Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Terry for the last 20 years, I wouldn’t trust my teeth or my family’s to anybody else Over that time I’ve had fast braces which were amazing, veneers and general dentistry The absolute best !

Negative experience: I had my Fastbraces done with Terry in 2019 and 5 years on my teeth alignment are not bad. The team at this clinic are very detailed, hence why I have introduced my family to this clinic for their dental check ups etc and also friends for Fastbraces. The reason why I am posting this 1 star review years later (I don’t usually leave reviews, this is my second ever Google review) is due to the complications I have with my gums. After a painful 6-7 months of braces, I finally had a nice smile, to which Terry recommended composite bonding to 3 of my front teeth to lengthen the teeth and achieve an even nicer smile. Prior to braces, I’ve been to this clinic for dental check ups so I had about 1 year's relationship with the team and trusted everyone. The bonding was beautiful - except one didn’t seem to have a smooth finish and has had staining about a few months in, to which I have advised Shaun to help smooth it down, but still not as smooth as the other two teeth. After all this, the lady at reception (I don’t remember her name, but she’s a Korean lady and Terry’s girlfriend) recommended a whitening gel since by teeth were quite yellow after braces. She had advised that “it will hurt but keep it on for as long as you can”. No one had advised me of the potential dangers of using this gel, which I later found out is basically bleach. There were no written instructions given to me with the gel either, so as I had trusted everyone at this clinic, I listened to their advice. This caused chemical burns (holes) to the gums of my top/front teeth, in between 6 teeth - I now have 5 black triangles there. I called up and went back the next day to see 2 or 3 different dentists and all were giving me to what I felt at the time, “excuses” - either they as dentists have left it on overnight and not caused the same issue, or told me that I have a family history of gum regression etc. I did not have any gum recession at these locations prior to the burn. No one acknowledged the issue or provided a solution or potential solutions that I could choose from (as I have now done my research and there are a few ways to help reduce the appearance of black triangles). It was just a “you have to deal with this” kind of attitude and use lots of salt water rinses. That was it. I have had complications since with my gums and they are always sensitive and painful. I cannot eat spicy or strong flavoured food, and the holes only get bigger even though I brush and floss very diligently every night. My smile is no longer nice and I’m always conscious about it. Should anyone in a dental clinic, regardless of qualifications be recommending products, especially a bleach with dangers? As I mentioned, I’m not questioning the skills of this dental clinic, otherwise I would not have referred anyone, but more the responsibility and attitude after my services were complete and an issue arose.

Fantastic experience: Terry is so highly skilled. Do not get braces before getting an opinion from Terry. I initially went elsewhere and unnecessarily extracted my child's teeth on bad advice. Terry now has to fix their mistakes. Terry has also done my veneers twice in the past two decades and other dentists always remark how great they look. When the other dentists find out Terry did them, they usually say, yes Terry is the best.

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate to find Terry Wong nearly three decades ago. I soon had onlays, whole day appointments to remove black fillings porcelain teeth etc. Terry has become well known for complex problem solving. I'm so glad he didn't become a hairdresser. Once when I lost a filling in India I began thinking of him nearly every day. It was a huge filling but no problem. One of the things I love is is wonderful manner. He is always polite humble and knowledgable. Because of him I have all my teeth bar one. I now see his offsider. Shaun is like a chip off the ol' block. Meticulous. Intelligent. And an excellent surgeon. I always leave deeply grateful and feel blessed to have had such expert care. You can't go wrong.

Fantastic experience: I travelled interstate to see Dr Terry Wong to restore my smile after a botched porcelain veneer job done elsewhere. The previous dentist drilled away most of my enamel using outdated methods and I was left traumatised by the experience. For the restoration, I decided to opt for composite bonding for numerous reasons but primarily for its predictable results as adjustments could be made while in the dentist chair. The brief I gave Dr Wong was rather specific and unorthodox. I'm a picky person when it comes to producing the most natural result possible, but he was willing to take me on and squeeze in an appointment on his day off which I am so incredibly grateful for. He fully understood the assignment and diligently spent 5 hours working on my teeth without a break, making sure I was satisfied with them. I was completely blown away by how lifelike they look! Function-wise they also feel like my real teeth and I haven't experienced any sensitivity so far (one of my major concerns) unlike my previous veneers. You truly are in safe hands with Dr Wong. He has highly specialised skills in composite bonding coupled with a natural artistic flair that is so rare in dentistry. If well taken care of, the bonding will last just as long as porcelain veneers - if not longer. Just look at Dr Wong's strong track record. Fantastic experience: I love 4 hours away from smile to go but I wanted a quicker option with having braces and after a google search I found smile to go. I had an idea of what I wanted and he was very professional in creating an action plan for my makeover. Years of being a serious grinder when stressed, my smile was something I had become very self conscious of. We first fixed the misaligned teeth using fast braces which only had to be on around 5 months and then he crafted 8 custom resin veneers for me. Fantastic experience: My orthodontic treatment experience with Smile to go was amazing. I started my Fast Brace on the 14th/January/2021, and came back and visited Dr. Terry every 3-4 weeks. I really enjoyed and looked forward for each visit, not only because my teeth were getting better and all the staff were friendly and professional, but also I'm able to get a new set of rubber with different colour! It only took 6 months for the whole orthodontic treatment! My braces was removed on the 13th/July/2021. It was way too quick, I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my colourful braces. But I do really really love the way my teeth look now, and it's easier to keep them healthy and clean. Highly recommended !!!!!

Fantastic experience: My 12 year old son first saw Terry for a consult in July 2021. Within a fortnight (5th August) my son started the process of Fast Braces with Terry. We visited every 3 weeks and the changes were almost instant. Such lovely and professional service! My son’s braces journey was completed within 19 weeks, he had a retainer fitted that he needs to wear at night for 6 months then it will be just 20 minutes a day. Terry and his team are friendly, caring, honest and take the time to explain the situation and treatment options. Terry has shown immense interest in my youngest daughter and identified that her mouth breathing and enlarged tonsils has contributed to her open bite. He referred us to an ENT who removed her tonsils and adenoids, allowing her to breathe through her nose and assume the correct oral posture. For the many years that I have been considering braces, every dentist I've seen, without hesitation or consideration (very much a cookie cutter approach) has always advised that my crowding is sever and would require teeth extraction. I wasn't keen on extracting healthy teeth and risking an end result with a sunken facial profile. Coming to know of Fast Braces, I took up the courage to book in a session with Dr Terry. I was so relieved by Dr Terry and his team's friendly, welcoming and reassuring manner, as well as Dr Terry's gentle bed side manner - constantly checking in to ensure that I was ok during the adjustments. All my anxiety and embarrassment with dental visits became non-existent at the clinic. Dr Terry is extremely patient, taking the time to understand my concerns. There was no intimidation or pressure to get anything done - just a great conversation filled with lots of facts, and his passion and belief that I absolutely have an option. I was also very impressed with his honesty that new technology need not be priced up, which is very considerate as getting braces is a luxury. The clinic is clean, and fresh feeling with new technology. After only a very short nine months (compared to traditional braces of 24-30 months for my case), I have beautifully straight teeth :) I'm so glad that I have found a "forever" dentist :)

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Terry Wong for my dentistry needs for just over 15 years for a variety of complex issues from multiple gum laser removals, resin veneers, referring me on to a specialist for further surgery and recently got my braces off. Fantastic experience: After a bad experience with a previous dentist I was hesitant to visit the dentist on a regular basis; however as I needed a new crown on a tooth I searched for dentists who could provide a "one visit" or "same day" crown. I was lucky enough to find Dr Terry Wong. Despite it being a few days before Christmas, Terry was able to fit me in. I arrived quite nervous about the procedure, but Terry and his fantastic team quickly put me at ease. The procedure was explained, and everything from the initial anaesthetic through to the final fitting was painless. As a highly skilled dentist, Terry was able to save the remaining tooth, and using his incredible machine, was able to manufacture (in about 15 minutes rather than two weeks) an onlay rather than a crown - thereby saving the tooth and also some cash. The two hours passed quickly, and I actually enjoyed watching the onlay being made whilst talking to Terry about other topics. Not only did Terry fix my tooth, he also cured my phobia of dentists. I cannot recommended Terry and his team highly enough; if you don't mind a visit to the dentist or if you are petrified like me, Terry will put you at rest whilst performing an outstanding service Thanks Terry, see you next time.
