Fantastic experience: I used to be absolutely petrified of going to the dentist! Ever since I was little, it’s been a huge source of anxiety for me. That all changed when I started seeing Dr Akash Roy last year. I honestly can’t believe how much my perspective (and anxiety) around dental visits has shifted since coming here. Dr Akash is one of the kindest, most reassuring professionals I’ve ever met. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel at ease. He always checks in during appointments to make sure you’re comfortable, and his friendly, calm manner makes such a difference. For someone who used to dread the dentist, I now walk in feeling relaxed and confident I’m in good hands. I’ve also recently started seeing Iman, the Oral Health Therapist, who is just as lovely. She’s so gentle and kind, and makes the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. The front desk team are also incredible! Always warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely to deal with. I can’t recommend Hills Family Dental enough. A fantastic team and a truly great practice.

Went through in detail my dental plan and staff at reception explain out of pocket costs for future treatments. Fantastic experience: As a very nervous patient I was put at ease as soon as I called and spoke to Flora. She was so friendly and really listened to my concerns before recommending Dr Yeshani who was the perfect fit for me. Dr Yeshani explained everything and checked in constantly. Fantastic experience: Excellent clinic with friendly front staff and experienced, kind dentists. I am ashamed to say, I hadn't been to the dentist in over a decade and only went in because of a toothache. The dentist didn't ever make me feel bad at all, but listened to my concerns, asked some questions, took X-rays and did a thorough check with clean, scale and polish. The visit was reasonably priced and I will certainly be returning to Hills for all my dental needs in future.

Fantastic experience: Really nice and welcoming dental surgery. I was new to the area so had a check up and clean. The dentist (Dr Pathirana) explaining everything beforehand and asking if there's any sensitive or points of concern. I normally have really sensitive teeth but this was so comfortable! They have hicaps too so I only had to pay a small gap payment of 40$.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency dental appointment just after arriving on holiday from the UK. Hills were able to give me an appointment within 24 hours, which was brilliant. Flora in reception was incredibly helpful when making the appointment and also when registering with the practice. Dr Suryawinata sorted out the issue - she fully explained the procedure in a very professional yet friendly manner. Fantastic experience: We have not lived in Kalamunda very long. I was having problems and pain with a tooth. I had not been to a dentist in Australia before, I had passed this practice several times, so decided to see if they could help. My first visit to this dental practice was amazing all the staff were so helpful and understanding and went out of their way to get me an appointment that day. I was in quite a lot of pain. The outcome was one of the dentists agreed to fit me in. It turned out that I had an abscess at the base of the tooth which had to be extracted. Fantastic experience: I recently got dental implants with Dr. Kavindu Caldera and I had absolutely nothing BUT brilliant, positive experience! Fantastic experience: Honestly, the dentist as an adult still seems scary until I heard the bubbly sounds of friendly and inviting of receptionists over the phone just to make an appointment. Then I go for said appointment and everyone is extremely kind, caring, funny, gentle, considerate, thoughtful and compassionate. After my prior trauma causing the need for an appointment, this brought me nothing but ease. Thank you so much for the openness about prices also, it’s always so helpful when it comes time to pay. Fantastic experience: So, after having a couple of traumatic experiences with dental specialists in the past, I ashamedly hadn’t been to even have a check-up in many years. Having put up with a toothache & sensitivity for months though, I picked up the phone & called Hills. They fit me in today - the day of my call - at, funnily enough, 2:30 (tooth hurty ) Anyway, to say I was anxious / scared would have been an understatement but, from the lady’s at the front desk to the amazing dentist (Dr Akash), I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Akash explained everything - before, during and after treatment. He was so thorough, so kind and so patient. I honestly can’t fault him & it’s safe to say that I am not afraid to return for a filling next week! ☺️ So, if you also have a fear of dentists, you are certainly not alone and I highly recommend you give Hills a call! The relief I felt after my treatment was so great, I just had to give Dr Akash a hug! I just wish I’d seen him sooner! Thank you SO much to the lovely front desk lady(s) and awesome Dr Akash. Fantastic experience: I am so grateful that dental practices like this exist!! The experience was exceptional from the moment I called to organise the amount, to walking in the door. The reception staff were brilliant my 7 year old daughter needed to have a chipped tooth repaired and was incredibly anxious. We saw Hosai Nazifa (oral therapist) by way of recommendation from the receptionist when I made the appointment and explained what had happened. I can’t express how thankful I am that my daughter’s experience was what it was. She walked her through everything. Each piece of equipment she was going to use, showing her how it worked and what it would feel like on her hand first. She had animal guessing games to play and pass time waiting for things to go numb and to distract her. She was patient when things became too much for my daughter and aided her in becoming calm and understanding what was happening. Never doing anything without checking with her first if she could. I have attempted to describe how wonderful this practice is. I am again, very appreciative for the care and consideration given to our time there today.
