Fantastic experience: After a traumatic dental experience in Airlie Beach (currently travelling) to get a tooth pulled out for our 8 year old, we were worried how attempt #2 would go. After researching some kid friendly dentists in Cairns, we were lucky enough to be booked in with Dr Olivia Evans. She was absolutely incredible! So calm, patient and understanding. My son couldn’t believe it was all over so quickly and without any pain. He was so happy and wished she could be our dentist all the time! Thank you so much. We really appreciate it.

Positive experience: Really lovely practice and dentist but $317.50 for a 35 minute check up and clean (no x-rays) was a massive shock.

Negative experience: I recently booked my routine dental cleaning at Precision Dentist, as I do every six months. The dentist who usually follows me wasn’t available, but they confirmed a price of approximately $160 for the cleaning. After the treatment, the dentist led me to the x-ray room for a full-mouth x-ray. There was no mention of additional costs at any point. However, when I went to pay, I was shocked to see that the total bill exceeded $500. When I asked for an explanation, they informed me that I was charged for the x-ray and for some gel applied to my teeth—neither of which I had requested or been informed about beforehand. To make matters worse, once I got home, I realized my teeth weren’t even properly cleaned. While some dentists there are professional, the way the clinic is run feels like a money grab. If you end up with the wrong dentist, you never know what kind of experience you’ll walk away with. Bottom line, they never even apologised about it. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

She is so welcoming, professional, and takes such good care of me when I'm there. its always a seamless appointment - id recommend her any day to anyone who has a bit of a fear of dentists. We have 2 special needs children, one non verbal and Jason is an absolute God send with them both. He takes his time and talks them through what he is doing. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I do not wish to visit dentists ever, however everyone must eventually. My appointment was with Dr. Rachael Lewis who I found was very pleasant and caring as was her Assistant. Rachael took the time to explain, in laymen's terms, what she would be doing that day and at future appointments. Therefore I will return for as many visits with Rachael as she deems necessary to fix my terrible teeth.

Negative experience: I am satisfied with most aspects of this dental clinic, but there seem to be issues with the customer service from the reception desk staff.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Caleb Petre and Cairns Precision Dental enough. He has restored my smile from what it was, to absolute perfection with porcelain veneers. Before I found him I went through multiple dentists and never liked any of them. He has a perfect attention to detail and explains the whole process from start to finish. Over the past two years I’ve had multiple sessions with him as I had to get Invisalign first, and a lot of prep work done before the veneers went on. He is the best in the game, don’t go anywhere else. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: What a delightful dentistal surgery. My experience was tremendous from making my phone call requesting an emergency appointment, through to having the work done and walking out the door. My dentist and the nurse had wonderful senses of humour and put me at ease immediately. I’m actually looking forward to going back again (and I’ve spent my life avoiding visiting the dentist!) If you’re a scaredy cat like me, I highly recommend this dental surgery. They look after you. They all seem to be great people.

Fantastic experience: Throughly impressed with the care and attention Dr Jason Lun and assistant Kaitlin provided. I attended for a general check for my aged mother who has severe dementia. Navigating oral hygiene has been playing on my mind. Dr Lun is caring, calm and respectful and looked for options that were the least invasive and suited to current stage in life. Fantastic experience: Love this dentist practice. All so friendly. I HATED dentists and was so nervous about going. I called CPDG because I had been to a another dentist practice a couple of months before that and I was really let down by them who was so unhelpful and it was obvious that dentist was just after money. Well I can across a godsend at CPDG called Caleb. Made me feel so relaxed and at ease and was nothing but helpful. I have a very bad gag reflex and throughout the whole time of going there was very patient with me. Between Caleb and Amanda they have given me a reason to smile again without feeling self conscious about my teeth. They done a fantastic job on my top and bottom dentures. A bit thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would recommend Caleb to anyone.
