Fantastic experience: Blackburn Family Dental has been great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it’s always a great experience…even when you’re getting holes drilled in your teeth . No question is ever too silly and they’re great with the kids! 10/10 - highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Coco. She was very professional during my checkup and clean. I mentioned some sensitivity I’d been experiencing, and she took the time to explain the possible reasons behind it in a way I could easily understand. She applied some desensitising paste and since my appointment, the sensitivity has completely gone away! I really appreciate her care and attention – highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: To be honest ive never liked visiting the denist since i was a child. BUT; DR Sam Seet & the team made my experience my so much better! I came in super anxious and nervous but straight away I was reassured everything will be okay and I was treated in a very friendly but professional manner. Really makes a difference when the DR takes their time to listen and get to know the patients needs. Could not recommend Dr. Sam Seet and this place enough!

Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a dentist who is good with kids my seven year old saw Dr Samantha at Blackburn Family Dental Care and she was amazing. My daughter had her teeth cleaned and her mouth x-rayed and Dr Samantha couldn't have done any more to make her feel at ease. The clinic is in a convenient location, they are open in the evening and all the staff I've spoken with are friendly and professional. Dr Samantha and the team at Blackburn Family Dental Care make visiting the dentist a pleasant experience.

Reception ladies are kind and helpful, they smiling at you every time you entry the clinic. This clinic is highly recommended to whom live locally and worthwhile if you live a bit far away.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience getting my first crown fitted by Dr. Andrew. He was highly skilled and efficient, completing the process in just two appointments within a week, right before Christmas. Although I experienced some sensitivity after the initial fitting, the crown felt completely natural after just two weeks. Thank you, Dr. Andrew, for making the entire process so smooth and comfortable!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. Andrew! I never thought visiting the dentist could be so easy and painless. Dr. Andrew is the most meticulous, responsible, kind, and gentle dentist I’ve ever met. Initially, I couldn’t get an appointment with him and had to see another dentist for a filling, my teeth were sensitive and it hurt for two weeks after. I had to return to Dr. Andrew. He patiently redid the fillings on both my upper and lower teeth in two sessions, asked his assistant to follow up with me via phone to check if I was still in pain, and even fixed three more cavities on the other side. Today, I had a cleaning, and it was completely pain-free and very comfortable. The assistant was also incredibly attentive, helping with the cleaning throughout the process. The overall experience was fantastic—though I feel bad that Dr. Andrew’s wrist was sore from all the work. He definitely deserves a five-star review! I’m truly grateful!

Fantastic experience: I had infected tooth and decided to book appointment at Blackburn Family Dental Care after seeing so many 5* review. I ended up having a root canal procedure under the care of Dr Andrew Cho. I rarely give review, but I couldn't be happier with the whole experience - top notch care, clear advice, seamless procedure with very minimal discomfort (don't even realise when the procedure has completed). Fantastic experience: First time visiting Blackburn Family Dental as a new patient. Dr Slaine was absolutely wonderful, not only thorough and professional but warm and caring. I felt very well cared for, every aspect of my care explained, she took the time to show me the images she had taken and explained treatment needed, including different options. Had a small filling and it was amazing, no pain at any stage. That’s a great dentist!! Teeth sparkling from a super thorough clean too. Delighted with my new dentist and highly recommend.

Negative experience: I gave them a 5 star before but i had to change it to 2 star because of our recent experience. I myself changed to another practice, they without asking me removed my husband’s record as well thinking that he changed practice as well?!?! That’s what they told us just now, they never followed up on him after an xray and now when he needs an appointment they say they dont have his record. What about anything about privacy, how can someone speak for another adult and they didn’t even bother to ask him?

Fantastic experience: I have been using this Dental Practice since 1968 and seen many changes! From Drs Camomile & Whitehead, Dr Staugaitus, Dr Para Paramasivam, Dr Nicole Faris and now Dr Samantha Seet & others. From the 70's, I remember the tropical fish tank at the reception, that was designed to relax you! I also remember having a general anaesthetic in the dental chair before having 6 teeth removed prior to my orthodontic treatment! I was brought up to look after my teeth. My parents had their own teeth all their lives (85 & 93) and were also looked after here. I believe that looking after your teeth, with regular check-ups, is so important to your overall health. All the dentists at Blackburn Family Dental Care have been great and the current ones are no exception. The new premises are on street level, to the right of the original entry to the stairs. The new surgery is very glam! All new equipment & chairs and even a TV on the ceiling to watch during your treatment. I highly recommend you try this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have a mortal fear of going to the dentist growing up, and right from the outset Dr. Sam Seet was incredibly kind and encouraging. She was informative about what was happening, explaining in simple terms the next steps and how to go about it. During procedure, she gave me a lot of reassurance, checked in on any pain or discomfort and even gave me breaks to rest my mouth during the whole ordeal. Overall she was not only professional in her work as a dentist, but gentle and accommodating towards my fears. It was (as far as dental procedures go), as good as it could get.

One of the dentists stayed back so I could be seen for my first visit. On the second visit, the girls in reception were very welcoming and made me feel at ease immediately. Negative experience: never go there again, and not suggested for anyone. they claimed i need a root canal therapy when i went there. I looked for another clinic next day where my teeth was filled only for a little expense without being extracted. Just unbelievable.

Negative experience: Google and this fake biased rating star system should be removed, I don't trust and do not believe so many 5 start they have received, all biased and fake. This is the second time I go to dentist based on Google reviews and on both instances, both densits were of the same country background. Very cheaply operated, equipment out of date, the first and second work I am still having some pain, how in Australia we allow such scruples practice to be conducted, and yet have so many good reviews on the Google. As I have said, they have figured it out that google review scam review is the way to profit. All cared about to book me on the next visit as soon as they found out that I'm on private medicare, it seems they have figured out the loopholes in the system (well you don't need to be that smart to know how and what to do in the current system) and all interested to book me for the two free general check up which they will charge the medicare for such visit. DO NOT GO THERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER....

Dr. Faris and Dr. Alvin Shee are both great dentists with a kind heart and just cares for their clients well. Going to the Dentist can be scary but they have the lightest hands ever when they attend to your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Great family dentist, I have been going here for probably about 25 years, since I was in primary school! All the dentists are very gentle and friendly. The receptionist is lovely and was able to fit me in very last minute for a filling just before I went overseas! The practice is upstairs (I'm not sure if there is disabled access), and is modern and clean. Parking is easy and free nearby, and this dentist are one of Medibanks choice providers.

He discuss the process with you and listen to your feedback, and then find a most suitable solution matching your situation. There is no stress at all. The reason why I changed my famliy dentist to this lovely small clinic, because the previous one tries everything to sale their service and products regardless of what you think ,even you think it was not necessary and urgent, so the whole process was so stressful. The previous one make you feel guilty if you do not accept their proposal. However, I have totally different experiece with this.clinic.
