Fantastic experience: Visited The gentle dentists Dr Sophie with a lot of concerns regarding procedures carrued out by my previous dentist including cosmetic work which had been botched leaving a fear of visiting the dentist. Going to see The gentle dentist was a completely different experience from stepping foot in the door you are greeted with kindness at the front desk and it carrys on throughout the processes. Today I felt that Dr Sophie had taken extra measures to ensure my understanding of what was required so there was no shock costs involved and when carrying out the procedure she was kind, gentle and concerned about my comfort checking in regularly to see if I was travelling ok. She speaks nicely to her dental assistant which at my last dentist was another thing I was disgusted over. Honestly I was surprised to leave a dentist actually happy considering how horrible my journey had been in the past leaving me scared to visit a dentist. The fear today was met with comfort from both Dr Sophie, the lovely Dental Assist and friendly front desk staff. The overall visit left me thinking wow, I'm not scared anymore therefore I would highly recommend visiting the Gentle Dentist to family, friends or anyone who needs dental help. The gentle dentist emulate their name and are of quality standard. Thanks heaps Dr Sophie and team...much appreciated :)

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend the Gentle Dentist enough - especially Dr Sophie. After a not seeing a dentist for quite a few years, I had a painless consult inc a clean and xrays. I followed up for a couple a pain free small procedures. I have definitely dropped the stereotype fear of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend more highly, Dr Sophie and the nurse were amazing. They were both professional, supportive and calmed my anxiety about treatment. The work was completed quickly and pain free, with my comfort a priority. That has never happened before at any other dentist. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a check up and a filling and was blown away by how lovely everyone was. I have severe dental anxiety and the dentist was so lovely to me and reassured me everything was fine. Even when I was shaking so badly we had to stop, everyone was so patient and reassuring and I never felt like I was an imposition. This was also likely my first filling with the appropriate amount of anesthesia since I've never had one without any pain before - and this was totally pain free. I cannot recommend the team here more highly, if you are even slightly nervous around dentists, this place is a haven.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend the gentle dentist enough. The dentist explained evething from price breakdown, options of what to do, what the procedures are, what could happen and when it came to the actual process he was reassuring and constantly checking how I was. Overall such a pleasant experience especially considering I had an infected tooth pulled.

Positive experience: The staff were all very pleasant as always, but i didn't feel like the hygienist I had this time was very confident during my cleaning so I left feeling not as clean as usual. But I will continue to come here as I have for years and have no complaints otherwise. I do wish there was no gap payments with my NIB membership though so if we could remove that, I'd give 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: 2 girls worked on my teeth they were super polite and very very fast did not hurt at all and they were super gentle.

Negative experience: Female dentist, Way too rushed. And in my opinion inexperienced. The gentleman dentist there is good and seems passionate about what he’s doing. The female dentist there was extremely rushed. Even asking a question she just speed runs through the answers wanting to get you out the door. Not a good experience second time around. Won’t be going back there in the future.

They spent time to explain the problems concerns for all of our family and the options - pros and cons. They were transparent with there fees. They also cleaned and set up a regular routine check in and plan and reminder of what we need to be doing. Special thanks to sophie who was kind and caring and gentle with our kids who left dentist not scared but excited for there next visit.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant, the dentist was lovely, very thorough and gentle, my DA was vigilant in making sure water didn’t pool up and was clearly very experience. To top off my already great experience, one nurse kept my newborn happy so I could have my teeth cleaned which I was very grateful for as he’s not even usually that quiet at home :D so thank you to everyone at the gentle dentist.

They were fantastic with my daughter, previously at other clinic's always gagged,, cried felt scared anxious and wouldn't open her mouth much so she's never been able to get her tooth fixed let alone a general check up, untill my friend mentioned how good the Gentle dentist is she actual said "they were fantastic" and they truly are fantastic genuinely caring about how my child felt and made her feel safe relaxed and she was even calm getting the needle which she had to have 2 and let them do the 2nd one even I couldn't believe it I was genuinely impressed about how they went about handling my daughter's while situation and I definitely would recommend these guys to every one , and yes this is now my whole families general dentist I definitely take my hat off to you all there at the general dentist thank you. #appreciated.

Fantastic experience: After not seeing a dentist for some time I was really apprehensive and anxious going to see a dentist essentially needing wisdom tooth extracted…. from moment i stepped in The Gentle Dentist clinic, i was already at ease as it had no dentist/ hospital like odour to it, the receptionist staff kind, friendly and understanding assured me the dentist is real gentle. At the time of my appointment while having slight panic attack the whole procedure from walk in to done was like a breeze, from local anaesthetic to tooth pull, felt merely anything and Dr was done :) Thank you kindly for looking after me and reassuring me i be fine. I definitely recommend the dr to child or adults. I will be back next for a deep gum clean :)

Payment plans are great if you don't have private health insurance. The dentists are lovely, making me feel relaxed and they are very helpful in working out all your dental needs.

Positive experience: I was very apprehensive walking into the Gentle Dentist at Mount Warren Park. As I needed a tooth extracted, it had broken off and was close to the gum line. I'm thinking, cut the gum, that's going to hurt! But doctor Sophie was my hero. The injections were so so, and out came what tooth was left. No pain! Now what is terrific is that the side of my mouth was not pulled and stretched.

Fantastic experience: Very good, I like the use of cheek vibrator so I can't feel the needle( not everyone like this). The high pitch sounds of the tools usually hurt my ears but they let me put my ear buds in and listen to music and the work is done before I know it.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for approx. 3 years. When I initially joined, I had not been to dentist for about 5 years so naturally I was quite nervous. However staff were very friendly and understanding. They put together a treatment plan and listed work in order of urgency. I found quotes to be very reasonable and in a couple of instances if the work was not as complex as originally thought, the dentist reduced price accordingly. Yesterday I went in for my 6 monthly check up + clean and as always received professional service with a smile. Because I returned in 6 months for my clean I even received a discount which was a nice surprise, and I was given freebie samples. I find the staff at this practice to be genuine and honest and I highly recommend The Gentle Dentist.
