Fantastic experience: If I could give a 10/5, I would. Rob and the team at Bald Hills Dental are honestly the best. After being with the same dentist for 8+ years, I made the move and I’m so glad I did. Rob identified crowding and jaw issues I didn’t even realise I had — and in the process, helped fix not just my teeth, but my breathing and jaw function too. My health has noticeably improved, and my teeth? PHENOMENAL. They genuinely under-promised and over-delivered. If you value your health, want to learn and be educated and empowered about your treatment, and also care about aesthetics - this is the place. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: I moved to a new suburb and was very thankful to find Bald Hills Dental. The team here are all super friendly, and provide a welcoming experience. I booked to get a wisdom tooth taken out with Dr. Khan and didnt have to wait long at all for my procedure. It was a painless extraction and I was regularly checked up on during the procedure which was comforting! My appointment duration time which included happy gas, two wisdom teeth extractions, and Dr Emad and his staff checking on me before I departed was less than 25 mins. After a truly awful experience having two wisdom teeth extracted 20 years ago, I have avoided repeating wisdom teeth extractions ever since, going into the appointment I was extremely nervous. Fantastic experience: Having a fear of dentists all my life , and having chronic back pain, I was very apprehensive about going to the dentist. When I first walked in I was put me at ease the young lady at the desk Angie was lovely ,the Dental nurse and the Dentist were excellent and caring. She was incredibly caring, taking the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The results were excellent — she did a wonderful job! I had one pulled 7 years ago by another dentist at a different practice, which was not a great experience. But "The Wisdom Wizard" really lives up to his name. Less than 24hrs later, and the pain is very minimal. Highly recommend and I will definitely be continuing any dental work with Bald Hills Dental in the future! They offer payment plans as well, and even give you a call the next day to see how you are going. Fantastic staff as well that make you feel comfortable and looked after! I am still in shock with the incredible experience today having the rest of my wisdom tooth removed that was given up on 10 years ago after being butchered for 2 hours by a previous dentistry. The wisdom wizard has me walking on cloud 9 (no I didn't have happy gas haha). I bought a scratchie because I am so grateful for the painless and insanely quick job he did today. Less than 2 minutes (yes, no joke) and he had the rest of the wisdom tooth out, and the infection that came with it. Fantastic dentist practice, from the lovely staff and very helpful reception that went above and beyond for me after a terrible experience with a previous dentist I saw last week, that refused to release my records to me and bald hills dental. I had seen them last Thursday, and they expected me to go through a specialist, costing me a lot of money, time, and frustration. Not the wisdom wizard and his beautiful staff!! I cannot thank them all enough. Nearly an hour later and I still can't feel pain. No fear this time because I had full faith the wisdom wizard would be able to do it, just how quick is still shocking me! Thank you bald hills dental. Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday due to severe pain I’d been experiencing for a week, and I can't recommend Dr Hanna enough. The procedure was surprisingly comfortable, and the team checked on me frequently throughout the operation, which really helped ease my nerves. The receptionist, Angie, was also fantastic—she made me feel welcome and assured me that I was in expert hands. Additionally, I checked with several clinics in the area, and they offered the most affordable rate for the procedure! Post op experience was superb, too. After the operation, Dr Hanna gave me clear instructions on what to do. The detailed post op care instructions they handed me came handy as well. Just now, Angie called me to ask how I am - really show that they care about their patients. Overall, a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Great regular dental care. Competitively priced. Really make you feel they hold patient care above commerce. As long term patients, they have been able to squeeze my partner in for urgent appointments surrounding infection. Dr Robert Lin has also been instrumental in helping with more complex issues, including a Dental Splint and assistance and advice on issues including TMD/TMJ pain, Bruxism and jaw issues exacerbating a small airway.

Fantastic experience: After now 10 months of work, I had my first bit of normality today with a usual checkup and I can finally say i couldn’t be happier. High praise from my gp sent me to bald hills dental after I ended up in a bike vs car accident resulting in several injuries including the loss of some of my teeth. Dr Emad Hanna worked through receiving implants with me extensively. I always had the appropriate information and he had always talked me through everything. Calmed the whole experience to a spot which I wasn’t nervous. The small team here are always cheerful and here’s a big shoutout to (and I hope I don’t miss anyone), Angie, Amelia, Charlie and Ebony for your work. After seeing Dr. Emad Hanna today and how he took care of me, it felt like this was my first ever proper dentist visit and I usually visit my old dentist every 6 months!! Price was amazing and super reasonable, I thought I was going to be charged way more for what I got today but I was shocked to see it was lower than I thought!!! Negative experience: Was told by Dr Hanna that one of my tooth needs extraction due to slight pain I felt in it. As I took the advice from a PROFESSIONAL doctor serious, I booked an appointment to extract my tooth in a few weeks time. They charged me $250 as upfront payment for booking the appointment. Waited 3 weeks without feeling any sort of pain in my tooth. So I decided to postpone the appointment to see if the pain comes back and the advice given by the PROFESSIONAL doctor is correct. Waited another 4 weeks but my tooth was not in pain at all. So common sense, there is no point to extract my tooth THAT DOES NOT ACHE!!!!. So called them asking for refunding my $250 just to know that my $250 is not refundable as I cancelled it without 24 hours notice which was not true as I cancelled the appointment the day before. Seems like they want to charge you for whatever reason. Either by giving incorrect advice to extract your tooth and call it an urgent task to be done (which turned out to be totally wrong) or by stealing your upfront payment. Totally unprofessional and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them AT ALL!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was looking to change my dentist for a very long time and have chosen to try this dental clinic and only wish I found them sooner. I cannot speak highly enough of their service! Dr Emad is an absolute star! I chipped my tooth and got it temporarily fixed while he explained and offered options ( with photos of the actual damage) , no pressure just honest options. I opted for the crown and was scheduled relatively quick for a fitting. I couldn't be happier with the results! I don't have private insurance and believe that their prices for the service provided is quite reasonable, reception staff are very friendly and efficient as well. So if you are looking for a dentist this clinic is the one you need!

Fantastic experience: Emad has just completed my third implant, and as usual has done a perfect job. My first two implants (and a bridge) were done by Emad nearly 10 years ago and are still perfect. I can't recommend Emad enough as a brilliant dentist. He is very gentle, and considerate, always discusses with you your options and performs his work to perfection. Negative experience: I have debated whether to post this review, but as someone who makes decisions based on google reviews, I thought it was important to share my experience. My initial experience with Dr Robert Lin and Bald Hills Dental was very positive, I actually posted a 5 star review in the early stages of my treatment. I came across the clinic during a google search when trying to seek treatment for temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). I was truly desperate after months of pain and going from specialist to specialist with no real progress or relief. Rob was clearly very knowledgeable about TMJD as well as sleep disordered breathing and how the two go hand in hand. I commenced orthodontic treatment with Dr Lin in August 2022, first via orthopaedic expansion through a removal appliance and would then proceed to braces to address dental crowding and bite issues, amongst other things. I did have concerns about being treated by a dentist, not an orthodontist and actually expressed these concerns to the practice manager, Venetta, however was reassured that Rob was very experienced and sees hundreds of orthodontic patients a year. I noticed relief from symptoms pretty quickly after I started wearing the expansion plate, however my experience changed dramatically once the braces were fitted in February. In addition to the brackets and arch wire, Rob also applied a range of additional hardware in order to support my jaw, including a sharp, jagged, wired expander, attached horizontally to my top molars. This left me unable to speak, eat or even swallow, due to the very limited and uncomfortable space for my tongue. I was in constant pain and struggled to carry out basic tasks like looking after my children. As someone who talks for a living, I had to immediately seek cover for my upcoming work shifts (and lost income as a result). Not being able to chew meant my digestive system was not able to function effectively, anything I ate (which was either soup or smoothies) went straight through me. This left me feeling depleted, hungry and miserable. I spoke to Rob a couple of days into treatment and was quite shocked at the lack of empathy as well as some of the inappropriate comments made, including that he has previously treated Corporate Executives who run board meetings with the same treatment who are fine. The worst part of it all, was that it was not adequately communicated to me, Rob severely downplayed the impact and did not adequately prepare me for what was to come prior to the braces and other hardware going on. An option for a less invasive treatment (whilst which may not have been as effective, but would have allowed me to maintain my quality of life) should have been presented. In addition, he also did not thread archwire through one of my bottom incisors, commenting that my bottom teeth are “all over the place”. This left a line in my gums that is still there. I returned to Bald Hills Dental a week later so Rob could remove the additional hardware and afterwards I sought review from two separate orthodontists, one of whom questioned the effectiveness of the expander for someone my age (35) as well as the use of it at all due to its harsh side effects. A decision was made to remove the braces and start fresh with the new orthodontist, who was able to thread the archwire through all brackets seamlessly and applied ceramic braces, not metal braces (at my request); something Dr Lin did not entertain. In comparison, it has been a much more consultative and smoother process and I now understand why an orthodontist needs to complete an additional three years of study.

Negative experience: I should have left this comment here a few years ago but i want to see how my Implants job would progress. Well i had quite a bit of problem with my implants and need it repairs and adjustment spending more money. I try to avoid them because i notice they were getting quite expensive specially with me, don't know why. My last visit i got charged $300 for a 10 minutes job. Finally i found now another place which they really take care of me and fees are very moderate and also have been told that the original Implants should have been made better. Too tech for me to explain. Sorry you have lost my trust.

After years of being anxious about dentist visits at other practices, the use of a bite block and numbing gel have been game changers for me and have honestly made trips to the dentist a breeze! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Bald Hills Dental. Recently while eating ice cream my tooth cracked and broke away. Dr Emad was able to do a temporary repair the next day, which was later replaced with a crown. What I really appreciated about Dr Emad was every few minutes during the procedure he would stop and check that I was comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to answer your questions.

Fantastic experience: I have been afraid of going back to a dentist since I had a bad experience at Redcliffe but I found Bald Hills dentist when I moved here and I will never ever go to another dentist again. Dr Emad Hanna is amazing dentist I never felt scared or anxious while I was there , they were just so accommodating and so empathetic and caring to all my needs. I would highly highly recommend Bald Hills dentist to anybody. After having teeth removed I am now looking forward to having implants done at Bald Hills dental. Fantastic experience: Emad and his team at Bald Hills provide exceptional dental care. Emad is gentle and very thorough, he’s the only dentist I trust with my teeth. I have a huge phobia and suffer with very sensitive teeth. Hehas helped me over come my fears over the years visiting him. I’ve had several procedures at this practise, fillings, 4 wisdom teeth extracted and routine cleans. They have also assisted in my orthodontics and made replacement retainers for me. Thanks guys.!

Fantastic experience: Dr Emad Hanna took my 16 year old sons wisdom teeth out today and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in the receptionist was lovely, she chatted to my son about his favourite thing, basketball. The procedure went very well. Dr Hanna was very caring and professional. He calmed my son's nerves and gave him time to ask any questions. Can highly recommend Bald Hills Dental. It's our new family dentist.

Fantastic experience: After having wisdom teeth pain on and off for years and visiting a few different Dental Practices, I’m so glad I found Bald Hills Dental. My overall experience was amazing and I couldn’t fault these guys. Service, communication and pricing is 10/10. I didn’t expect to heal so quickly after my wisdom teeth removal as I’d heard some horror stories about going “in the chair” but I couldn’t recommend Dr Marni, Venetta and the team enough. Fantastic experience: First time I have been to the dentist in almost 10 years. I wasn’t judged at all by my teeth or the length of time between my last visit to a dentist. The dentist I saw was very polite and could have a joke and the receptionist was really lovely too. Already booked in for my next appointment. P.S This dentist didn’t try and charge me an arm and leg first time she actually saved my tooth for the time being and warned us of future costs.
