Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this practice. My family and I have seen multiple dentists and every experience is consistently good. I especially recommend Dr Jack and Dr Lachlan. When I was younger I had some very negative experiences at dentists and was hesitant as an adult to go until finding this place. They are all kind, gentle, understanding and very caring. The kids really enjoy going!

Fantastic experience: I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible support I've received from Gisborne Family Dental. Not only is the dental care fabulous, but the receptionist (Melissa) is consistently friendly, helpful, and goes above and beyond to assist. They truly bent over backwards to write supporting letters to help me apply for a special consideration for my two large university assignments that fell right when I had to have dental work completed. This level of empathy and dedication Dr Priscilla showed during a stressful period made me so grateful. Highly recommend them for their outstanding care and truly compassionate team!

I experienced a lot of anxiety regarding the dentist before being recommend to come here, however Dr. Jack is so thorough, gentle and informative, it always feels like I'm in good hands and now I don't experience that same anxiety before an appointment. Definitely the best dentist I've ever been to!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have recently moved to Australia from the UK, to join our son and daughter in law. We needed to register with a dentist. My son made an appointment for us at the Gisborne Family Dentist. Dr Bethany carried out our first check ups. She was very friendly and welcoming but also very thorough and explained the treatment she thought would be needed. She used the X ray images to explain her diagnosis and was very clear and thorough in her explanation. She also gave both of us an estimate of cost which we found very helpful . We have now returned for our necessary appointments and again were very comfortable with Dr Bethany's treatment. Everyone at the surgery is very friendly and helpful including the reception staff. We're so pleased to have found Dr Bethany and this practice.

Negative experience: Wasn't particularly happy with my experience so I sent feedback, Gisborne Family dental seem to have decided I wasn't worth a reply.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentists for a while and was quite nervous, but Dr Cheng was so kind I soon got over that. He talked me through everything step by step. I give him a high recommendation. He has done a great job on my teeth - can't stop looking at them in the mirror.

Fantastic experience: I have recently started going to Gisborne family dental. I have been looked after by Dr Bethany Goh about 6 times over the last few months and Dr Bethany Goh has made me feel very comfortable on every visit she explains in details what needs to be done and why we need to do it so she set out a plain how to save my teeth and also gave me a quote on the cost of each visit and what discount I will receive from my health insurance On my last visit I had a tooth removed that was already broken and not much tooth sticking out of my gum I didn't think it would come out but Dr Bethany Goh was so gentle and patiene that I was distracted what was on the TV in ceiling I didn't even realise she got the tooth out I had no pain during the extraction and a day after I don't have any pain I can't thank Dr Bethany Goh enough for what she has done for me she made me feel comfortable she has taught me how to look after me teeth ie floosing and brushing no other dentist has taken time to teach the correct way to look after my teeth once again I can't recommend Gisborne family dental and specially Dr Bethany Goh highly enough

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough about Gisborne Family Dental. Not only are All the dentists and staff very friendly, but the four dentists I have had appointments with so far make you feel totally at ease. The last two long appointments with Dr. Jack Cheng involved fillings and needles which were absolutely pain free ....I felt myself nearly wafting off to sleep. He succinctly explained the whole procedure and is an excellent gentle dentist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service! Lovely receptionists, amazing dentists and assistants. Dr Priscilla and Nurse Taylar saw my kids today and to say they were amazing is an understatement. My 5 year old was extremely nervous and they took such caution to make her feel comfortable and involved in the process. I fully expected to walk today with nothing being done, but they were so amazing that she even felt comfortable enough to get X-rays. I’m genuinely so appreciative of their care, patience and knowledge!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service, went in with a cracked tooth was able to get it extracted same day and was one of the least painful extractions I've ever had. Would highly recommend, doctor was very patient with my dislike of tooth removals

Such a relief and a massive change from kids hating the dentist! My husband and I also love going there Updating our review- kids still love coming and when we had a sport emergency with teeth they fit us in and took care of us!

Fantastic experience: Gisborne Family Dental is the first and only dental surgery I would recommend. I have been to a few. The quality of personal attention is A1 from reception through to the dental rooms. I am a highly anxious patient and always feel supported. When urgent, they do their very best to prioritise care. Special mention to Dr Nadin Barsom.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nadine is amazing. I have high dental anxiety and have not had a great history with dentists who from other clinics have not listened to my concerns and issues. Dr Nadine is kind and gentle and talks through my anxiety as well as what is taking place on the day. I can’t recommend her and the clinic highly enough.

I see Dr. Nadin, she has been very understanding and she has supported me on a long journey to reduce my anxiety. Now I feel safe and my anxiety has reduced significantly. She is the epitome of a health professional being compassionate, kind, caring empathic, thoughtful and considerate, whilst still being professional. The reception staff are also really great. Fantastic experience: I called at 8.30am hoping for an appointment as I’d shattered my filling the night prior. Booked in for 12pm and spent an hour with Jacob, first time at the clinic and now will be a regular. Fantastic experience: I have always been very nervous going to the dentist. I hadn’t been for quite awhile, i asked my partner Graham to come along with me. I heard good reports about Gisborne Family Dentist. When I walked into the room, there was smiles from the Dentist and the assistant, which relaxed me a little. The Dentist was very friendly, asked me how my day was, I really liked the Dentist, I thought she was very nice and friendly. All through the procedure the Dentist was asking me how I was, which I thought was nice. Down the track I had another appt there at Gisborne Family Dentist, I asked my partner Graham to come along again but I wasn’t as nervous as I was the first time. Again, the Dentist was very friendly and patient with me. Down the track further again, I had an appt for veneers, but this time I didn’t ask my partner Graham to come along. I felt good about going there by myself, I knew what to expect, nice friendly family dentists. I think I have overcome my fear of Dentists now by going to the Gisborne Family Dentist. If anybody ask me for a recommendation in Gisborne for a Dentist, I will definitely say Gisborne Family Dentist.
