. In his clinic, the tooth pain and the heart pain caused by the overdose of anesthetics injected by Paul made my limbs tremble and numb, so that I had to call an ambulance. For more than a month, my teeth were severely inflamed. Eating, drinking, and brushing my teeth were all very painful for me. I couldn't live... Paul wanted me to pay to start the treatment again. It cost me $3000 for one tooth. He refused to refund the money. I asked him for the treatment records. I wanted to see another doctor. I paid for the treatment. I have the right to take my own treatment records. He refused to provide the treatment records and slandered me for wanting to get free treatment. The behavior is disgusting. They have no heart and no eyes to see the pain they bring to the patients. They only have profit in their eyes. I had to seek help from other dentists. I was lucky to meet Dr. Lin at Yu Smiles Dental in Box Hill. She helped me solve the tooth pain problem quickly that day. She is a great doctor, very professional and responsible. I am very grateful for her help. I no longer cry all night because of tooth pain. Yu Smiles also provides patients with very detailed treatment records, so that patients can clearly understand every step of the treatment process. In Genesis Dental, Paul has too many false five-star reviews. He refused to provide any treatment records to patients. His reason was that he would only provide them to the next doctor. However, in Australia's Freedom of Personal Information Act, everyone has the right to take away all their own information. In the treatment record email that Paul transferred to Yu Smiles Dental, there were only some rough handwritten records, and there were no professional and detailed treatment records. There were really no original photos of my teeth in the email. You can imagine what kind of process I went through in Pual's clinic. Don't put your life in the hands of such people. They are not worthy of trust. Stay away.
