Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DENTAL CLINIC. YOU SHOULD TRY THIS CLINIC. I had bad experience with my previous dentist but Julia is different. She showed me OPG Xray, explain the problem thoroughly and she even took teeth photos with SLR camera. I actually found that my teeth were not treated properly. Julia fixed them and I feel so good and so happy!! Update from 6 monthly recall with my 2 sons This time I had 6 monthly recall appointment and my 2 sons saw Dr Julia. Cleaning was painless and so gentle. Satisfying as expected. My kids cleaning went well. Julia is super friendly, caring and kind doctor. Highly recommend dentist!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Julia and the Bloom Dental team in Westmead. The quality of service is superb and overall feel from the practice is that its highly professional. I switched to Bloom last year and have been several times and should have made the move earlier. For Medibank Private health insurance policy holders the six monthly checkups are likely to be gap free.

Negative experience: Have been going to this practice for about 10 years was continually impressed with the quality of care and follow ups. Unfortunately, the previous dentist is no longer here and we have since had very poor experiences. The reviews on this place are for the previous dentist, not the current one.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vivian Jeng is incredibly professional and gentle. I had my first-ever dental cleaning here, and it was almost completely painless. She also provides service in Chinese, which made communication so easy. She’s now my go-to dentist—I highly recommend her

Negative experience: Unfortunately, the fillings that were done for my case were not completed properly and have fallen out. The dentist offered to redo them for free the first time, however the filling did not last after being fixed. My filling was completed by both Dr Julia and Dr Vivien. The tooth filling didn’t even last close to a year—probably only 3 to 6 months. They gave a reason, which was my eating habits, claiming that I eat a lot of nuts or hard food, which I don’t anyway. I visited a different dentist from a different clinic in Bankstown, who has since resolved the issue caused by this clinic. So far, the filling from the new dentist has been holding up well. Edit to response If I provide my name to the team. It won't change the outcome. I was quoted by Vivien that I will be charged because apparently it's my fault. Even with I supposively have grinding, tooth and fillings, which I don't anyway. I highly doubt fillings fall off within a month time. When I asked a different dentist in another clinic to fix up the mistake made here. They have advised it could also be a problem during the procedure. Anyways, there is no point of providing my details and I'm sure you may know who I may be. I will be charged again for my visit anyway. I mind as well take my business elsewhere. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I don’t normally write a review but I had to this time as other reviews sound so opposite to my experience with Dr Julia. I had such bad tooth pain after a treatment at another clinic and Dr Julia helped to diagnose and fix the issue immediately. Her staff even called me to check on me the next day. Everything was so smooth and everyone was so nice and friendly. I brought in my 4 year old daughter for first time check up and Dr Julia was superb with her. My daughter had so much fun and is already counting down when we are going back to see her next. If you are looking for a thorough exam and honest opinion, highly recommended to see Dr Julia :)

Fantastic experience: Dr Julia’s an outstanding dentist and a person. 1000% recommend this place to anyone. Her demeanour and professionalism are an absolute credit to the surgery.. I’ve had many dental visits throughout my past life and they all made me felt frightening and worrying and it’s also hard to find the right dentists. My tooth was in absolute pain and Dr Julia kindly soft spoked staying very patiently and explained in each and every details of what’s happening and what she advised or recommended me to do. I’ve asked her so many questions but she did not regret to answer a single thing. It made me felt and believed what she said bc otherwise I would feel like getting money ripped bc I’ve explained what my past dentist told me to do and she told me none of those treatments would cure my painful symptom. After the long decision, I’ve finally gone through my RCT treatment. I had a bad anxiety and worried all night how it would turn out. But oh boy I was wrong and WOW I was fully blown by how calm the procedure went through. It went very ease and appreciated how nicely Dr and her team have done with care respectfully. Few days have passed, my pain disappeared and I’m relieved to eat anything. Please go visit her, you surely won’t regret! Just contact them for any problems the receptionist will kindly respond to you! Also they do no gap for Clean and Check up if you have priv insurance!!

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience at Bloom Dental. The dentist's (Julia) hands were extremely aggressive during the procedure, despite my clear body language showing discomfort and pain. Instead of adjusting her approach, she continued without consideration for my distress. Her communication was also harsh during the consultation, and she seemed unwilling to listen to my concerns. The filling was not done properly, and when I tried to explain how it felt uncomfortable in my mouth, she appeared annoyed and dismissive. She insisted that I just needed to give it more time since it was freshly done, so I waited as advised. However, even now, I still cannot bite on the filled tooth as the pressure and pain are still there. I decided not to return after my previous experience when I went back to address concerns—it's just not worth it. Additionally, I found it unprofessional that they spoke in their own language in front of me while attending to me, making me feel excluded and uneasy.

Negative experience: Disappointed with Service and Unnecessary Charges and Dr. Yejin Jung. I had a disappointing experience at Bloom Dental. The staff did not clearly understand my needs regarding my tooth extraction, and despite my attempts to explain, I felt unheard. On top of that, I was charged for services that I did not need or consent to. Transparency in pricing and effective communication are essential in healthcare, and unfortunately, this clinic fell short in both areas. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a dentist who listens and provides clear explanations of procedures and costs. I was charged 65$ for a 2 min consultation which was also not done properly. Reply to the response: Thanks The your facts might be on point but don’t you think when a patient in need comes to a doctor, he should take care of the patients and ask the right questions and make a meaningful and worthful conversation? Also, the meeting that we had your and your staff’s attitude didn’t let me open up and share my issue so this will be your responsibility and your clinic’s Staff. As we expect more from a doctor. I am not buying a product from woolworths, its my body and care that I need not your irresponsible comments. Process a refund for the visit as it was a waste of time for me and my tooth, I have gained no meaningful experience from it. You have wasted my time. If not I will have to take it to Fair Work and check with them.

Negative experience: I really don't understand how this place has a 5.0 rating because my experience left so much to be desired. Despite corresponding via e-mail, completing the paper registration form during my visit, and providing them with my private health insurance card they still managed to have my name spelt wrong and it was also spelt incorrectly on referrals for imaging and to other providers. Part of the registration process involved signing a consent form for sedation - but when I later (a few months later) had an appointment with the dentist who does tooth extractions I was told that this practice doesn't do anything under sedation and that I would have to have my procedure done elsewhere, but I was also told that it would be a very challenging procedure that I've since managed to get done in under an hour and with minimal fuss. During my initial appointment, the dentist and the nurse didn't introduce themselves until I asked who each of them were, and most of my comments and concerns were ignored during the appointment. The door was left wide open as the dentist probed inside my mouth and performed some cleaning, and I was quite uncomfortable because of tooth sensitivity as well as having people in the waiting room able to see this taking place. I was laughed at when I asked if the door could be closed. As someone who also has "Dr" in front of their name, I expected some professional courtesy at the very least and a bit more of a personal service but it felt very much like they were just getting straight to business once I was in the chair and my mouth was open. Edit: replying to the owner's response isn't possible so I have to edit my original review. I definitely don't have the wrong practice but it's amazing the amount of denial you have for the possibility that I might be right. You don't think I would have addressed the fact that you had my name wrong on multiple occasions? And are you saying this photo isn't a part of your consent form, which clearly talks about use of sedation but probably also isn't really sufficient for consent? Second edit: I don't appreciate having my intelligence insulted. I know where I was when I signed that consent form. Maybe you've changed it since your re-branding, but for sure this was the form I signed when I registered four years ago.

Positive experience: I went today bloom dental to x-ray and tooth cleaning filling tooth x-ray was good. The doctor was explain everything good about my tooth. Cleaning was very painful also bleeding. Doctor doesn’t do any numbness for while my tooth cleaning. ( I have done before My previous some other clinic it never bleeding or pain)

Fantastic experience: My93 year old father had a shocking toothache early hours Saturday morning. Bloom dental was booked out but squeezed him in at 2.45 on the Saturday. There were 3 female staff who my father quoted as angels. They did a root canal and when he was still in pain took more X rays and did a second root canal. He was there until 5.20pm and they stayed back way past their closing time. The best service I have experienced for my elderly father. A huge thankyou to the 3 ladies. We also appreciated the follow up phone call to check on him.

Fantastic experience: I went  to Bloom dental clinic last week. The whole process is amazing and beyond my expectations. Bloom Dental is really efficient and friendly. Julia will not waste any second and just give more most straight forward and honest suggestions without wasting your time and money. She is very professional. The dental clinic is also very clean. The staff there will look after you for your health benefits rather than their interests. Patient will be taken cared by all staff; literally everyone in Bloom dental will help you to make your dental checking process smooth, from the beginning to the end(phone confirmation, friendly welcome in the reception, guided by assistant to arrange your personal belongings and then carefully checked by Julia).They have very professional equipment also(first time i have a dentist taking close photos of my tooth by using camera in checking in addition to X- Ray). It is a down to earth dental clinic that will definitely meet your dental health needs. Most efficient dental clinics ever.

Negative experience: My mum went there to take out her tooth. Unfortunately my mum is in so much pain since last night. The dentist did a very bad job. Please do not go to this place if you want to take your tooth out. Even my mum is saying she did a bad job. It’s not my mums first time taking a tooth out she usually has no pain that much this time the lady has butchered her .

Negative experience: Very stressful experience with Dr Julia. Parking issues and not very helpful. Had a lot of pain during appointment and did not get any attention when wanting to stop. Extremely rude and trying to make us pay more. I definitely do not reccomend this dental care.

Negative experience: Worst experience with Dr Julia. No bedside manner. Zero patient care even with the kid. No introduction , no communication, stressful dental care. Threatening and rude dentist. Definitely her studies and her certifications don’t show her patient care. Never go to this place even with the offer. I guess they give offers because they are losing their customers. Zero care. Parking issues as well.

Fantastic experience: I just had the most thorough clean and exam ever with Dr Julia. I’ve been going to the dentist every 6 months for a regular clean and it was only 10 minutes in and out. Dr Julia took almost 30 minutes to clean up everything that hasn’t been cleaned off properly in the past! Dr Julia showed me the photos and can see it clearly! I guess you get what you pay for. The dentist explains the entire process and why they are doing certain things so I am more aware of what is happening and gave me options and recommendations on how to improve my dental health 2. Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk in the doors you are greeted with a smile and any anxiousness is gone, the service Dr Nancy gives you is explained before she starts your clean or treatment , she gets to know you and your mouth , which I find very relaxing . The clinic sent multiple reminders as SMS for our family appointments, which were indeed helpful & assisted my family in planning the visit.
