Fantastic experience: Dr Alison is the best Dentist I have ever found. She is so professional, kind, caring and genuine. Yesterday I needed a tooth extraction and she just made me feel so at ease. Definitly worth the drive from Canungra to Burleigh.

Fantastic experience: Dr Alison and her assistant (whose name I have already forgotten) are incredible. Dr Alison repaired some of my teeth and I am for the first time in my life wanting to smile showing teeth! I couldn’t be happier. Dental block was so good I couldn’t even tell which tooth she was working on. I’m usually exceptionally anxious in the chair but I felt fine with Dr Alison and her assistant because they both have such a kind and calm demeanour. I’m moving to Brisbane but I will be driving down to Burleigh to continue my dental care here.

Negative experience: I am changing my review from 5 star to one that I gave you two years ago. I went in before Christmas with a broken tooth and asked the dentist to remove it. She refused, as she said it was a good tooth that needed a crown. I asked for a quote, as I make very little money and am not eligible for any benefits. You guys quoted me $800 out of pocket after using the $500 from my insurance. You then couldn't see me until January due to the Christmas holiday period. When I went to pay last week, you charged me $1,100 on top if the $500 insurance. When I questioned the increase she said "Well, the quote was back in December "! You knew I was coming to have the work done in January, so you should have allowed for the $300 increase in cost and warned me. Beware of quotes! Not honoured!

Negative experience: Great dentist in Selina... Phoned reception to enquire about aprox cost for crowns. Receptionist was very rude and problematic. I explained..." I cannot remember my lovely dentists name...she is the lovely new zealand lady" I got...."Well there is nobody here like that" I actually thought, maybe I had called the wrong surgery...even stating that and said thank you, sorry and hung up. Phoned back...established I had phoned correctly the first time??? And was asked my name...she looked at my records to some degree " you were in here just the other day" yes, I said. When I tried to talk about my requirement, I was met with shortness and rudeness...often spoke over and could not get a chance to finish. She basically did not allow me to explain...at one stage saying " you probably don't need a crown, you probably just need composite? ( Suddenly the receptionist is a my treating dentist? I tried to explain...." I spoke to the dentist just a few days ago and she said, if my front tooth goes, this time it will need a crown" she again did not wish to listen and instead told me about the lack of appointments coming up to Christmas....which I did not ask about. I finally communicated my actual request " could I please get a ball-park figure of the crown cost, please"? ...." I will find out and ring you back" ....ok I said. Please bear in mind a decent chunck of my front tooth flew out the day before.....On day 3....still no information....so I called back. Got a ball park figure...told about a lack of appointments ( fair enough) but no effort to book me in or even discuss availability. Result.... Went elsewhere...ended up needing two...happy for the 3 thousand plus to go to somewhere else. Like I say, Selina is a wonderful dentist, but the receptionist, who initially I spoke to, did not want to listen, talked like she was the dentist, was rude and didn't do her job. I may call them back to find out who it was....then again, maybe I will just go elsewhere.?

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dentists at Coastal Dental Care are second to none, they are friendly, kind and professional. The Dentists and Hygienists are amazing, Dr Norah is the best Dentist I have ever been too. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Selina and her assistant were very gentle, kind and thorough in my dental exam and clean today.

Fantastic experience: Professional, welcoming and clean. A pleasure to go to the dentist. Selina showed a genuine interest in my teeth. A check and clean and using a treatment new to me cleaning with a calcium based wash got rid of my coffee stains giving a nice even finish. I look forward to my next 6 monthly visit.

Super kind Hygienist Kirsten did a thorough clean and even takes extra time to show you how to clean the tricky gaps in your teeth. Front staff always welcoming and helpful. Great family dentist. Negative experience: Went in for a check up and clean. Fastest dentist appointment I’ve ever had. Didn’t bother to floss them in the clean. Very fast polish that missed most teeth. Feeling ripped off.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service, the young dentist suggested to pull out my son’s adult tooth saying it was a baby tooth. Also try to get my kids mouth guards for footy and the same dentist couldn’t get it right, had to go back 2 time for it and end up having to go to somewhere else to get it done. My other son’s mouth guard was ready on the 04/03 and didn’t get a call advising it was ready, the administration lady said they try to call once and I didn’t answer so they didn’t try to send a msg or email to let me know until I called them on the 11/03 to find out why I wasn’t advised it was ready! Appalling customer care/service! Wont be taking any of my family back there and will make sure I let all my friends know.

Definitely the best experience I’ve ever had. My dentist was Dr Guerrero Gomez and he and the whole team were so nice. Negative experience: During the years, got worst and worst. 200$ for a superficial cleaning, 20 minutes, still stains and tartar. Seriously? Also, just pushing to make bigger jobs, rather than try to save your teeth. In line with the system. Disgusted

I was so scared about that but lovely receptionist spent time to cheer me and explain what happened after extraction, how to treat after that so gently and firmly. I really appreciate her. Negative experience: Went in with a bad toothache that’s been happening for years. Have tried everything including sensitive tooth paste. Was told nothing was wrong by the dentists after an hour of them painfully doing everything. He put a fishers something over my tooth… not my painful one even after I told him it would probably last a day as I grind my teeth a lot and told him it was the wrong tooth. I left in tears and I’m currently on antibiotics and unable to eat with 6 cuts through my mouth. Sad because I’ve been going there for years.

Negative experience: Hi just feeling a little disappointed after presenting with extreme tooth ache. I wasnt sure what tooth was the problem and I was there about 30mins a few cold tests and a 5 min clean (only on a very small area) cost me $294 and I still had black out toothache after. It wasnt even the correct tooth, so Im out of pocket and still have to get the tooth fixed. Felt there was too much emphasis on upsell to plates, screw in teeth etc. The dentist and assistant were lovely but just feeling a little ripped off.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in around 17 years and anyone in that kind of situation knows they're just at that point where they've just put it off to long. The staff here were very understanding and friendly, they set me up an amazing plan for my further treatment and the prices are a lot lower then I expected. Great work team ❤️

She is meticulous and mindful of my sensitive teeth (from over bushing) and stopped to give me a breather when the ultrasonic was too much for me. Fantastic experience: I recently went to the Coastal Dental Care Burleigh Waters for my annual check up. I had such a pleasant experience. From the moment I met my dentist Selina I was made to feel at ease. She was very gentle with my teeth and not once did I feel it hurt at all. The whole experience from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left I felt like I was part of the Coastal Dental Care family. They look after their clients and are willing to do what they can to help you achieve their dental goals.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist experience I’ve ever had, hands down! I’ve sat in far too many dentist chairs over the years in Australia, the UK, America and Asia, but I’ve never had a more calm, welcoming and well executed visit. Zero credit to my actual teeth here, the dentists and nurses at Coastal Dental are a whole different breed of excellent. Highly recommended, especially if you normally can’t stand going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I am 73 years old and have just had 17 procedures performed on my teeth by Coastal Dental Care Burleigh Waters at the Miami Private Hospital. The end result is that I still have all of my own teeth (no false ones) and now they all look perform and feel wonderful. I am so over the moon with the end result. All the staff and Dr. Nora Ayad are so friendly helpful and are such a delight to deal with. Not only that I was originally quoted for 14 procedures but ended up requiring 17 yet my bill remained the same as the original quote. How good is that. I have never been so happy to have been treated by a Dentist. I can’t overstate how pleased I am with the whole experience and end result and would highly recommend them to anyone requiring dental care. Also I must add that I have experienced absolutely no pain whatsoever. “Awesome”

Any advice given is thorough and communicated well. And all staff I have dealt with are personable and very well organised. My teeth aren't great, despite being diligent with my dental care since adulthood, however I have never been made to feel guilty about this.
