Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Robbie and the team at Finesse Dental for I think 15-16 years. I have various complex chronic medical issues that have resulted in many hours in the practice. I have only ever had positive experiences at Finesse, despite the on and off levels of pain and problems. Everybody is friendly, caring, patient and professional. Hannah consults with Robbie whenever I’ve seen her as I’m a rare duck with many gold fillings being my only course of action. When an urgent situation arises, it’s swiftly sorted. My husband left his dentist after dodgy work, and Robbie sorted it out. The team are great with kids. My kids, now late teen/early 20’s, have had some dental issues, but have only ever been happy to see the Finesse team. I highly recommend Finesse Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Dr Robby since 2012 and he is by far the best dentist I have ever come across - and I have seen MANY different dentists and orthodontists over the years until I met Dr Robby. From fillings to root canals, bridges and crowns, and most recently cosmetic dentistry, I have always been 100% happy with the results. As a person who has a huge fear of dentist due to many bad and very painful experiences in the past (which included criticism about my teeth that made me incredibly embarrassed to see a dentist or just smile in photos), Dr Robby has always been very professional, kind and positive towards me and never made me feel bad about the state of my teeth. Now after the cosmetic work he completed, I no longer feel embarrassed and I’ve received so many compliments about my smile. All I did was make a booking, have a face to face consult and everything after was taken care of by Finesse Dental. Fantastic experience: I came to Finesse dental to get a gold crown done to replace a chipped tooth, and highly recommend! I was with Dr Awad. It took about two and a half weeks between the initial removal of the tooth/X-rays and the installation of the gold crown, throughout which my temporary tooth lasted entirely. I’ve had the crown for about 5 months now and it’s settled in very well, it feels good and strong like a regular tooth. Finesse dental are very professional and are now my regular dentist office. If you do choose to get a gold crown instead of the typical one, be aware that metal is a conductor of temperature and so you will feel slight sensitivity at times when drinking/eating cold foods, but you get used to it very fast and it shouldn’t affect your daily life. I’m extremely happy with my tooth and if you are considering gold teeth this is the place to go :)

Fantastic experience: My implant with Dr. Robby Sehmi was very successful and is healing well. To my amazement and delight, I had minimal pain or discomfort on the first day after the surgery, which took very quickly, and I have had zero pain thereafter, especially coming from a person with zero pain tolerance level. I can’t wait for the actual tooth to be implanted in a couple of months. Dr. Robby is very professional and an expert in the world of implants. He explained to me the procedure and patiently answered all my questions and concerns, which calmed me down especially feeling very nervous and anxious prior to and during to the surgery. I also would like to commend all the friendly staff, especially Monica, who have extended their excellent care and attentive patient service to me, making me feel like family. I was also able to use my superannuation to pay for my procedure, which is great, as not all clinics go through this avenue. Explained in detail where they needed improvement and even though they are somewhat loud, we were all treated so kindly and staff very patient. I was very anxious about the implant procedure, but Dr. Robby was very patient and spend a lot of time trying to explain the whole procedure with visual effects. His assistant Britney and service manager Monica was very caring, kind and always available to help. My denture implant was a complex procedure that required around 12 sittings. I had seen the OHT therapist Brit and I would strongly recommend her! She was attentive to detail, knew her job but most of all very caring. Fantastic experience: The staff were so lovely, our dentist was very patient with the children whenever they weren’t comfortable they were given breaks, and she also clearly explained what was happening and what to look out for in the future.

Positive experience: I certainly would have given 5 out of 5 but as a retiree & pensioner the money I paid for high quality work was almost 4 months of my pension hence, I could not go on for further work. Dr Robbie did decrease my invoice when I pointed out that my son in law had had the same work done for cheaper. That was a relief. His clinical & physiological dental knowledge was outstanding as was his dental work. Shame I wasn't still employed.

Negative experience: I had some restoration work done on my front teeth and the finished product is outstanding. The colour and shape looks completely natural. Couldn't be happier :) EDIT: This was my original feedback after having the work done at Finesse Dental however, one year on I have had this restoration break 5 times. Two times it was repaired at Finesse Dental and two other times I had it repaired with another dentist. In the last week it has broken again and I came across my review from a year ago whilst looking for a dentist to have this whole restoration re-done and decided to update the review to more honestly reflect my experience. Whilst the restoration looked good at the time it was done, there is definitely something wrong with the underlying construction of the repair I had done at Finesse Dental.

I called Finesse Dental and they had the problem fixed for me within days. The tooth looks great for my many daily zoom meetings. They were also able to help with my health fund rebate. I had come into Finesse dental wanting to somehow get a bad veneer job fixed. My teeth were so bad I was constantly hiding my smile. Prior to this, I was bullied as a child and teen due to my "buck teeth", this took a huge toll on my self worth and for years I was unable to show my teeth to the world. It was my biggest insecurity. I had braces for years, but then damaged some of my front teeth overseas during a bad time in my life.
