Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a positive experience at Molonglo dental surgery. Dr Monica and her team are exceptional.. after a few bad experiences going to the dentist growing up I developed anxiety towards check ups and as such neglected my dental health for years. After an emergency visit to see Dr Monica, she immediately showed care, empathy and a high level of experience that my anxiety immediately receded. I had planned to have a damaged tooth extracted and would have been left with a smile I was self conscious of. We decided to save the tooth and have a root canal and crown installed. I could not be happier with the outcome and how professional Dr Monica and her team are. The surgery is very well organised, clean and professional. Highly recommend to anyone with similar anxiety and looking for a positive experience to get your dental health back on track!

Fantastic experience: Molongo Dental Clinic is amazing. The staff to the overall interior and aura of the place, just awesome. We saw Doctor Monica & Doctor Emily. Both were excellent and very helpful. They assisted and assured us with confidence. The children's dental room featured a boisterous friendly green dinosaur and a large statue, helping ease all fear in children. The common anxiety and coldness common in dental clinics were not here, and rest assured, we were in good hands.

She is also thorough, keeps track of ongoing potential issues, and lets you know if you are doing a good job caring for your teeth + gives tips and advice. The whole staff at Molonglo Dental are patient, they follow up and provide reminders of appointments, and make the whole process of having regular dental checks/care really easy and pain free.

Fantastic experience: After years of horrendous treatment at another surgery, I gave Molonglo Dental Surgery a try. I had an initial new patient consult with Dr Benjamin, who was clear with his communication. Treated me like an equal and gave me an absolute understanding about what was going on with my teeth. Later in the day, I had a 2nd consult with Dr Monica, and we discussed options in removing my wisdom teeth or the teeth that had been left to decay by my previous dentist. After coming up with a plan, the team was able to do the extraction the following day. A pain-free, quick, easy experience. In less than an hour, we managed to remove 4 teeth. After years of issues, I wish I had found this surgery sooner. Clear difference in skill level and experience from this surgery to others. The entire team works great together to ensure patient well-being at an honest price. There is a reason for this surgery having such good google reviews, and that is down to its team members and flawless service. Fantastic experience: The whole team at Molonglo are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! My young children love coming here. From the kids area in the reception to the Dino room, it makes them feel comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely recommend for families introducing their little ones to the dentist or if your child is a bit nervous, the staff are very accommodating and understanding.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service and friendly staff. I have been seeing the Molonglo dental team for the past couple of years for my dental visits and the staff always go above and beyond. I highly recommend the practice to all my family and friends, especially those with young families.

Negative experience: Don’t believe the hype. My experience is that they care more about the google review numbers going up then they do about paediatric dental aftercare following trauma to the teeth. See one example email attached where there has just been no response and then another staff member just creates a new email chain. They are more interested in obtaining images of my daughter’s mouth for social media purposes than they are in her actual dental health. I will not be coming back, I hope you take this feedback on and improve.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I chose this dental clinic. All the staff were very kind, and Dr. Monica was incredibly honest and thorough in discussing my dental concerns. She took the time to explain everything clearly, and the entire team treated me with great care. The day after my appointment, they even called to check on how I was doing and how my teeth felt. I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness and genuine care. I would definitely recommend this dental clinic to others.

Negative experience: I booked here on a public holiday for my child's first dental appointment, and was told they would be open, only for her to arrive and be told they couldn't see her. Edit: I've now been told three different things about their public holiday policies - firstly that it I could make a normal booking, secondly that my child shouldn't have been turned away but I would have had to pay extra for the appointment, and then thirdly the official policy that was quoted at me following my negative google review (which they've now removed), to say they are open on public holidays for emergencies only. Full disclosure, they offered me a free appointment and were lovely to my child, but I would respectfully suggest they should teach their staff the public holiday procedures before lecturing clients on it.

Fantastic experience: I have had a 100% positive experience with Molongolo dental. Dr Ben is absolutely amazing. He is thorough, informative, thoughtful and really cares about what he is doing. I had a pretty big procedure done and he was constantly checking I was ok and did an absolutely amazing job. I would highly recommend Dr Ben and the team.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Hayley, Dr Zachary and the whole Molonglo Dental Surgery team for their kindness and support this weekend. My partner had a dental emergency Saturday evening and from 9am Sunday morning, the team bent over backwards to be accomodating, especially organising for a script for medication outside of normal practice. I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness and professionalism from the team. If this is the response from the out of hours care, I can only imagine what the regular practice is like. (Bonus points for the tour of the gorgeous kids room to kill time and put my partner at ease. The Dino chair is an absolute winner!)

Fantastic experience: I have massive dental anxiety and all of the staff here are so kind and patient, especially Dr.Ben, the most caring dentist I have ever come across. Very upfront about what actually needs to be done, you will not feel pressured into any procedures you don't need and there are many options and information is given clearly and opportunity for questions to be answered to out your mind at ease and for you to comfortably make an educated decision on your care. Highly recommend for any dental care you require, such a warm and calming experience every time I go. Absolutely blown away. Can't thank the team enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Zachary Tan did a root canal for me. He was extremely competent, gentle and let me know each step of the way what was going on. I was really impressed by his professionalism and care that he took to ensure that I did not experience any unnecessary pain. If you want a dentist who is gentle and careful and caring, and really knows what they’re doing, I can’t recommend him enough.

Positive experience: A Mixed Experience I’ve had both positive and disappointing experiences at this clinic. Dr. Monica was excellent—professional and skilled. My visits with her always went smoothly, and I was impressed with the care. However, I recently returned for a chip in a front tooth filling with Dr. Ana, the colour didn’t match my natural tooth. After my first appointment, the reception called to follow up and suggested I wait a few weeks to see how the color turned out. At my second visit, Dr. Ana acknowledged the mismatch and offered a free replacement, but the second attempt still wasn’t right. I even overheard her mentioning to the assistant that a darker shade should’ve been used, which left me questioning whether this was a result of inexperience. Given that it’s a front tooth, I decided not to have it redone again to avoid further drilling. I was expecting better results, especially since Dr. Ana was recommended for cosmetic dentistry. I’ve never had issues with mismatched fillings before, so I’m unsure how common this is, but I’m disappointed with the outcome. Not to mention that my filling started to stain only after a few weeks, which I have not experienced previously.

Fantastic experience: I hate dentists! BUT my dentist on this occasion changed all that. Pleasant, caring, considerate, provided me with a script for sedation which I didn’t eventually use. Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist in Canberra! I had an accident early 2024 where, to my horror, I cracked four of my front teeth and was in need of emergent care. I saw the lovely Monica who took the utmost care of me and was sympathetic to my situation as a university student. It was a long process but throughout all the works of root canal and crowns, I was treated with so much kindness and respect towards my desired outcomes. On top of the fantastic works of Monica, the whole team at the practice were incredibly kind and respectful! The outcome of my fiasco turned out better than I could have hoped and I felt so comfortable throughout what was objectively a sort of traumatic experience for me. Highly recommend this place for whatever you need, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth break at a Christmas day lunch. Frantically, I contacted a number of dentists, many of which were closed. The only dentist to get back to me was Molonglo Dental Surgery. They booked my in asap for which I am grateful. The in clinic experience was really good. Welcoming receptionist and professional team. Dr Monica gave me time to provide my dental history before conducting an examination of my broken tooth. Much to my relief it was a simple fix. I got given time to understand my options and everything was explained in a patient and caring manner. I am one of those people who has a fraught dental history and I am very selective about who I let do work on my teeth. As soon as I got in the chair, I felt at ease and I immediately had trust in the work Dr Monica was about to do. Within 15 minutes, everything was done, with my tooth better than new. Another thing that put me at ease were the measures to support people who have sensory needs. To support people they have ceiling mounted TVs paired with headphones. This is important for me as I am not a fan of hearing the dentists drill. It's this attention to detail which means I am likely to return for further treatment. This includes regular cleanings. I am so relieved to have found this clinic. Especially after losing my old long term dentist and dental hygienist earlier this year. Wishing this clinic every success :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Molonglo Dental twice for two different extractions. One extraction was deemed ‘too tricky’ by my previous dentist to remove and the other extraction proved difficult because I wouldn’t numb. Dr Monica was able to remove both teeth quickly and effectively - with successful numbing! I will definitely be returning, everyone at Molonglo Dental is so positive and kind and I felt very comfortable through what can be a very anxiety inducing appointment.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly recommend Molonglo Dental Surgery. Dr Monica and her associates have provided me with excellent dental care including root canal and crown work. They’re approach is professional, friendly, and with great follow-up care.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst dentist I have experienced. The dentist was very very old with very limited English couldn’t spell my name right and also he could not understand me and I could not understand him. Went in as an emergency and could not even find the issue, he also wanted to just pull my tooth out even though the X-ray showed no signs of anything only some pain. He also farted twice as lay next to him in the dental chair. I left there with nothing actually done apart from needles in my gum and a bit of a poke and prod which he called a deep clean (been to other dentist and this is not a deep clean) at the end of it he wouldn’t prescribe me any pain medicine at all (unlike every dentist I have been to). The place is probably ok but did not feel comfortable or safe with someone who can’t even understand me or spell my name right who couldn’t control his bowels made me feel very u comfortable. Have had to make an appointment with another dentist place to do it all over again. Very dissapointed and in more pain now than before I went in there.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate my visits to Molonglo Dental highly enough. They have always been gentle, polite and so thorough - while keeping in mind the patients needs. We’ve had 3 visits for the kids - each time a roaring success with the kids happy and laughing through it all! Today, Dr. Faramarz was phenomenal, not only with my 3 year old, but also with me (a panicky adult). He kept me calm and talked through every little procedure he performed, stopping to make sure I was comfortable before he could proceed. He clearly explained next steps of action and demonstrated what the procedure would be like and the tools he would be using. Right from the reception to the dental assistants, everyone made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Thanks for such a great visit! We’re already looking forward to our next one! :)

Fantastic experience: After breaking my molar and needing to see a dentist fairly quick I booked in with Molonglo Dental. This was my first visit and I have to say I was very impressed. Dr Karishma was amazing and explained everything to me before the procedure and along the way. I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Next day and no pain in my tooth whatsoever. A bonus, they also have a flat screen above the chair with options to watch different things and wear headphones if you like. My previous experiences at other places never had anything like this. Molonglo Dental will definitely be my regular dentist from now on. Also noted it looks like a brilliant place to take children! Definitely recommend :-)

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment today for an infection and immediately I was told that it had to be removed. Dr Monica was fully booked out and we discussed a later date however lovely staff notified Dr Monica about the severity of my tooth so she came in on her day off to remove my tooth! She was there within 10 minutes! I received a great bedside manner from the assistants and Dr Monica herself, I had little to no pain upon the removal and they were very reassuring. Now this today truly showed the care Molonglo Dental has for their patients and I highly recommend Molonglo dental for emergency procedures or any other dental procedures.

She made me feel at ease throughout, was gentle with the clean and very knowledgeable. I left feeling motivated about my teeth rather than shamed like I thought I might. Fantastic experience: I rated it 5 stars as a patient has been undergone the Invisalign treatment for 9 months. All staff are females and I was treated with respect and courtesy. Dr Fino is very professional and gentle with patient. The procedure was not in any rush or harsh. I would not feel to be judged while the progress wasn't go as expected. Reception and the manager are friendly and attentive. They are always trying to help. It's a medical practice I can trust.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I've ever seen. I hate dentist and Dr Monica made the whole experience comfortable and stress free. If I had a dentist like her sooner I'd probably not have needed my tooth pulled out this time. Very accommodating with happy friendly reception staff you'll be greater with a smile and made to feel at home. Payment plans and afterpay available which also helped me out. This is not a paid review I genuinely could not imagine a better trip to the dentist. Don't believe me go try it for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday had suddenly severe tooth pain, near by dentist took xray and said my previous root canal tooth is now full of abcess, needs immediate tooth extraction. Called in many dental surgeries in Canberra to find out slots only open after a week, I am very thankful to Molonglo Dental Surgery for extraction of my painful tooth on emergency on the same day I called as a new patient. Thanks to Dr. Monica also who did an awesome job, from now on I will definitely visit Molonglo dental only though I live in Jerrabomberra NSW.
