Fantastic experience: Doctor Anu was amazing She talked me through all possible issues that could arise from my tooth extraction. Throughout the procedure she reassured me, checked regularly to see if I was fine and her lovely assistant held my head in place securely but still gently. I followed all Doctor Anu’s aftercare advice and had no pain, swelling or excessive bleeding. Fantastic experience: So I’m an independent 16 yr old who is paying for school fees, rent and everything, and I don’t have private health. I went to my first consultation appointment this morning, I didn’t realise that it would cost anything because of the “consultation” word- my bad. And the counter ladies - Michelle and Patty were beyond so lovely. They both went out of their way to help me out, which they did not have to do. Michelle helped discount the upfront expenses for me- with respect to normal fees, and Patty even paid for my upfront expenses (i Will pay her back ofcourse). I can not explain how much gratitude I have right now, they have revived my faith in humanity. Beyond blessed by them today, they deserve a raise. Not only that, the doctor was professional, efficient and easy going to talk to. Beyond blessed by this place. Highly recommend if you value both professionalism and being treated with respect, kindness and care. Thank Patty and Michelle ❤️

Fantastic experience: My recent dental check-up with Dr. Sagar Bhattarai at 1300 Smiles in Rockhampton was fantastic. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. He took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently answered any questions I had. Dr. Bhattarai's professionalism and approachability stood out, and I highly recommend him for dental care.

Fantastic experience: They were able to invent an appointment time for me literally for the next day, which, due to a bad toothache I really appreciated, especially since the dentist I rang just prior said the earliest they could fit me in was 6 weeks. In contrast, within 12 hours, I not only got an initial consult but also had a complete tooth extraction done. A very competent and experienced dentist and friendly staff too. Awesome choice! !

Negative experience: What a easy scam said they couldn't do anything to help me I was their just on 5 minutes and was charged$ 80 on thé spot not very impressed

Fantastic experience: 1300 smiles is a very family friendly dentist my kids are finally never scared to go get a check up They are even accommodating to one of my daughters sensory hurdles.

Fantastic experience: Kind and friendly dentist and assistant. They put me at ease, went over my dental care plan in detail, where not put off by all my questions and from what I could tell were no more or less expensive than other dentists. My advice is book early! There is a reason that they are busy :)

Fantastic experience: Paul Slater is absolutely fantastic with children! Just had him do a check up and clean with my 2 year old and I couldn't recommend him any higher! Absolutely amazing! Showed her everything before hand so she was comfortable and was so patient with her! Thank you so much Paul!

Negative experience: They were polite in telling me that they did not care about my QR code scan in. They did not care that the seating was not 1.5m apart in the waiting room, and they did not care that I sat in the waiting room without a mask. But they did care that my masks exemption was private and that I said I didn’t need to show it under section 94H of the privacy act, and they said I needed to wear one while I walked from the waiting room to the consultation room. Then I would take it off for obvious reasons. Very hard to check someone’s teeth when the customer is masked up!! The hypocracy is astounding. A big negative from me.

Fantastic experience: I have just had the most pleasant experience at Rockhampton 1300SMILES this afternoon where the dentist was patient and gentle with my son who doesn't do well at dental visits. He showed my son how to clean his teeth properly and explained why and what he was doing. When the rest of us have required dental work, we also have received great care. Reception staff more than willing to answer questions and take the time to help. I would definitely recommend 1300SMILES to anyone looking for a great family dental service.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly service. Reassured my anxious 15yr who said it was very good and she would go back there, so that says alot.

Fantastic experience: I had previously had my teeth whitened in a salon, whilst it did lift a small amount of decades of drinking coffee, it was not a great deal. I began the search for an 'in chair whitening', that would not cost an arm and a leg! I had been quoted close $1000. for 'in chair whitening' and from $500 - $600 for a take home DIY kit. That would have been fine, but a lengthy process. From the initial phone call to the whitening process, I was impressed. Paul (the technician), talked me through the process and what to expect during and after. I walked out with teeth that were looking and feeling great, better than I expected. My teeth did not look unnaturally white (thank God), but extremely white and clean. The entire team at 1300smiles were professional and welcoming, the premises look neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend the Rockhampton practice.

Negative experience: Went in with significant jaw pain and what I thought to be my wisdom teeth. Dentist concluded I didn’t have any wisdom teeth and charged me a significant amount of money for no answer as to what was causing my pain. I recently went to a different dentist to find that I did in fact have wisdom teeth. Very disappointing to see a practice take someone’s money and provide no answers and lie about their situation.

Positive experience: It is hard to recommend a dentist as obviously, there is pain and discomfort involved. Despite that my experience was that I was so relaxed during part of the root canal treatment, that I dozed off. I need to complete the root canal treatment, so will keep coming for that, but I think I will use this practice as my ongoing dentist as I feel that they care that I am not in pain as they treat me.

Negative experience: Was quoted 3 fillings and was given 6. Wasn’t what I wanted to pay. Especially at Christmas time. Paying double was definitely unexpected.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a massive fan of going to the dentist, but .. These guys were great. I needed a filling and I can safely say, it didn't hurt at all, not even the numbing needle.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this dentist to anyone, the only positive aspect of my experience was the reception lady. I was lead to an open bay out the back where I had people walking back and forth and entering the bay going through cupboards/draws etc during my check/clean. I had booked in for a check up and a clean, from being called through to then paying at the reception was 20 minutes if that, I have never experienced such a quick dentist visit in my life. The check up consisted of the doctor looking around my mouth with a mirror and then proceeded with the clean. I was then told to spit and rinse in the communal sink (shared with the bay beside mine) which is located in the walkway where people are walking past. I was a new patient to this clinic, they knew no history of my teeth/gum health, no questions were asked before starting and I was not made to feel comfortable. During my visit I was made to feel like I was a nobody, who didn’t matter, there were lots of discussions between staff on what services they will do for me such as xrays and fluoride treatments as I had booked in when they were having a deal. Obviously staff had no idea about the deal and were wondering if they provide usual services or give me a half done job. I will not be going back, very unhappy with the service provided. Easy money made for those 20 minutes of fluff.

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend these people to anyone. Recently started a dental plan for extraction of my teeth and to have dentures made and was given a quote only to be told when it came time to have the dentures made that , the dentist , Dr anu , had not even read the quote given to me and the resulting cost was going to be roughly 1000 dollars more than I was originally told . They wouldn't honour the quote and came up with bs excuses . Only put 1 star because I had to . Be wary of any costing they give you as it obviously doesn't mean they'll stick to it
