It was scary but the team made me feel a whole lot easier with their gentle and efficient approach Dr Mark seems to know what he’s talking about - he obviously loves what he does and is confident and relaxed. he’s also quite a character - that makes you feel safe and it helped me to relax and trust the process My teeth came out excellent. Dr Mark is an absolute Artist and he adjusted my denture a bunch of times for free TOP SHELF job! Negative experience: The experience I had at this dentist was not a positive one. Went for a chipped tooth and ended up having to tell the dentist on how to shape it to look natural as well as feeling embarrassed. I don't recommend it you don't have a good feeling about dentists. In regards to your response, I was not put in for an emergency appointment the next day I made the appointment on the Monday for Wednesday, spoke to someone there to confirm the appointment on Tuesday morning in which I statted it was not an emergency and they said ok that's fine. I also never declined to look at the tooth afterwards nor was I asked. I find it very concerning that no compassion has been shown from your practice since the matter instead it's been defend , defend, defend. This was my experience in my words and how I felt from the experience I am entitled to my opinion and I stand by that.
Hi Sharren, we're sorry to hear you left feeling disappointed with your experience. However, the account and image you’ve shared is in variance with our clinical records. We routinely go that extra mile for each of our patients to ensure they receive quality care and leave happy. While we cannot discuss specific details publicly due to patient privacy laws, we want to clarify that there were important clinical and logistical constraints that can affect treatment outcomes. As you’ve mentioned, you booked in for a chipped tooth. We accommodated your request for a next day booking on short notice. We've checked in with both the dentist and the nurse who assisted him while you were in-chair and you shared your personal constraints and expressed your preference to expedite your time in-chair. Towards the end, the dentist offered twice to shape your tooth to your satisfaction and you declined. After checking out, you came back almost immediately and said you were not happy with the result and asked that the dentist rectifies the appearance immediately. Our receptionist explained that he had another patient in-chair and a queue of others waiting to be seen and offered you a time the next day. But you declined and wanted to be seen straightaway. Again, we accommodated your request and the dentist attended to you as a priority. He provided you a mirror and shaped your tooth and checked in with you if you were happy. You confirmed you were and thanked him and left. Dental aesthetics is a highly subjective area, and the dentist collaborates with the patient to triage and focus on achieving outcomes within clinical and logistical constraints. Regardless, our key point of difference is heartfelt kindness. We are saddened to know that wasn’t your experience. We take feedback seriously and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you to offer a resolution if possible. Optionally, we are happy to help transfer your record to any other practice of your choice that you feel will provide you with the experience you are after. I’ve moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast in the last few years and as such have had to find new doctors, dentists, Physio’s etc. It took 4 or 5 different dentists before I came across Robina Dental Care. As a registered Prosthetist/ Dental technician, I know exactly what I want from a dental clinic. I can happily say that Robina Dental Care is exactly that. They are super friendly, professional and surprisingly low on the pain scale. I’ve now experienced every thing from routine checks and cleans to specialist periodontal work to major surgery and couldn’t be more pleased with the service I’ve received. They are a one stop for everything. The great thing is, all the in house specialists are able to communicate with each other, eliminating the chance of confusion which creates a really great service. I’ve recommended them to a few of my friends and they have also been very satisfied. Even the admin staff are a pleasure to help with and are great for advice regarding insurance management and any other ways to save money. Booked a short notice clean and inspection, processed and confirmed within minutes with ample communication from the many friendly staff all throughout the treatment process and beyond with post treatment checkups! Fantastic experience: Remon Mekaeil has been our family dentist for approximately 15 years. Why? Remon always ensures you are comfortable before proceeding, by having a chat. He shows genuine interest in his patients. Our son required braces as a teenager and Remon was fantastic during the process. He has also assisted our daughter to organise surgery for the removal of her wisdom teeth as an adult. We have followed Remon to 3 different dental practices over the years due to his professionalism and his gentle and kind nature. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of another dentist since childhood but unfortunately he no longer does general dentistry. Dr Remon has always been a dentist I've known since he used to work at previous practices with my old dentist and so I figured it was time to give him a shot.
