Negative experience: To preface this review, I have been a patient at Brite Dental for many years. I always see Dr Ishita—I would recommend her if you want a dentist who is thorough in her work and cares about her patients. (Note: this review is not a reflection of her). However, after my last visit at Brite Dental on Saturday 12th July 2025, I have been left with an extremely negative view towards this practice after a negative experience that is in relation to: lack of price transparency and a dental practice that is money-hungry and takes advantage of their patients. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated by their service, their lack of clear communication and price transparency. If they can treat a long-time patient like me like this, how will they treat you? My bi-annual clean & check up appointment with Dr Ishita was booked for 12th July 2025. Around May 2025 I called to enquire about a braces consultation with their orthodontist Dr Mohammad Fayeh on the same day as my appointment with Dr Ishita. I explicitly asked over the phone if there would be any fee, as I was already paying $259 for the clean & check up with Dr Ishita. I was told by the receptionist that there is no additional charge. As usual, I had a great experience with Dr Ishita. Afterwards, had my consult with Dr Mohammad. It was very brief—less than 10 minutes—where Dr Mohammad advised x-rays were needed to assess my suitability of braces. He said there is not much he can do at this point as he needs the x-rays. All he did was put on a pair of gloves, assessed my bite and took photos on a PHONE!? This was the extent of the consultation and he even said to me that he is “sorry he couldn’t help more”. He provided an x-ray referral AFTER my appointment, advising after my x-rays were done I need to book another appointment so that he further discuss treatment. Why was this not prepared earlier? X-ray referrals are commonly emailed beforehand and this easily could’ve been avoided if the practice had given this information PRIOR to my consultation. Why is it expected for me to pay for 2 consults when 1 consult could’ve been enough?? After my appointments, I pay the $259 clean & check up fee at reception. I’m then told that I need to pay Dr Mohammad’s consultation fee (a fee originally $180 which Dr Mohammad “kindly” discounted to $90). Upon hearing that I was charged $90 for the consultation (when I was previously advised would be free) I tell the receptionist that when I last called the practice they CONFIRMED no additional fee. Both the receptionist and Dr Mohammad said there was a “misunderstanding”. This is not a misunderstanding, but instead miscommunication and lack of price transparency!! When I spoke with Brite Dental in May 2025, they CONFIRMED I would not have to pay any additional cost for the orthodontist consultation. As a non-confrontational person, I pay the $90 and leave, despite feeling upset by the poor service. I tell my partner about my terrible experience with Dr Mohammad and the staff. My partner spoke with management on Monday. They said it was a “misunderstanding” and blamed it on a “junior receptionist” for not telling us the correct pricing. It truly says a lot about a business when they blame their junior employees for mistakes, when the true blame goes to management for not training their staff to be accurate and transparent about pricing. Dental care is NOT cheap, especially in a cost of living crisis - when you pay for a service, you would expect the service to be worth your hard earned money. Management only wanted to offer store credit, which could ONLY be applied if I went forward with a 2nd consultation with Dr Muhammad after x-rays were done!? We refused this offer. After going back & forth about how this was unfair, management finally agreed to offer a full refund. Due to their lack of price transparency and miscommunication, I have an extremely negative view of this practice and how they operate as a business. And Dr Mohammad, in my opinion, comes across as a dentist who is unprepared and worst of all: greedy. Edit:

We'd like to clarify a few key details regarding your recent visit. You were seen by two separate practitioners—Dr Ishita for your check-up and clean, and Dr Mohammad for the orthodontic consultation, which you specifically requested and booked.
At the time of booking, our team noted you held valid private health insurance. In such cases, it is standard to offer GAP-free consultations—meaning no out-of-pocket cost, as we claim directly from your insurer. However, you chose not to proceed with claiming for personal reasons.
As with all healthcare providers, professional expertise and time carry a cost. Nonetheless, Dr Mohammad extended a 50% courtesy discount, and we later issued a full refund of the $90 you paid.
Orthodontic assessments require diagnostic records such as X-rays and cephalometric scans to develop an accurate treatment plan. It is standard clinical protocol to schedule a follow-up appointment once those records are available.
While we respect your right to share feedback, it is unfortunate to receive a one-star review after the matter was resolved and the full refund issued. What stands out in this case is our effort to listen, clarify, and address your concerns professionally.

Fantastic experience: Was so relieved to have Been cared for by Dr fayeh. I have a lot of issues when I have treatments, and he is very patient and gentle. Fantastic experience: Have been going here for just over 6 months now. Started as an emergency appointment to fix a tooth that broke in half to now having routine appointments to be able to better my dental health. If there was anything I felt worried about they always get me in and make sure to address any issues. Dr Ishita is very caring and careful when doing her work and I've been happy with everything so far. The dental asisstants they have in the appointments are also very polite and attentative! Fantastic experience: Over the public holidays, I had an abscess, Brite dental was the earliest one I could book into. I met Dr Ishita; she was proactive with the recommended treatment, which helped with the infection. She took care in explaining the procedure. I had a root canal done; it was not painful, and I knew what was happening with the subsequent treatments and was in good hands, even when there was a power outage due to the bad weather. Brite Dental has also been flexible with the appointments. I am glad I found a local dentist and Dr Ishita who cares for her patients.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this dentist. They couldn't tell my tooth had a crown on it so they numbed my mouth and realised at the last minute. Then they sent me to a specialist because they said they couldn't do the crown. Then they turned around and said another dentist there could do the crown. Then they turned around again and said they couldn't. Huge waste of time and run around. Very annoying.

We don’t want to discuss your case here as it is not the right place. Still, we would like to stress that your dentist referred you to a specialist on the basis of what is appropriate and best for you.
A General dentists can perform most dental procedures but sometimes a more challenging procedures need specialist care. Dental specialists are, by their nature, specialised in a particular area of dentistry. This means they’ve undergone extra training—that takes at least three years—in their area of expertise and they have extensive knowhow in that area (that’s why they are expensive) in addition, they have specialised tools and equipment that is not available to a general dentist.
Rest assured that we always have your best interest in mind and strive to provide the best oral health care to all our patients.
Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Andrew for several years now and would rate him at the best dentist I have ever been a patient of. He has a calming demeanour, clear communication, and attention to detail in his care. He's also great with my two young boys who are new to dentist visits. His reception staff are equally as top-notch.

Fantastic experience: We've recently started going to Brite Dental and our experiences have been great. We've seen both Dr Kader and Dr Wong. Both are great dentists. Dr Kader was excellent with my 3yo who is a really sensitive kid when it comes to unfamiliar environments. She made his first dental visit a pleasant one, and I was amazed she got him to cooperate.

Fantastic experience: All the reviews on here really lived up to themselves. I had a full clean and check up today and I was so nervous. I have major dental anxiety but Dr Ishita and her dental assistant Renell took such good care of me, I felt very comfortable with the excellent communication between us all. Fantastic experience: On my wife's recommendation I decided to get a consultation done. It had been many years since my last Dentist visit. I dropped in and they found an appointment for me that day, extending it to do a good check up and clean. My Dentist, Tara I found very good. She explained everything she was doing and the plans I could take to resolve issues that were found. The use of photos as well the X-rays to show me what was found made the decision process easier. I will be going back to have the issues found resolved.

I am the most nervous when visiting dentists but I was instantly put at ease from the moment I stepped into the reception area to meeting Dr. Geetika. Fantastic experience: First time I come across to enjoy “patient comes” first to anything else. Due to an emergency, I had quick attention by Tara. As a diabetic I’m reluctant to procedures that will cause long bleeding periods, this problem only lasted about 1-2hours, I’m happy the centre is up today with modern procedures to make me more relaxed and happy. She explained everything thoroughly and dental nurse Fengyi thank you for your excellent DA work today I was impressed with your efficiency and quick response it made me feel very comfortable and relaxing the entire time. Jacqueline the reception girl was also wonderful! She was very helpful in explaining the billing and insurance process, and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and Brite Dental was able to squeeze me in on the same day. The first thing I noticed was how clean the surgery was. Dr Ishita was my dentist.
