Fantastic experience: Go and see Daniel Richards if you want a professional who knows what he is doing. He makes art out of dentistry. I just got composit veneers and he did an amazing job ! Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I had an awful experience during an appointment with Robin at North Shore 1300smiles Townsville. She xrayed one of my teeth and then cleaned my teeth. The cleaning took around two minutes. She skipped many of my teeth, she was in a real hurry. Then she polished my teeth very quickly, just the top set and only on the inside. When I went to pay they charged me $312. When I got to my car and looked at my mouth it was all covered in a thick paste. She didn't even clean my mouth and lips. My face was a mess and my teeth were dirty. I went back to the reception and asked them to fix this problem, it was not worth this money. I was told that Robin had gone to lunch and I can return later after she has her lunch. I went home and looked at their site again and there was a special ad for a check-up cleaning and xray for $249. I called reception again and asked them why they charged me $312 instead of $249? So the receptionist agreed to refund me $63. I asked her to refund me for the cleaning as well because they did not do the job properly. She put me onto the manager who said the same, they would refund me $63. They would not refund me for the cleaning. He tried to tell me that the ad on the website's front page is an old ad, funny thing is the same ad is still there two days later. The manager was adamant he was only going to refund $63. He suggested that I go back to Robin so she can clean my teeth again. I said I am not going to let her work on my teeth and that she is so unprofessional and not responsible. He covered for his co-worker and neglected my concern for this woman working on my teeth again. What a mess this was, I suggest not going to this business 1300 smiles North Shore Townsville. This business shows more importance in money than their clients dental health. False advertising to suck clients in is illegal, I will be contacting the company that operates the franchise.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction with Doctor Robyn Whyte and her team. What at first seemed like a straight forward procedure turned out to be a little more than that. In saying this, the procedure was handled with care and thoughtfulness. I was always updated whilst I was in the chair as to what was happening and would 100% recommend Doctor Whyte and this practice to other patients.

Negative experience: After the dentist reschedule our appointment 3 times, appointment was 50 mins late.

Negative experience: First experience was they removed the wrong teeth of my child, they didn't check the reviewed documents from orthodontist and removed the incorrect teeth, which means my child will have braces a little longer than first calculated. Not a big deal but still unprofessional. In my industry if i made a mistake like that I wouldn't get paid, yet I still paid full cost. Second experience was apparently when they say they have to do a xray when you go in for a teeth clean, you getting charged for it, so keep that in mind, they don't ask they just do.

Negative experience: The dentist asked me what I would like done and I told him that I just wanted a scale and clean, he then proceeded to take X-rays which as expected showed nothing wrong with my teeth. I was then charged almost $360 for something I didn't ask for. I won't be going back!

Negative experience: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF. They charge unnecessarily. Staff including dentist are unhelpful, unfriendly, and did not see me as a client. What concerned me was they did not tell me how much it costed for a procedure saying it is a simple procedure and gave me a $700 bill for a procedure I had !! No value for our time and money. TERRIBLE SERVICE, WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Honestly, I do not want to give any star, only giving it as this is the lowest rating

Negative experience: An old Filling was replaced. The Dentist, Dr Richards, worked so clumsy on that teeth, that he broke another Filling on that same teeth. After, I claimed that his work caused my existing Filling to brake apart, he stated that this isn' t related to his new Filling. After renew the broken Filling, I received an Invoice of nearly 300 $. This is absolute disgrace. Never again. CAN NOT RECOMMEND that Dentist.

Fantastic experience: The service was very good. In for wisdom tooth extraction, very quick and friendly people. Excellent dentist and assistant with pretty much no pain needles and work done. Good prices as well. Highly recommend 1300SMILES - North Shore. Will be going back.

Fantastic experience: I had a general scale, clean and polish and x-ray today with Dr. Sarah Wilkinson. I've had many issues with my teeth in the past and have been to a good many dentists over time. This has been a top three visit today. The dentist, dental assistants/nurses and administration staff on the front desk were nothing but top quality in both personable service and professional service. You have a fantastic team there and I can't say thank you in a google review :) . Thank you!

Tru here again. My third visit to see Steve, who fixed my front tooth amazingly. Last visit a wee filling. All this treatment was done with expertise, no pain and explaining what he was doing all the time. I can sincerely recommend Dr. Stephen Davies to anyone requiring an honest, caring service. Steve is the best, along with all the staff at 1300SMILES North Shore. I have already booked in for next year!

He and all the staff I have met at the clinic are very kind and highly professional . Being a brutal clinic with healthcare professionals after working in the field for 17 years, I can't find any issues with these folks at all! Thoroughly recommend this dental clinic. From the moment I walk in I am always greeted by a sincere friendly face at the reception which is nice considering ones usual anxiety when seeing a dentist. The dentists themselves I have found to be an absolute pleasure. They have been professional, informative and straight up about any costs as well as down to earth persons which I find very important in putting me at ease. I have also been pleasantly surprised how affordable they have been. One of the main reasons in not seeing a dentist has been the expense but I found these guys very well priced but don't skimp on quality of service. All in all I would highly recommend 1300 smiles Northshore for anyone looking for a great family dentist, who puts their patients first from beginning to end leaving them smiling walking out the door.

Negative experience: I came to this dentist 8 months ago and even bought my 2 children and I found it to be professional. However when I called them recently I couldn't believe how rude they were on the phone. The first person I spoke with was so unhelpful. I then asked her if I could speak to some one else to book an appointment. She hung up. I rang back only to speak to the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Her attitude was disgusting, as I was complaining about the lack of service she laughed at me twice down the phone. I was stunned when she informed me that she was the practice manager!! Unbelievable! So rude! Its not even worthy of a 1 star!!! Be warned people and go elsewhere, where they value the clients!!
