Negative experience: A few weeks ago my partner rang me in the middle of the night in pain after kicking one of his front teeth in!! When I arrived at the clinic, my partner was not in the building so Dr. Dang hurried me outside barely letting me through the front door. I found my partner around the corner at a dimly lit ATM, post x-ray and general anaesthetic, getting out $1500 cash in the middle of the night. Dr.Dang was fear mongering telling my partner multiple times he’d be in “deep shit” if he did this again and told him he would end up spending thousands upon thousands in dental care moving forwards. As broke uni students, this was confronting to hear -Thank god it was lie. The language and demeanour of Dr.Dang was very aggressive with lots of swearing, agitated pacing, and finger pointing. Dr. Dang put a shotty splint across his two front teeth which was later tidied up by my partners usual dentist. My partners usual dentist told us they knew who he went to just from us telling them it was emergency dental. They proceeded to list other stories from clients who have come to them after receiving emergency dental from Dr.Dang which were far worse than ours but it’s not my place to share. Dr. Dang insisted my partner get dental insurance. We rang an insurance company the next day where we were told that dental insurance is a waste of money, and that a root canal would not in-fact cost $3000 dollars. I never write reviews, but our experience here was potentially the worse interaction I’ve had with a stranger in my life and I’d recommend anywhere else for emergency dental.

Negative experience: Knocked my teeth out of place and decided to visit at 445pm on a weekday and was charged $1900 to reset the 2 teeth and put glue over the top. I wasn't told the full price until the xray was done and the freezing had been put in. The dentist scared the daylights out of me telling me that I'll never eat an apple ever again, my teeth could die, if they become discoloured one day ill need a root canal and then I'll be paying for it and if anything was broken beneath the tooth then I'll be really screwed and will need thousands upon thousands of dental work. The work itself was okay for emergency dental, but I feel completely taken advantage of being charged $1900.

The surgery took only 30 minutes for bottom ones and I didn't feel any pain during the surgery! I feel better today and will keep following the give instruction till I fully recover. I really really appreciate his work and his professionalism.

Negative experience: my father has been sick with a periodontal abscess in his front teeth for over a week now. In a desperate time where his antibiotics weren’t working he booked an emergency appointment as he was scared and his pain was 10/10. He was charged $680 to make a cut to “drain” it which was not necessary and inappropriate to do as he still had a major infection and after seeing his usual dentist realised this man cut him for no reason and charged him for a procedure he couldn’t/wouldn’t do. This dentist took advantage of my father for money when he was vulnerable and sick and this has further added time in his recovery as all this dr should have done is give him stronger antibiotics. I would not recommend this surgery.

Fantastic experience: Rang up at about 4:30pm, got in at 4:50pm same day. Dr. Dang was very patient with me as I have dental anxiety. He gave me breaks and time to calm down when needed. In the end had an infected wisdom tooth pulled in very little time at all (it's currently 5:15pm so in total about 30 mins). Reasonably priced as well

Fantastic experience: I have to say I was impressed with the way the dentist treated me from an urgent appointment at around 7 pm to diagnosis, treatment options and management n willingness to offer post OP care during Christmas holidays. I hear about reviews on fees regarding call-out, consultation being exorbitant. I mean ..who does emergency care privately at one location unless it’s an Adelaide dental hospital where waiting is a nightmare in pain. These days everyone charges a gap but a wisdom tooth impacted or not, removal can be fraught with complications The job was done with intact roots after removal. Good work Dr!

Fantastic experience: My son managed to break his tooth on a Thursday night 7:30pm, after trying to work out if we needed an emergency dentist visit we decided to see what we could find. Rang Dr Dang and explained the situation, he told us he would see us in 30mins!!! My son has severe anxiety and is non verbal. Dr Dang was so patient with him explained every step. He ended up having 2 x-rays and the tooth having to be pulled which he did without a needle!!! Super impressed with the service and the patience from Dr Dang, to anyone that has a fear of a dentist or in an emergency I would highly recommend him!!!! and to top it off for what he did, when he did it the cost- which was explained before staring was more than reasonable for what was performed after hours.
