Fantastic experience: Happy Dentistry can’t be faulted! Their communication leading up to the appointment was timely and friendly and they were flexible with my appointment times knowing I needed to travel. Receptionist, dental nurse, and Vicky my dentist, were all warm and welcoming, and all helped to settle my nerves. Vicky took extra care and was so kind, even giving me a little jaw massage at the end because she knew I was a bit sore. I can’t recommend Happy Dentistry highly enough, 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I was on holidays in Melbourne and the last thing I wanted was to spend time at the dentist. But it happened. Fantastic experience: I had my dental check-up here earlier this year, and Dr. Sun recommended that I should use specific toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Following her advice, my tooth sensitivity has improved a lot over the past six months. Last week, I came back for a cleaning and filling, and it was a great experience. There were TV channels to choose from, a stress ball was provided, and Dr. Sun kept checking in on how I was feeling and chatting with me to ease my nerves. Overall, it was a very comfortable dental visit. Highly recommend!

Had a nasty flare-up of periodontitis while traveling—pain kept getting worse. Called the clinic right after my flight, and they squeezed me in same day. Instant relief. Positive experience: I recently had a disappointing experience with another clinic. The dentist who was efficient but rushed through my treatment. He completed the teeth cleaning in just 5 minutes and did the filling in 30 minutes. While I initially thought this quick service would be painless, it turned out to be quite the opposite. I constantly felt an extra filling on my teeth, and it was impossible to stop licking it. To make matters worse, I had swelling on my gum that was both painful and annoying. Thankfully, when I visited Jenny, she immediately understood my concerns and showed great compassion. She took the time to listen to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Jenny expertly polished the excess filling, and I was relieved to find that the swelling had gone down the very next day. Her attention to detail and patient care made all the difference. I highly recommend Jenny for anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients and delivers exceptional work. Bonus, she is multilingual!!!

Negative experience: A very disappointing and painful wisdom tooth extraction experience. I came in to have a wisdom tooth removed. After reviewing my X-ray, the dentist told me that the tooth was vertically positioned and should only take about 30 minutes to extract. However, the procedure ended up lasting three hours. The process was extremely painful. I received five shots of anesthesia and inhaled an entire tank of laughing gas, yet I still felt everything. Dr. Chris tried to forcefully extract the tooth, and the pain was so severe that I cried uncontrollably three times. Only later did he mention that the root was hooked, which made extraction difficult. This made me wonder—why wasn’t this visible in the X-ray from the start? Eventually, Dr. Jenny came in to assist. She gave me two more doses of anesthesia and more laughing gas, and managed to remove the tooth in about 30 minutes. I truly appreciate her help. However, I hope she wears a proper uniform next time—being treated by someone not in professional attire added to my discomfort and lack of trust. After returning home, I felt physically and emotionally drained. To make matters worse, I found that the take-home syringe still had visible blood residue inside. For a dental clinic, failing to ensure basic hygiene and safety is deeply disappointing and unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: I have had several visits with Dr Marcus. I have personally been very reluctant to visit the dentist as I've had issues before with a sensitive gag reflex. I explained this to Dr Marcus and we discussed methods to remedy this before we started the treatment. I was very impressed by his professionalism and care during the entire process of each visit I've had. Dr Marcus makes an effort to explain each procedure before commencing, and allowing me to take any breaks when necessary. Dr Marcus also goes an extra mile, allowing me to listen to some calming music to help ease my nerves, which haven't been necessary the past few visits as I become more confident after each visit. I have also seen significant progress after following his recommended aftercare routine. I used to feel some sensitivity towards drinking cold liquids which has gotten much better now. I would highly recommend Dr Marcus to anyone who might be nervous about a dental check up. I have learnt that importance of dental hygiene and would encourage anyone to visit as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: i don’t usually write reviews, but i had to for happy dentistry because jenny and the team were honestly amazing. i get pretty anxious about going to the dentist—it can be super uncomfortable—but happy dentistry team really made me feel at ease. super kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything to me. i loved jenny’s holistic approach to dental care—she gave great advice on the best mouthwash to use, how to floss properly (apparently i was doing it wrong ), and used a tooth cam to show me exactly what was going on. i initially had a lot of sensitivity and a bit of pain before my initial appointment, quite few fillings later all my issues are resolved and really appreciated how they spaced out my appointments so i wasn’t stuck in the chair forever. the whole experience felt really well thought out and way less stressful than i expected. if you’re someone who gets nervous about seeing a dentist, i highly recommend happy dentistry. jenny and the team are absolute legends!

I came in feeling nervous because I’d heard whitening can hurt, but Dr Sky took the time to explain the process clearly and even cracked a few jokes to make me feel more comfortable (I also loved watching music videos on the TV above me while I got my teeth done) It did hurt a little (as expected) but my dentist was great at checking in with me and adjusting the light to make sure I was comfortable So happy with my results :)

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my experience here, both in terms of the doctors’ competence and their attitude. During my first treatment, the session was frequently interrupted by staff members, not patients, who would directly open the door to discuss next week’s schedule. During my second treatment, the doctor performed two failed X-rays because the images did not align with the location of the affected tooth. I felt dizzy in the process of the X-ray. When she was about to perform the third X-ray, I stopped her and questioned why I had already undergone four X-rays in just two treatments over two days, especially since there are still two more sessions left. When I had a similar root canal treatment in Sydney, only one X-ray was taken before the procedure and one after, but the result is a highly successful surgery. I don’t recommend this hospital to anyone
