Fantastic experience: Adrian may not know it, but he has helped me to overcome a debilitating fear of Dentists. It is great to be able to trust someone, in fact the whole practice, in his profession again after decades of neglecting my dental health. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Have always been terrified of the dentist but I have now been to Dr Robert a few time I feel less anxious and more comfortable sitting in the chair each time both Dr and dental assistant once in the chair make sure your their main focus and very empathetic. Dr Robert listens to your concerns and answers each question thoroughly and in a way I can understand. The staff at the front are nothing but lovely from the moment you walk in to the second you leave and even after.

Fantastic experience: Just returned home after having a tooth pulled out, Adrian was fantastic, friendly and got the job done with no fuss. Can’t recommend him highly enough. The whole team there are just great.Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We’ve had a variety of treatments done, from routine scale and cleans and x-rays to fillings, teeth whitening, and even wisdom teeth removal. Fantastic experience: When I needed a local dentist, I asked the Byford Community group for recommendations and 5 out of 8 responses highly recommended Marri Gum Dental. I then looked at the website and found it to be very informative particularly the profiles of both dentists. You get a warm feeling when you drive into the practice which is reinforced by the lovely greeting from Sarah and the other girls on the Reception desk. I then saw Adrian and we had quite a chat about what work I needed and the plan going forward. All the work has now been completed and I am very happy with the outcome. Fantastic experience: I have had an excellent outcome after my crown and post became loose due to a bad underlying tooth. Adrian referred me to Dr Medi, at Vision Periodontics, who recommended an extraction and an implant. It was a lengthy process but successful with an excellent implant. Adrian completed the new crown installation and after settling down I don't even notice it. It is a perfect match with my existing teeth. My thanks to Adrian and the team for an excellent job. I highly recommend Adrian and Vision Periodontics for great work and excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Don't usually leave reviews but I Went for the first time today and honestly it is by far the best clinic I have visited. They were able to squeeze me in early morning for a review and from the moment you walk in, to the treatment and advice it is all of high standard and quality. Sarah kept in contact with me to get my anxious 6-year-old old daughter in for an emergency appointment, which she managed to get me in on the same day not the following day. Dr Robert was great in ensuring my daughter knew exactly what he was doing and when. Friendly smiling staff. Great clinic.

Negative experience: They have filled 10 of my teeth a couple of years ago. One of the filling came out leaving a big cavity and a super sensitive tooth behind. When I rang up they they said they were fully booked for 4 weeks and wouldn't cancel a clean or a check-up to help me out. Just wait for weeks to see if gets infected right? Thanks a lot. So instead St. John in Armadale took care of it for them

Fantastic experience: Ive been attending Marri Gum Family Dental for a couple of years now. The dentists there are always very kind and make me feel at ease. My 7 year old had his first appointment there recently and was feeling very anxious and stressed. The Dentist was so patient with him and focused on making him feel safe and comfortable before starting any dental work. I would highly recommend this dental practice for both kids and adults.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my children since they were 2 years old to see Rob. I did this, so that my children would become familiar and comfortable, due to the negative experiences I have had as a kid with dentists. Initially both my children were not keen to even go into the room let alone sit on the chair. My daughter especially, as she would not even sit on my knee on the chair or let Rob anywhere near her mouth. When there Rob would greet and talk to them with a smile and make the experience as positive as he could. I kept up regular 6 month checks....when possible thanks to covid. My daughter is now 5 and my son now 3 and for the first time EVER, both my kids let Rob look in there mouth. My son lay on the chair happily, while my daughter sat on my knee. Its thanks to the patience off the staff and regular check ups that my kids will now have their mouths looked at. Thank you

Fantastic experience: For someone that's been absolutely terrified of the dentist and not seen one in many years about 17yrs I started seeing Adrian about 2 yrs ago and he definitely has made me now live seeing the dentist today I seen him in alot of pain due to a wisdom took given me grief he examined my teeth and said to me yes that wil need to come out me thinking I would have to return at a later date he was able to remove right there n then I was blow away that was able to remove my wisdom tooth pain free and within mins I couldn't be happier with the Care a service Adrian and his team provided thanks you all so much

Fantastic experience: Dr Adrian has been amazing over the last 12 months. I used to fear the visit to the dentist and would put it off until I had a problem. Dr Adrian kindly and empathetically treated my teeth in stages so as not to overwhelm me, including a tricky extraction and a great implant to replace the missing tooth. Fantastic experience: A great dentist. A team that is friendly and works well together. The dentist went above and beyond to find the problem I had. He gave me options and fast solutions. They were very reassuring and professional and had the greatest concern for my pain and expertly managed my pain when needing to pull my tooth. Negative experience: Today I visit this clinic and had very bad experience with DR ROB. Unfortunately that was last appointment DR was tired and more interested in discussion, DR was not confident enough to his work creat doubt in my mind regarding his skills. Unnecessary X-ray done for accumulate money as I presented my records to the clinic. I won’t recommend this DR ROB to any of of my friend or family members.

But as soon as I entered I felt welcomed and comfortable. Dr Adrian and Team acknowledged my anxiety and through their professionalism, understanding and knowledge I had the best Dentist appointment I've ever had, even more so I have happily booked my follow up appointments with no hesitation. Positive experience: Rob remembered that I don't like dentist and especially needles before arriving to have tooth removed. Spoke me through everything and made sure I was ready to commence and once finished sat and talked to me and provide the relevant after care. Then later in the day got SMS making sure ok and then follow up call on Monday. The TLC during, after and follow up call is well worth the appointment with Marri Gum for any dental work. Dr Eng explained everything extremely well and made my 6 year old daughter actually enjoy the experience, she was chuffed to get praised for her calmness and co-operation and even got a special high 5! Fantastic experience: Due to a previous unpleasant experience I hadn't been to the dentist for years but I couldn't put it off any longer and although recommended, I reluctantly made my way to Marri Gum. However since then I go every 6 months, Rob and Adrian (the dentists) are amazing, they put you at ease and it is no longer a nerve racking thought. The reception staff and hygienist are also great. If you are nervous of dentists I would urge you to go here.

Both Dr Rob & Dr Adrian go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They explain step by step what they’re doing & with their up to date technology are able to show you exactly what is going on with your teeth & explain ways to help improve them. I have never enjoyed going to a dentist before - until my recent experiences with Marri Gum. Thank you so much Dr Rob & Dr Adrian & staff! :-)

Fantastic experience: After having a bad experience personally at another Dentist in the area, I'm so glad my family found this Dental surgery. Both Dr Adrian and Dr Rob are fantastic at their jobs and do their utmost to put you at ease. My daughter is Autistic, the time taken and care Dr Adrian afforded her today was second to none. She even gave him a thumbs up from the chair whilst he was doing the work.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentists who care about the patients they are seeing. I can’t speak highly enough of them. My children all get their dental work done at Marri Gum. We normally see Dr Robert Eng but today we had to see Dr Adrian Eng and he was just as professional and gentle on my son as his brother. They have a great way of putting children at ease with having dental work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Oh and the rest of the staff are wonderful as well!!!!

Fantastic experience: Rob and everyone who works at MG Dental are professional and caring. The first time I went I was a nervous wreck as I had had bad experiences with Dental treatment, however Rob talked me through each step of the process and gave me confidence that I had some control and could stop at any time if I was uncomfortable. I can now attend appointments without having sleepless nights and so I would recommend them to anyone but especially people who have a fear of Dentists. Thanks to all.

Fantastic experience: This clinic is brilliant. Rob and the team are always welcoming and understanding. I’ve had some ordinary experiences in the past with Dentists and feel so fortunate to have found Marri Gum… I’m much less nervous and at ease when seeing Rob. He explains everything and is the most gentle dentist. Fantastic experience: Being in the elder age group group means I went through the horrors of the dentist in earlier days and am still terrified to go to the dentist. Dr. Adrian has been so patient and gentle with me meaning I can go back regularly. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Dr Rob and his awesome staff. After recently having a very painful bad experience with another dentist at another practice, I was obviously very anxious. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Marri Gum Family Dental clinic. I'm an extremely anxious person, especially when it comes to the dentist. The team at Marri Gum Family Dental continuously go above and beyond to ensure I understand any procedures required and that I'm comfortable prior to proceeding. I recently had a tooth extracted and was a nervous wreck prior to the extraction, the team made me feel at ease - one lady even held my hand during the extraction to help with my anxiety. It was a pain free and fairly quick procedure. Thank you so much for making me feel calm, answering all of my questions and providing fantastic service.

Fantastic experience: I can’t lie. I did cry, but not the whole time. I wasn’t crying when I left which for me is amazing!! On the recommendation of my friend, who attends Marri, thought I had nothing to lose when my old dentist left my previous practice while was used to me and knew how nervous I was. Must say I loved being told what was happening every step of the way by Robert, it helped immensely. I have a month to psych myself up again for my next visit which I’m sure won’t seem as traumatic leading up to the appointment. Don’t think this a negative review, as you can see I’ve given them 5 stars due to the running commentary, ( for me a huge bonus), the friendliness of the staff and the fact I was in control and could say stop at any time. I didn’t even need sedation which I’ve had to have in the past even for a clean and filling. Thanks Marri for making my visit less traumatic than previous dental practices.
