Fantastic experience: My Mother who is turning 93 recently had to see Dr Anna at Mermaid Smiles. Dr Anna was so gentle, kind and thorough and helped so much offering her breaks when needed. We highly recommend Mermaid Smiles and their wonderful team of dentists, assistants and receptionists.

Fantastic experience: After heaps of research for my wisdom tooth surgery, Mermaid Smiles was the one I ended up going with because they had the highest reviews and offered happy gas and trust me they did not disappoint. I had a consult with Dr Georgia Charleson about my wisdom tooth removal as well as some masseter Botox for my teeth grinding and she was so thorough with her explanations and made me feel so at ease. The day of my wisdom tooth removal and I was definitely anxious but Dr Georgia reassured me and was very attentive to my concerns. I honestly didn’t realise it had happened and I was only in the chair for less than 30mins. She was extremely professional during the procedure and made sure to do regular check ins with me to make sure nothing hurt. I cannot recommend Mermaid Smiles and Dr Georgia enough and I will continue to get my dental work with them :)

Fantastic experience: Georgia did a bunch of fillings and a wisdom tooth extraction in 1 sitting. She was outstanding and I diddnt feel stressed, no pain, and my bite is perfect after the 4 fillings. I was just chilling watching some netflix and enjoying what should have been a nightmare. I can officially recommend mermaid smiles as the place where mouths are made happy.

Fantastic experience: This place is so fantastic: I have neglected my dental care my entire adult life and at 27 it's caught up to me. I came in for what I thought was a filling, and it ended up being a root canal AND some. It was worst case scenario for me and I instantly started getting panicked. But, Dr Grace reassured me, didn't judge at all and came up with a plan that made sense for me financially as someone without health insurance. Dr Grace, each one of the beautiful assistants I've met, Sally and the other women at the front desk who just happened to be there, have all been so welcoming and have enjoyed laughs with me at every stage of this journey. Dr Grace makes dentist appointments like a 0/10 scary experience and I feel like I'm in the best hands. Cannot recommend enough x

Fantastic experience: I was super anxious to have a filling. They gave me a stress ball and reminded me to take deep breaths. They checked in with me during the whole process to make sure I was okay. Made special adjustments to make it as comfortable as possible. Even gave me a lip balm at the end for my dry lips from having my mouth open! Very happy with my experience. Fantastic experience: I initially when there for the “sleep dentistry”. I had previous childhood trauma that was made worse by failed root canal and then subsequent removal of that tooth in a not so gentle manner. I then, ashamedly, didn’t o back to the dentist for 10 years. I was quoted for all my work to be done with sedation and was cost prohibitive so attempted to try with out. Dr Georgia was happy to pull the pin at anytime that I didn’t cope. She was very gentle and patient with me and took the necessary time and steps to reduce my significant anxiety and fear. We were unsuccessful the first time in removing my ginormous tooth and was agreeable for me to come back to attempt a second time. Once again she was patient and ensured that I had adequate anaesthesia before attempting the removal. I thought she was about to tell me that she was struggling to remove the tooth (as had happened multiple times in the past) and instead showed me the tooth clean out of my mouth. I have even rebooked to go back and get “non-urgent” work done (which I would have never done in the past). I still have the anxiety there but the prohibitive fear has gone. Thank you so much as I thought it would be something that I would have never gotten over

Fantastic experience: Dr Georgia did an amazing job addressing over a decade of dental care neglect for my husband! The transformation is something else - the before and after shots - you would never think it was the same mouth! Dr. Georgia Harrison was very caring and established a treatment plan to get my husbands mouth back in order which required many crowns, root canal and extractions, fillings etc etc - upper/lower on left and right. It was an almighty mission! She made the process easy and comfortable, he got to sit back and watch endless reruns of Seinfeld while Dr Georgia performed her pure magic! Husband is so relieved that it has all been fixed up, back to 6-monthly check ups forever now. The entire team at Mermaid Smiles are exceptional and the clinic facilities are incredible - these guys can do a crown in one day, all made on site - no waiting and multiple appointments necessary! Negative experience: I've been a regular at Mermaid Smiles, primarily under the exceptional care of Dr Anna Williams and Dr Grace Huang. My experiences with them had always been top-notch, setting a high standard for dental care. Unfortunately, Dr Williams recently took maternity leave, and the quality of service has taken a sharp nosedive since her departure. Attempting to book appointments for cosmetic procedures has turned into a recurring nightmare. On multiple occasions, I was assured by the staff that someone would return my call to schedule an appointment. These promises were never fulfilled, leaving me waiting by the phone in vain. Adding to the confusion, I received conflicting information about the availability of certain cosmetic services. One day they're offered, the next they're not - it's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. The most disheartening part of my recent experiences involves interactions with Sally, whose approach to customer service is shockingly dismissive. Her words still ring in my ears: "We remain committed to ensuring your continuity of care and are prepared to facilitate the transfer of your records to an alternative clinic." This isn't just poor service; it's a clear message that my business is no longer valued. Mermaid Smiles used to be a place where I felt cared for and appreciated. Now, it seems they're more interested in pushing patients out the door rather than addressing their needs. For a clinic that once prided itself on exceptional patient care, this is a dramatic and disappointing shift. If you're looking for consistent, reliable dental services, I suggest you look elsewhere.

In the past, I’ve had some not so nice or compassionate dentist’s which had made me fearful of going to the dentist, however Georgia from Mermaid Smiles makes the entire experience fear free. Fantastic experience: As a 34 yr old who cried the second I seen the dental chair from experiencing trauma dental experiences elsewhere, I hadn’t been to a dentist in 5years and unfortunately I’m paying the cost now. I was so embarrassed however Dr Louis and his assistant Delayne were absolutely amazing with my anxiety, I never felt judged which I what I’m used to. While having a root canal I got to watch friends on Tv, squeeze a stress ball while Delayne placed her hand on my shoulder for comfort. Fantastic experience: I have just completed my teeth journey with Dr Anna undertaking invisalign and vaneers on my top teeth. I was fairly nervous about undergoing this treatment and put this off for some time as dental work can make me nervous. She came home saying her experience was the least painful and all so gentle. Fantastic experience: The reviews are true! I came to the clinic on a third opinion that I decided to seek. My neighbour recommended the clinic and I oh course judged the clinic on the google reviews (as we all do). I felt reassured. I had two dentists before hand with two different outcomes with two different quotes. I just felt I needed a third opinion… And I am happy I did. I saw the lovely Dr Georgia Harrison. She was fabulous. No up sells, told me the truth, did not professionally judge or comment on my information I gave her on the two other dental quotes. Very very professional:) amazing. She got on with the job with a smile, spoke through the entire procedure and explained why she was doing that. I felt I was in safe hands and was not being over charged. I would highly recommend this gifted dentist. Dr Harrison went beyond with my teeth and I’ll be going back with my children :) as I know we are in safe capable gentle hands.

Fantastic experience: The team at Mermaid Smiles is the best! Over the last few years I've gone through the Invisalign and veneers process with Dr Anna and I couldn't be happier with the results. It was such a smooth process thanks to Anna's communication and she made me feel comfortable every step of the way! Alongside Anna, I visit Dr Georgia H for general dentistry upkeep who is also great at making sure my teeth are in the best condition. Plus, can't forget Sally at reception, who is always so friendly and happy to help with any questions, and the lovely dental assistants!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience here, I have a deep fear of dentists from when I was a teenager, so going to a dentist is usually anxiety filled and I sometimes have to be mildly sedated. Dr Georgia Harrison was so lovely and I was at ease the whole time. Possibly one of the best dentists I’ve been to. Tash in reception was also very welcoming and reassuring. If you are hesitant at seeing dentists like I usually am, don’t be, as now I won’t be so scared to go in for regular checkups

Fantastic experience: Big thanks for Mermaid smiles! Doctor Georgia was very professional and supportive. Explained everything easily about my situation. Root canal was done for me doctor and assistant was very gentle and helped me to deal with pain. I felt that they really care about my well being. After few days they got back to me to make sure if the pain past away. Reception girl was very genuine as well.

She really took her time, listened to my worries and went out of her way to make everything comfy for me. I felt really cared for. Fantastic experience: Anna and her team were amazing from the first phone call and stepping through the door to seeing the final results. Anna explained the process in detail and organised my partial dentures with Dentures at varsity who have been amazing. Fantastic experience: Mermaid Smile is amazing! Best practice in the GC - all female crew, state of the art facilities and care taken with explanations like I have never experienced before! Reception staff and assistants all so lovely and accomodating (and also amazing teeth!) will be bringing the whole family and recommending to all (even if they don’t ask!) ‘the Grace Private of the Dental World’ if I must say so myself!

Fantastic experience: I experienced the best customer service at Mermaid Smiles, from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and staff were very professional with friendly vibes. Dr Georgia Harrison was my dentist and the 1 hour and 40 minute drive one way, was absolutely worth it. She made me feel at ease and addressed my concerns, explaining why that was happening and what I had to do. If I went somewhere else they would’ve been so quick to charge me hundreds or thousands of dollars for a simple issue. Highly recommend this place, the ladies at Mermaid Smiles are so wonderful and genuine.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I can’t recommend Dr Anna and her team highly enough. Such a personal, yet totally professional, experience with awesome results. I had wanted to whiten and improve my smile for quite some time and eventually got around to it. I did my research and decided to take the ‘plunge’ with Dr Anna at Mermaid Smiles. Fantastic experience: Dr Harrison is wonderful! I hadn’t been to the dentist in many years and ended up needing two fillings and wisdom tooth removal. I had never had any dental work done previously beyond regular cleaning. Dr Harrison talked through every step clearly and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Top Service from Dr Georgia Charleston and staff. Thank you. I had put off a niggling problem for years and had been advised by the three previous dentists in my life-so-far to leave the offending tooth where it was. They had worried me about it all the more. I was apprehensive when Dr Georgia advised removal as soon as she saw it. She said that as I continued to age, it would become a bigger problem and I agreed with her. She was confident and professional throughout the procedure (4 weeks ago). It's healed cleanly - I am So Relieved.

Fantastic experience: I had a filling and crown prep and on the chair for nearly two hours. The time flew as I was given lots of rest breaks and watched three episodes of David Attenborough. The procedures went really well, Dr Georgia, the receptionists, and Dental nurse were all very friendly and helpful.
