Fantastic experience: shorturl.at/jnCT3 Had a same day crown procedure 22/06/2025 - my first visit to this dental practice. , Dr Michael Chan was excellent, he has a gentle manner and navigated the whole event without any fuss, even stopped to give me a breather several times through the long preparation for the crown, 1.5 hours later fitted the crown, the new tooth is perfectly matched to my bite and feels better than new. I have found my new go to dentist.

Dr Julie in particular has been very kind to me through my anxiety and very active gag reflex. Always discuss costs upfront before performing any services and have always enquired about any specific issues even if I'm just in for a check up/clean. Very happy with the service here.

Negative experience: Booked in to get zoom in chair whitening for their offer of $399. They contacted me 3 times to change my appointment saying that the dentist was on leave. I’ve done zoom in chair whitening before elsewhere and it gives average results of 6-12 shades lighter. I also did my research and every dental website offering zoom in chair whitening guarantees you this. I looked at over 30 websites. I took the offer here because it was about $300 off the full price. I really regret that now. They only managed to get me only 3 shades lighter, I don’t think she knew what she was doing and when I look in the mirror I can’t even notice the difference. The staff are polite and nice but this deal for $399 for zoom in chair whitening is a complete SCAM! Please save your money and go somewhere more reputable and with some kind of guarantee. I wish I had. I feel like I threw $399 in the bin. I don’t even know if the person who did the whitening for me was a registered dentist as they rescheduled my appointment 3 times saying that the dentist was on leave. I should have checked all this before I had it done but I was too excited about having my teeth whitened again.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ken is THE.ONE. Truly exceptional Don't love the dentist, but not strongly adverse either. However, I do struggle with dentist-anxiety, and Dr. Ken's kind and patient approach immediately put me at ease. His clear, well-informed communication throughout my entire treatment plan was invaluable. I initially came in for multiple fillings, a crown, and a possible orthodontic evaluation. Over the course of three affordable appointments, Dr. Ken was consistently gentle, attentive, and incredibly open in providing his professional advice. During my third appointment, instead of continuing with the planned treatment, he recommended that we prioritise orthodontic work first. This meant he chose to forgo the scheduled procedure, demonstrating his commitment to my well-being and displayed so much honesty and integrity. I am just so grateful for the care and consideration Dr. Ken has shown me, thank you so much, Dr. Ken—looking forward to seeing you again soon to complete my treatment plan with you.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended an appointment at the clinic after not visiting the dentist in a while. I was nervous about how the appointment would go but I had nothing to worry about. The receptionists but me at ease straight away, just as much as the Dr and they were both very welcoming and friendly. The dentist was fantastic. She went above and beyond, resulting in me not having to ask any additional questions other than ‘how soon can I book in for the work?’ Overall I would highly recommend this practice. Not only are the staff friendly, knowledgable and professional but the space is clean, calming and easy to get to. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price. More than 50% lower than what other places have quoted me and I’d visited a handful of places prior to my appointment just to get quotes and different treatment plans.

Fantastic experience: I had four wisdom teeth extracted today. Due to the types of procedures I had, I required two different dentists. They - and their respective assistants - were extremely efficient, kind, gentle and patient with me expressing feelings of nervousness. They talked me through everything before proceeding, and calmed me with words as well as light taps on the shoulder (which I’m sure doubled as a slight distraction). The procedure was done so quickly and with as little physical trauma as possible. The overall experience was much less scary than I expected and I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: This place is prob one of the best dental clinic I have ever been to. The service is on another level, I booked at 11pm and got a reply back at 11:05pm. Not a bot. Dentist is awesome, doesn't force you, let you decide what you want. Fully recommend this place.

Negative experience: They never informed me that if my treatment could not be done I would have to pay for my visit. I lost time and money because I was never notified the possibility the retainers could not be holder over the phone, I would have decided not to go if I knew that I had to pay the same for the visit even if nothing was done to me. I think you should be more transparent on the phone and notify the client of these things. And to clarify, the first thing the dentist suggested to me was to go to another dentist who was dedicated to do specific that. That was her first response from her. I went to another dentist again yesterday and they were able to put retainers on me. If you do not have qualified dentist to provide all the services, do not try to sell extra things to justify that you have not lost.

Fantastic experience: This is absolutely the best dental clinic I have been to. Not only in Melbourne but around the world. After having a bad experience with another dentist in Melbourne I have been very reluctant to go back to the dentist. However, after my visit with Michelle I am extremely happy with the level of care she provided. She took the time to ensure I was ok throughout the procedure and explained everything in detail at the end of each visit, including the next steps. Being the director of an Optometry practice, I am extremely aware of clinical best-practice and the level of care and attention I received from Michelle is second to none. Michelle is a credit to this clinic and I will continue to see her for all my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I haven't used their services in a few years and was pleasantly surprised with the service and the new dental location. They are still trading as City Dental Care which used to be in Spencer St. I've notice they have changed names but not sure why they changed the trading name. I usually don't leave reviews but had a good experience so far with the dental clinic and I thought I share this to the general public. Keep up the good work and servicing your patients!

Negative experience: 在Google map 上面搜索到这家还不错，刚好今天休假，想和男朋友一起去洗牙和种牙。打了电话去咨询，问前台是否可以预约，是否可以说中文，前台小姐姐的确可以，第一通电话接起来，并没有多大毛病，但是说今天没有位置了。当我打第二通电话给另外诊所，不知道是拨错电话还是同一家诊所有不同电话，前台说中文的小姐姐接起电话起来 直接用很不好的语气态度说，我刚刚都跟你说了没有位置了，没有位置了。回答的问题并没有毛病，但是这个service和态度还有语气真的让人一言难尽。原本计划去这里种牙和洗牙，直接不想去了。

Negative experience: Went for a dental filling, the staff are all polite and friendly but the dentist checked my teeth asked when did I get my scaling done: I answered it was within 12months, she didn't ask if I wish to get it done at their clinic/or today/or inform the cost of the service before prying my mouth open for local anaesthesia. I don't know if its common to make the patient lay down flat (It is usually in a slanted angle when I get my filling done at DentalOne) the entire time they scaled and filled me was a torture and the dentist kept saying it was because my jaw was stiff but I couldn't tell her my neck is the one which is hurting. Overall it was a disastrous experience and a lesson not book an appointment in haste just because it is available immediately.

Trying to overcharge, when i asked for the explanation she was like overreacting and didn’t even apologize for her behavior… highly recommend not to go there if you’re not Chinese.

Negative experience: Very bad experience! First, pictures are not real environment of this dental. Second, a dentist called Tracy H.Li, she is unprofessional and rude. 10 minutes consultation without any advice and treatment. I said had a toothache, but she said she can’t find it, should be pay more money for x-ray…. Then, she told me it not that tooth I’m painful, I feel wrong….Totally cost 110 dollars, no any help.
